The question is:WHY ON JUNE 25, 2009?Why not sooner?Why not later?And why did it coincede with Michael's words: "This is the moment, this is it"? - to paraphrase - "This is the moment for Sony to kill me for the catalog"?

Perhaps the former Sony exec who shared this info had one glass of wine too many? I have absolutely no idea why she would have confided in him....maybe she believes MJ really is dead now, so it is safe to talk about it?....but I wouldn't be surprised at all to find out it is true....we know Michael was involved with Malnick (sp?) in Florida....there are lotsa mobsters in Florida, I understand....my only hope and prayer is that he had the means to escape....I believe he is smart enough to outwit ANYONE!I can picture someone saying this at a party, especially if they like MJ and feel bad for him. I know I might! I personally am not questioning the info you shared with us, heisinme09... I'm only questioning the theory of Sony wanting Michael dead (as opposed to bankrupt).

I did not read all posts, so I apologize if anyone has mentioned this. Who owns the rights to the Beatles catalog now? The reason I am asking, is that I am seeing and hearing Beatles songs on commercials and games. Also, there is beatles songs that is just now being released on itunes. After all these years, why now? If Sony is in on the hoax, maybe they are blackmailing him to release some of the catalog to keep their mouth shut about MJ. Or , MJ's family was forced to sell the catalog. Every where I go, I now hear MJ's music along with the Beatles. I never did before. Also, if the family thought that Sony was involved in the murder of MJ, I hope and pray that they would not sign at 250 million dollar deal with them to release his music. They could have been free and clear of them. They could have persued another recording company to release more of Michael's music.
