Ratings probably plays a part in it. It was the biggest entertainment news story of 2009 if not the entire decade. But you know what, I think people, especially the media, were being truly sympathetic as well. I think they felt bad for all those years of torturing him and calling him names and making up stories and tarnishing his name. The media really did eff up his life and now that he's gone, I think they felt bad. So there's probably some true sympathy there

Ok, I read every post so far. And I see where you're coming from mykidsmum. I see what you're saying. But i'm a muslim, and I watched it maybe from a different point of view. What I got from it was that Michael has died and passed on. That's it. Everyone can cry and cry and try to bring him back, but he's gone. Period.
It depressed the hell out of me. But that's what I got. Although once I read your viewpoint I can see what you mean. But still, I don't think Yusef/Cat wrote it or sang it in a certain way to give us a message.
And to the person that says Zain Bhika is another Milli Vanilli. Loool...don't insult Michael. His voice is way different. It's just more appealing compared to Zain's.

I hate the new we are the world 25. It's nothing without Michael. Honestly. It just makes me notice how crappy the talent of today is compared to way back when Michael was ruling the world. And makes me sad, too. I get depressed everytime I hear it.
And i don't hear anything different. It is new. I think they just added in his voice as a tribute (since it is his song).

This is soooo late, but I had to reply to this.
First of all, I have to say that i can't 100% be sure that Elvis is dead. I remember looking into him after I started thinking about MJ hoaxing his death and the stuff I found made me think otherwise. I should start looking into Elvis as well...
Anyways, I remember an interview (or was it an article?) Lisa Marie did and in it she said that Michael used to ask her a lot of questions about her Fathers death. He seemed to be very interested in it and when she asked him why he said he thinks he's gonna die the way he did. Now, what if he didn't mean with a drug overdose? What if he meant like a hoax death?
Plus, there are so many similarities between Elvis's death and MJ's. But yeah...I think i'll start looking into the death of elvis. I'm suddenly interested in seeing what I find >:]

I always knew he hoaxed his death for a much bigger reason... And I trust in him. I trust his reasons and his decisions. But I'll always want him back. Idc if that sounds selfish, but I want him back. I miss him...seriously. I really miss him  Even more than that, I just wanna know that he's ok. And happy. And safe. If I was sure than that, than i'd survive.

Jermaine's wife is GORGEOUS. i really just dislike how he treats her though.
i noticed no tears from Tito after he left from the premiere since he was grieving & couldn't understand why michael had to die. yes, i think she's pretty too. i feel so bad for her when she kisses him or tries to hug him and he just pushes her away. what is up with that? she's beautiful! he should be all over her! clearly, michael needs to give jermaine some lessons in the love department ;l

It must be tough having to always live your life in secrecy bcs of what the media might say.
And I definitely think the family is in on it. Now, i don't mean EVERY single Jackson family member. I mean Michael's immediate family. Mom, dad, brothers, sisters. Children.
He'd need their help especially if he wants to pull this off.
But sometimes I worry that one of them will let something slip. What if Joe says something. Or LaToya just babbles it all away in an interview.
I really hope that they do the job right. :S

Honestly, when I was watching the movie I remember thinking this man and...
the one in the orange pants weren't Michael. My mom and I were whispering about it while they were on screen.
She thought that the one in TDRCAU was the real Mike.
But yeah. Definitely isn't him. I agree.

Exactly! Someone commented that it was a rare disease-it is not rare, 1 in 200 people have it-some mild and some more severe. Also have we believed everything LaToya has told us? so far there have been so many stories about who saw Michael's body, when and various different stories of who told who of Michael's death from her. Many choose to believe her when it suits and the things they like but the simple fact is that she is a liar, full of BS and the health of someone, especially a child is a private matter. Michael did not like to speak about his health and he stated as such that it is private. Also why is Prince out and about in bright sunlight if he has vitiligo? Michael suffered for years of abuse from the media before he admitted to having this disease and then he didn't go into detail as he said it is a private matter. He was a private person so why are you doing this?
This should be of no consequence to us-I do not need proof of Michael being the biological father at all-if he is or is not does not make any difference and does not make him any less a Father or a man. A true gentleman is not one who can impregnate a woman-it is a person of honour, respect, non violent and love for his family which includes his children, biological or otherwise. We should not be discussing this at all-it is private and unless someone has DNA proof or was there at actual conception how the hell can they know? And why should we? Threads like this are no help in the hoax at all and only emphasises and stresses the fact Michael was firmly upset about and that is the invasion of his private life. Threads like this are no better than the tabloids you are all too keen to slam. He was and entertainer and we have no right to do this. Very beautifully written.
I agree that whether or not Michael is the biological father or not doesn't matter. He raised them like a good father and a good man should. He gave them all the necessities in life and more. he made them happy. Those kids are so lucky to be able to call Michael "Dad". Father's these days need to take him as an example. My own included.
Also, you're right. I feel like LaToya is so full of it. She says things just for the heck of it. She doesn't think about how it'll affect others. IF Prince has vitiligo, than she should be a good aunt and keep his health problems private and in the family. I don't think Michael approves of that. He was very private and kept things to himself. Why would the health of his children be any different?

Aw, c'mon. She's just interested. I'd like to know the answer to that too, but i doubt he'll reply back.
I also think that it might not be the fact that he's "mourning." Maybe he's helping Michael out. Even way before Michael left. Maybe he was helping him plan everything and therefore couldn't do that show.

He's probably talking about the fact that 9/11 was a conspiracy. An inside job done by the government. You should do some research on it. Makes you really open your eyes to how...disgusting the government is. Ugh. I hate thinking about it. Makes me so angry
