Hello Shake,Michael Jackson was friends with Louis Farrakhan, the famous Nation of Islam leader, through Jermaine. He contributed to some of their work. On a video, Farrakhan states that while he was in Africa he received a message that Michael Jackson had contacted him asking for help because he did not feel he could do the 50 shows. This video series is called "The Crucifixion of Michael Jackson." My hope is that somehow either Farrakhan or someone else was able to help him.
Well, in the video you get the impression he didn't. But my hope is that somehow they managed to help him (hence--hoax).
Michael was extremely thin, to the point of looking sickly. He especially did not appear to have the weight required to do 50 concerts. It amazes me that some keep saying he was not too thin. One might wonder how thin he needed to be for them to call him too thin.To prevent videos from being lost, such as the one where he supposedly said he did not want to do the 50 shows, it would be a good idea to download such videos and store them on your harddrive. what is with his eye in the photo?
Also TII was filmed in HD. Most people look heavier on this format. I certainly noticed the difference in how "fat" someone appeared when I bought a Hi Def tv. On the old Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) tv's people didn't seem as heavy and even that format is supposed to make people look heavier. There is a fine line between being slim and being too thin. Because a lot of people in the Western world are overweight to varying degrees it can make "normal" weight people look abnormal because we are used to seeing heavier people almost as the norm.
mykidsmum, The other thing about being too thin when one gets older is that it can be ageing. People with more fat on their faces when they are middle aged look better/healthier.
MJ was too thin in TII.. and remember, we only got the edited bits.
