TMZ Articles / PARIS JACKSON I WANT MY BROTHER BACK
« on: August 22, 2013, 03:55:28 AM »

PARIS JACKSON
I WANT MY BROTHER BACK

Paris Jackson was at war with her brother Prince days before she tried to commit suicide, and we've learned she's now extremely regretful and wants to mend fences.

Jackson family sources tell TMZ ... Paris felt abandoned by not just Prince, but by everyone in her world.  When Michael was alive the family bond was unbreakable.  But after he died, she not only lost her father, but the family unit disintegrated.  She couldn't relate to Blanket because he was too young, ditto Katherine because she was too old, so the only possible soulmate was Prince.

We're told Prince became distant to Paris because he developed other interests -- girls, martial arts and cars.  Paris became enraged and the two argued fiercely, which escalated up to the time Paris took a meat cleaver to her arm.

We're told one of the reasons Paris became close to Debbie Rowe is because her mother showed a genuine interest and love for her daughter -- which meant a lot.  But Rowe couldn't solve the big problem in Paris' life -- the feeling of abandonment.

Our sources say Paris has recently been telling friends and family she wants to repair her relationship with Prince, and regrets the conflicts that divided them.

Short story ... we're told the fact that Paris is expressing these feelings is great progress.

PARIS JACKSON PICS
DEBBIE ROWE WILL SUE PIC SELLERS

Debbie Rowe is furious that someone sold pictures of her daughter, Paris Jackson, at a boarding school where she's been for more than a month ... and she plans to sue the people who sold her daughter out ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected with Rowe tell TMZ ... Paris' mom is extremely upset that someone at the boarding school -- located outside California -- has not only sold pictures but information about the girl.

The pictures -- one of which was plastered on Twitter (above) -- were taken a month ago during a graduation ceremony, shortly after Paris arrived.  By the way, the plan was for Paris to attend the school on the QT ... she used a pseudonym.

Rowe is beyond angry, telling friends, "These people, including some websites, are screwing with my daughter's ability to get better."  TMZ broke the story, Paris attempted suicide in June after taking pills and slitting her arm with a meat cleaver.

We're told Rowe wants TMZ to post her promise to sue, because she wants people at the school and everyone else to stop selling out her daughter for cash.

First Photos Of Paris Jackson Since Suicide Attempt — Her Remarkable Recovery At Boarding School Revealed

With freshly-dyed red hair and a beaming smile, Paris Jackson looks like an entirely different girl from the dark, troubled teen who attempted to take her own life earlier this summer.

Indeed, just 77 days after the teen’s overwhelming depression became too much to bear and she slit her wrists with a meat cleaver, Michael Jackson‘s daughter is clearly well on her way to making a courageous comeback.

These exclusive photos obtained by RadarOnline.com show a happier and healthier Paris, who is benefitting from her time at a private therapeutic boarding school in Utah, where she has been living since mid-July under the pseudonym “Frankie.”

The first images of the teen since her troubling June 5 suicide attempt will also provide relief to fans who have been left to wonder about Paris’ mental state since she was hospitalized unconscious after succumbing to the demons she’s been battlingsince her dad’s fatal 2009 overdose.

Paris was snapped on July 18 at the school’s graduation ceremony – surrounded by newfound friends who have shared similar struggles, as they bid farewell some of the school’s alumni.

“Paris was high in spirits,” an onlooker told RadarOnline.com, revealing that she wore bracelets to cover the scars from where she slashed her wrists.

The occasion marked the first time she has been seen in public since the suicide bid, when she had cropped brown hair and a distinct gothic look.

But it’s not just her hairstyle that’s changed: At the luxurious and rural school (which RadarOnline.com has chosen not to name to protect her privacy), Paris has decided to live under a nom de plume, in a bid to make an unremarkable return to a more normal life.

“Paris wanted to come into the school without fanfare, so she decided to change her name, to Frankie,” a source revealed. “She also dyed her hair. Some students still know who she is, but overall, most don’t. She’s just another girl from Los Angeles named Frankie. In many ways, it’s a new life for Paris.”

Paris’ new home bills itself as a residential treatment facilities for troubled teen girls with various problems. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and soaring plains, it’s a far cry from Paris’ hectic life under the microscope in Los Angeles.

Her tuition, which can cost up to $14,000 per month, includes lodging in a home with up to 10 other girls who are overseen by a house parent.

Those real-life interactions are the extent of her social life these days. On campus, Paris is largely being shielded from the internet and social media, as her grandmother Katherine has been convinced that Paris will have a relapse if she continues to read cruel taunts directed at her and her late pop superstar dad Michael.

And the school agrees. “There are three levels of privileges at the school,” the source explained. “Because Paris has only been there for a brief period, she is still on ‘daily’, meaning that she has to earn her privileges through a point count system for such things as good behavior, doing your homework, punctuality.

“Those privileges are television time, internet, access to the phone, socializing with girls from the other homes on campus. As a result, Paris’ access to social media is limited.”

In all, the school is a safe space for Paris to heal, far from the ”psychiatric hospital” that Michael’s brother Randy claimed Paris had been locked up in.

In just the latest chapter of the famed family’s bitter infighting, he wrote on Twitter this week, “I just hate the fact that you [Paris] will probably still be there on my brother’s birthday,” adding, “She is not psychotic. There is no reason for her to be in a psychiatric hospital this long away from her family.”

Paris’ biological mother Debbie Rowe fired back, calling the Jackson brother “grossly misinformed.”

“Like every school, this venue has a curriculum that students undertake,” the insider said. “The students also undergo group therapy and one-on-one sessions with therapists each day.”

Added the source: “She has been doing very well. She is very high in spirits.”

“She hasn’t sailed through this crisis but she is doing much better and with the help of those around her at the school, she’s on the mend.

“Paris is relieved she survived the suicide attempt. She really did cheat death.”

Still, she has a long way yet to go in processing her dad’s death. Said the source, “she still misses her dad tremendously. He lit up her life.”

As we previously reported, Paris was launched into the eye of the showbiz storm following her father’s death, as her moving speech at his memorial gained her national recognition, and put a face on the Jackson kin after Michael famously paraded them around in masks during his lifetime.

In the four years that have followed, she’s stayed relevant via various television appearances and on social media, making her a bonafide celebrity in her own right.

Prior to the attempt, Paris seems to be going through a phase of normal teenage angst, as she’d adopted a dramatic, darker new hairdo and was reportedly rebelling against the practices of her family¹s Jehovah¹s Witness faith.

For more of Paris’ courageous comeback, tune in to CBS’ Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday as RadarOnline.com reveals more details of our exclusive investigation. Check your local listings.

TMZ Articles / RANDY JACKSON BITCHES ABOUT PARIS DEBBIE ROWE PISSED
« on: August 19, 2013, 10:56:50 PM »

RANDY JACKSON
BITCHES ABOUT PARIS
DEBBIE ROWE PISSED

Randy Jackson is pissed that his niece, Paris Jackson, is confined in what he believes is a psychiatric hospital and thinks something really stinks ... but Paris' mom thinks he's delusional.

Randy just tweeted, "I just hate the fact that you [Paris] will probably still be there on my brother's birthday."  Randy adds, "She is not psychotic.  There is no reason for her to be in a psychiatric hospital this long away from her family."

But we've learned Debbie Rowe, Paris' mom, is livid at Randy and is telling friends that he doesn't know what he's talking about.  We're told Rowe said, "As usual, he's grossly misinformed.  He doesn't know what he's talking about.  He has no idea where she is.  She's not in a psychiatric hospital."

Rowe is saying Randy is just bitter because no one wants him to testify in Michael Jackson's wrongful death trial because he's irrelevant.

DEBBIE ROWE
Cries About Paris Jackson
... She's a Shell of a Person

Paris Jackson lost her soul when her father died ... so said Michael Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe on the stand today, breaking down into tears.

Debbie was testifying for AEG in the wrongful death lawsuit Thursday, when the subject turned to MJ's 15-year-old daughter and her recent suicide attempt.

Debbie said she had been in touch with Paris every day until June 5, when paramedics were called to the Jackson mansion in Calabasas after Paris downed a bunch of Motrin and cut herself with a butcher's knife.

Debbie said Paris had been "devastated" by her father's death and that's what caused the suicide attempt. Debbie added, "She tried to kill herself ... She has no life. She doesn't feel she has a life anymore."

Paris is currently at an undisclosed residential treatment center outside California.

Sobbing Debbie Rowe recalls Paris Jackson's suicide attempt

Michael Jackson's children have often been fodder for rumor, gossip and speculation -- so much so that Jackson tried to shield them from prying paparazzi by having them wear masks.

On Thursday, Debbie Rowe, Jackson's ex-wife and mother of his two oldest children, took the stand in the Jackson family's wrongful death suit, and offered brief insights into their lives.

Asked about her relationship with 16-year-old Prince, who attends a private high school in the San Fernando Valley, she shrugged.

"We don't hate each other, if that's what you mean," she said. "I'm closer to my daughter."

Rowe said she and Paris, 15, began seeing each other at the end of March. She said they talked on the phone and texted frequently and that Paris stayed with her on weekends.

Rowe, who raises quarter horses in Palmdale, sobbed as she explained how Jackson’s death has affected Paris, referring to a June 5 suicide attempt that sent her to the hospital.

“I almost lost my daughter,” Rowe said. “She is devastated. She tried to kill herself.… She doesn’t feel like she has a life anymore.”

The judge ordered a short break so the sobbing Rowe could compose herself.

While Rowe testified during her day and a half on the stand about Jackson's use of drugs to alleviate pain from medical procedures, her testimony also humanized a well-known eccentric.

The jury seemed to hang on every word of Rowe's testimony, which included details about Jackson's illnesses -- and his feelings about his skin condition.

“He’s very shy. For him to have all this going on and to be in public, it was really really difficult for him,” she said.

The singer was embarrassed of his skin conditions, she said, and compared himself to the Elephant Man.

Jackson’s vitiligo — where skin loses pigment in patches — “would come and go,” Rowe said, but grew progressively worse. He made a decision to “depigment” his skin because he couldn’t find decent makeup, she said.

“Everybody says he bleached himself, which he didn’t,” she said.

MICHAEL JACKSON ACCUSER
I Can Help Victims
Of Child Sex Abuse

Wade Robson -- the choreographer who claims Michael Jackson molested him -- is launching his own foundation to help child sex abuse victims through new age healing ... TMZ has learned.

Robson founded a non-profit organization called "Hearts in Our Hands" on July 1 -- registering a domain name and a Facebook page.

A rep for Robson tells us all the required legal docs haven't been filed yet -- but the group will be dedicated to preventing abuse ... and will take a holistic approach to treating victims.

Translation: a whole lotta meditation and yoga.

A source close to Wade says the choreographer's gotten deep into yoga himself lately -- and now wants to quit professional dancing forever.

As TMZ previously reported ... Wade is suing MJ's Estate, claiming he was sexually molested by Jackson from the age of 7 to 14.

The Jackson Estate and several family members have dismissed Wade's claims as little more than a money grab.

Celine Dion
Bigger Than Michael
So Claims AEG

It's Billie Jean vs. Titanic, and AEG claims the ship wins hands down.  Translation -- AEG is trying to convince the Michael Jackson jury that Celine Dion is bigger than MJ.

AEG exec John Meglin is on the stand in the wrongful death case, scoffing at the Jackson family's claim that Michael would have earned $1.5 billion had he lived.

Meglin told the jury it's his opinion Celine is a bigger star and therefore more bankable than MJ ever would have been.  Yet according to reports, Celine is worth a measly $400 mil.

Fun facts:  Jackson ranks #3 in most albums sold worldwide -- more than a billion (behind the Beatles and Elvis) . Celine ranks #9 at 200 million albums.

As for Grammys, MJ also has her beat with 13 Grammys to her 5.

So we gotta ask ..  (poll on tmz)

TMZ Articles / DEBBIE ROWE To Testify About MJ's Shocking Drug Use
« on: July 25, 2013, 03:56:04 AM »
DEBBIE ROWE
To Testify About
MJ's Shocking Drug Use

Debbie Rowe will testify in the Michael Jackson wrongful death case that MJ was a SECRET, hardcore drug addict for decades -- testimony that could severely damage the Jackson's case.

Sources connected with the trial tell TMZ ... Rowe will be called by AEG Live Tuesday or Wednesday ... and she'll testify that in the '80s and '90s ... she knew Michael was abusing some prescription meds, but had no idea his habit was so out of control

We're told Rowe will point the finger at her former boss, MJ's go-to doc, Arnie Klein.  Rowe will testify she learned after the fact that Klein had a standing order ... when Michael came to the office he should be injected with Demerol and Vistaril (which makes the Demoral stronger).

Rowe will say Michael kept the extent of his drug abuse a secret from her -- something that will clearly help AEG, because the company is arguing it had no reason to know Michael was a drug abuser.

Rowe will say she saw Michael on TMZ coming out of Klein's office days before he died -- looking totally out of it.  We're told she will say she called Klein after Michael died and said, "What the f**k did you give him?  He's dead and it's your fault."  She then hung up on him.

Rowe's testimony will further help AEG because she'll say she had no idea Michael was secretly going to surgical offices specifically for the purpose of getting high and going to sleep.

She'll also say she's the only person in Michael's world who could control him -- that she's the only one (including Michael's family) who would say "NO."

The testimony could be critical.  If the jury believes Michael could hide his hardcore drug use, AEG would have no reason to sound an alarm or take preventative action.

MICHAEL JACKSON
I Didn't Want to Be Moonwalkin' at 50!

Katherine Jackson may have suffered a legal blow over some jokes her son Michael told years before his death -- specifically, that he didn't want to be a crotchety old moonwalker.

We've just gotten our hands on a portion of a transcript from Katherine's deposition in her wrongful death case against AEG Live.  Katherine says she was surprised when Michael agreed to do the "This Is It" tour because "he was always making a joke about he don't want to be doing the moonwalk on stage when he's 50 years."

Katherine's video deposition was just played for the jury.

Joke or no joke ... you can bet AEG is going to use this to convince the jury that Michael's shelf life as a performer was limited.  Translation, he wouldn't be making a lot of money by doing concerts.

TMZ Articles / Prince Jackson I FEEL THE NEED FOR SPEED!

Prince Jackson
I FEEL THE NEED
FOR SPEED!

Prince Jackson picked up something in his pickup Wednesday -- a speeding ticket.

TMZ has learned ... Michael Jackson's eldest son was nabbed by cops near his Calabasas home for going around 40 mph in a 25 zone.

FUN FACT:  Prince was stopped in the area where Justin Bieber and his Lil friends race his Ferrari -- at much higher speeds.  FYI -- Justin and the Lils have never gotten a speeding ticket in that area.

As for Prince -- well, the 16-year-old must now dig deep, because the fine is around $250.

Already blowing the $10 billion nest egg he's after ... kids.

TMZ Articles / MICHAEL JACKSON BILLION DOLLAR MAN
« on: July 15, 2013, 07:45:58 PM »
MICHAEL JACKSON
BILLION DOLLAR MAN

Michael Jackson could have raked in as much as $1.5 billion had he lived ... at least that's what an entertainment money man told jurors today in MJ's wrongful death case.

Accounting guru Arthur Erk testified ... Jackson could have earned minimum $1.1 billion if he performed a worldwide concert and showcased his music in Las Vegas.  And Erk felt if ticket prices were high enough, the figure would soar to $1.5 bil by the time Michael turned 65.

There are a couple of problems.  First, MJ never planned a worldwide tour.  The "This Is It" tour was limited to London.  Second, the family is seeking more than $40 billion.

Another interesting thing ... Erk said he deducted what he felt Jackson would have spent between age 50 and age 65, when he hypothetically would have retired -- $134 million.

Oh the struggles of living on a budget.

Paris Jackson Leaves Hospital for Residential Treatment Center

After a month at UCLA Medical Center following her June 5 suicide attempt, Paris Jackson left the hospital on Tuesday and headed to an undisclosed residential treatment center, a source confirms to PEOPLE.

The facility was selected by the 15-year-old's grandmother Katherine and her biological mother Debbie Rowe on the advice of Paris's UCLA doctors.

As for why the need for such continued, seemingly intensive, treatment, "The feeling is that Paris is still a danger to herself," explained the source. "Both Katherine and Debbie want her to get the help that she needs."

Michael Jackson's buttocks were so scarred and infected from long-term drug injections ... the singer's thickened skin nearly broke his doctor's syringe -- this according to the doctor's testimony.

Dr. Stuart Finkelstein -- who cared for MJ back in 1993 during his "Dangerous" tour -- sat for a deposition earlier this year in Katherine Jackson's wrongful death lawsuit against AEG, describing the signs of MJ's drug addiction, and the testimony was just shown to the jury this week in court.   We got video of the depo and the details are crazy -- Finkelstein described one incident, saying, "I attempted to give [Michael] a shot of Demerol [a painkiller] but his buttocks were so scarred up and abscessed that the needle almost bent."

Finkelstein said the scarring resulted from "significant, extensive" shots of drugs over time.

He also describes his bizarre interactions with MJ back in the day, including squirt gun fights. You gotta see it.

Rumored use of Michael Jackson body doubles could be raised in trial, sources say

In the months before and after Michael Jackson's sudden death in 2009, rumors ran rampant that body doubles were being used in an effort to disguise the King of Pop’s ailing health. Now sources connected to the ongoing $40 billion wrongful death suit filed by the Jackson family against AEG tell FOX411’s Pop Tarts column the body double reports will likely be dug back up as the case heads to trial.

An insider tells FOX411 that Jackson had strong incentive to ensure he fulfilled his commitments to AEG, as he agreed to do the “This Is It” tour “out of sheer desperation” for fresh funds. Jackson knew if he didn’t fulfill his contractual obligations, he would be forced to pay back the $30 million in advance money and possibly forfeit his share of his prized Beatles catalogue, the source said.

Speculation over just how able he was to take the stage first surfaced in March 2009, with some speculating he was so far from ready, a body double was needed in his place.

About three months before his death, several spectators and critics started to question whether the jittery figure donning aviator shades and a sparkly jacket while appearing before the masses at the massive tour announcement press conference inside London’s O2
Arena was Jackson, or an impersonator.

“It just didn’t seem to be Michael. He was very thin, yet this ‘Michael’ was stronger, had a bigger head and always wore a wig. This London version of Michael also had much bigger hands,” a source connected to the Jackson family said, based on her personal knowledge of the entertainer.

Similar questions over Jackson’s health and real identity raced across the Internet, with many also suggesting that the awkward, almost macho stride of Jackson heading into the arena was a far cry from his normally soft-footed walk, and that even his chin looked off.

“In my opinion, the man in the clip isn’t Michael Jackson; it’s a man posing as Michael Jackson. The (apparent) body double’s walk is cockier and had more bounce than MJ’s typical stride,” explained Bianca Cobb, a senior instructor at the Body Language Institute.

“Michael had a less confident walk with smaller strides and less pep. He also tended to walk with his head down, and deflected attention. The seemingly double spoke more confidently by projecting his voice more and was also a bit deeper. Michael tended to have a softer and lower tone of voice which didn’t project across the room.”

Cobb also pointed out that Jackson had straighter teeth than what was evident during the conference, and the alleged double’s chin – although containing a cleft – was overall more tapered, and that Michael’s upper lip didn’t elevate as much as the alleged double’s upper lip at full smile.

“The apparent double’s smile had a lift on the side which is the commisures,” she told us. (The commisures is where the upper and lower lip meet.) “MJ’s smile was flatter than the (person at the conference) as their smile was more arched.”

Another source, who worked closely with the star across his career, wasn’t convinced it was him, but wasn’t convinced it wasn’t him either.

“There are inflections in his voice that sound true to me. His lower voice I have not heard and yet, within them, I recognize his voice. But this is not an easy call,” the insider said.

“The walk is something I have never experienced. His lower voice I have not heard yet, so these things make me wonder.”

Officials at the arena, as well as the Jackson camp, vehemently denied that it was anybody but the real deal at that conference, and another source close to Jackson assured us it was him. Well, at least him on something.

“There is no question it was Michael. The gangster walk was really him.
The problem is that he was heavily intoxicated during this press conference, which ironically, is one of the things I believe will be an exhibit during this trial,” said the insider. “He was drinking heavily and extremely high on at least a couple of substances. Even when Joseph (Jackson, father) saw the press conference he became concerned. In fact, that was about the same time Michael began calling his dad again seeking ‘protection.”

And by “protection” we’re told Michael kept saying that people were “after him” and his catalogue he was paranoid that everyone he came in contact with was trying to kill him.

And these aren't the only body double allegations potentially slated to be raised during the trial. Just four months after Jackson’s passing, the rumors resurfaced when Columbia Pictures released the “This Is It” documentary, chronicling the King of Pop’s rehearsals for the sold-out “This is It” tour, which was scheduled to begin just a few weeks after he died. Many speculated that Jackson doubles – a dime in a dozen in Hollywood – were used to fill gaps in the film. Such claims were only perpetuated after Joe Jackson declared that it was “mostly body doubles.” However, the film’s distributor was quick to shoot down the widespread accusations.

“This story is pure garbage and there are no body doubles… Every time they see the King of Pop they will know that every frame is unquestionably and undeniably Michael as he rehearses and prepares for the London concerts that were to have begun this past summer,” stated Steve Elzer, Senior Vice President of Media Relations at Sony Pictures, at the time.
Others close to the star aren’t quite so confident.

“The doubles or stand-ins were used in rehearsal footage we saw in ‘This is It,’” argued a Jackson insider. “Look specifically at the performances of ‘Human Nature’ and ‘Thriller’ in the film, there are others too... The lips are off with the words and the real person doing the dancing requires much too much effort. MJ was effort-less and this stand in was obviously good, but not MJ good by any stretch.”

And don’t expect either side to play nice in this intense trial, which comes almost four years after Jackson’s death.

“AEG is coming in with guns blazing. They are intent on bringing up everything including the child molestation, and will attempt to embarrass Michael and the Jackson family,” added our source.
Lawyers for AEG and the Jackson family did not respond to a request for comment.
