That moon man with the flag is from MTV isn't it?

It's originally from the moon-landing. MTV did design an award after it though.

But the flag he's holding is the MTV flag isn't it?

You know, now that I'm looking closer it does look like MTV's logo.

 :?  :?

And could it be the same space ship from this 1983 "outer limits" MTV commercial starting at :07?

It is the MTV flag..everyone hit the pre-order button for the album and it will take you to the Global Store and you'll see the image again on the left. Highlight over it and it magnifies the images...can see clearly it's the MTV flag!  :D

Michael Jackson News / Re: new album cover

So many points to make about this album, the cover & the description of it. I'll try to focus on just a few things as not to get carried away.

My first thought about the cover is for people to remember the time when his music was more in the spotlight than his personal life. When he was in fact the King of Pop and not a mockery made by the media.

But as a hoax follower and believer, I want to comment on a specific image.

The description about the cover says it is to represent "key moments" and "important people in Michael Jackson's life".

I am focusing on the bubbles (name of his pet chimpanzee btw) and the contents inside. There are 7 of them on the cover (we all have figured out by now that the number 7 is recurring in a lot of clues). I can see clearly the hat, sunglasses, the Hollywood star, and interesting to me is the Prince symbol. Not sure why that is considered one of Michael's important people maybe or key moment?? I think there is a fish in one of the bubbles, but I can't decipher what is in the last two bubbles...

Anyone have thoughts about the bubbles specifically? Can anyone see the other contents of the bubbles?

Michael Jackson News / Michael Jackson's Vision Videos & more...
« on: November 03, 2010, 12:22:20 PM »
Being out of the loop for quite a while on this forum, I apologize if this idea is posted elsewhere, but I felt this the best place to post. I think all the "crazy" things have calmed down a bit and now the vision of Michael can start to develop.

I noticed today on Michael Jackson's website there is a new image called Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour by Cirque Du Soleil set for 2011. And there are Michael Jackson's Vision Videos Promos on the homepage.

At the very bottom of the page there is this description, "Instead of a traditional flat packaging cover, Michael Jackson’s Vision comes with a unique multi-frame motion cover that brings the packaging to life right in your hands! The advanced-motion lenticular cover features 18 of the most iconic moves from this collection and brings the whole package to new level of interactivity that represents the forward-thinking creativity of the short films within."

I put in bold the part that caught my eye "forward-thinking creativity". The reason I feel this important is the it's a subtle way of introducing Michael Jackson's vision for the future. I had post an interview he gave a year before his "death" where he said he was wanting to do films and that he had a lot planned for it.

I don't think we are going to get Michael to just appear and say he's alive. He was a fan of magic & illusion, and used a lot of ground-breaking entertaining techniques to get his message across for decades. I think we will continue to see his genius, but now from behind the scenes, using his library of songs, short films, etc.. that will be all newly packaged to us, but all of it he's been creating for years for this moment and beyond.

And finally (for now) there is another Michael Jackson vision being promoted, the interactive video game called the Michael Jackson Experience.

Anyone with their opinions about this please comment!  :)

Before everyone gets so excited over what they think is a live performance...watch this interview with Paul Anka...it proves to me that he's another entertainer trying to use Michael for his own benefit and acting like he cares...this is exactly, in my opinion, why Michael faked his death to get away from these people.

I'm not convinced that Michael would collaborate live with him on this song. Anka gets half of song rights so of course he's going to be allowed to use it, but I don't think he's doing it as a tribute.

We shall have a video duel because I don't think Paul Anka is just "another entertainer trying to use Michael for his own benefit and acting like he cares"!

Thank you for this video...I'm rusty on this story.

I do hear a difference in the way the song is sung on the cd and then at the concert. Guess it'll still be some time before we know the truth!

Michael Jackson News / Re: Cheryl Cole copies MJ - brit awards
« on: February 18, 2010, 11:53:18 PM »
it wasn't even close as dramatic as MJ's entrances. I really didn't know either who she was until this thread, but so what if she pops up on the stage like that? i've seen other performers use that, for example just this past tuesday I was at the black eyed peas concert and they all shot out of the stage like MJ. Many performers use other trademark MJ moves. it's everywhere in performances because everyone has been influenced in some way by MJ. who can be original anymore after the amazing MJ? NO ONE really. he did set such a high standard for performers.

by the way, not dogging him at all, but MJ wasn't the first to do the moonwalk..he just made it mainstream. he saw it on the streets and learned it from a break dancer jeffrey daniel and made it what it is today. so even the great MJ had influences..james brown, jackie wilson, fred astaire...but he also worked extra hard to be the best! and of course a LOT was natural talent and genius that others can never match.

but there is no need to put down cheryl unless, and this is where i don't know enough about her, she is thinking she is better or at the same level as MJ..then there's a problem with her...

Michael Jackson News / is it possible?
« on: February 15, 2010, 09:39:56 PM »
This thought just came to me, so please understand that I'm just going with it for now until I can develop it further if necessary.

In regards to the different trails, or what we sometimes call clues, we've been led on throughout this hoax...is it possible that MJ knew all along there would be a lot of people who would try to capitalize on his "death" and therefore he let things go as is instead of planning EVERYTHING out like we have thought? The reason I say this is because some people we heard from months ago aren't really heard from anymore. Could it be that their 15 minutes of fame are up and/or they got what they wanted from MJ's death...

Now MJ can do what he really needs to do to have his message heard without these distractions? It's like he's realizing who his true friends are. I'm sure all of us at some point wonder who would really care if we died; or we have wondered what it would be like to be at our own funeral...can't blame MJ for doing it...

Time can heal wounds and death can also reveal all the bad rumors and lies, so finally the good that we all remember about MJ can be let back in. He is missed more and more everyday, and the memory of him is so positive now on award shows, etc... It's like the horrible gossip about him is dying instead of MJ. He is becoming stronger in our memory and although it is painful for us fans that we can't see him physically, we are getting a big dose of reality.

I do believe there are things that he planned and there is a final mission/message to the discrepancies in the whole death story. For as long as it took for the media/people to ruin MJ's life, it will be awhile for the fans and MJ to undo it. So we all need to remain patient and make sure we stay on the right trail and not veer off to follow the wrong people who are only out there for their 15 minutes of fame. I think we are figuring those people out!

mj always wore "plain" clothes for many years until recently with the ed hardy designs. I had posted a long time ago that mj and christian audigier were collaborating on a clothing line (link below). so makes sense why some of the family is seen in the clothes...once again what better way to appeal to the masses than to send his message out to everyone through the most popular clothing line. clever businessman mj is...

Michael Jackson News / Re: Don't Lose Your Fatih ( Plz READ )
« on: February 09, 2010, 01:02:36 PM »
great post!

See how easily the media can turn our thoughts? We have plenty of clues and evidence that MJ is alive, and that NOTHING about his "death" makes sense nor has been directly addressed. There is the option of believing the media at the surface, which most people are doing, or we can question what we hear/see and do research of our own to find the truth! I don't think any of us are crazy conspirators. So far the posts I have read on this forum have been of sound mind based on what we are given. Yet we still let the media change our minds. I don't think MJ is done with making his point, because there are still doubters and still things that don't make sense. I think he wants to be clear and in order to do so he must weed out the media followers. Best thing to do is stay objective and not give in to the hoopla.

I am definitely unclear with who is involved and/or who is being taken for a ride in this hoax. I don't think Dr. Murray would be able to go through this without knowing it is a hoax because who would want their life ruined to make a point about our judicial system, doctors who do shady practice, and media who either make up a story or bring it to a whole new level just to make money. You know a lot of people already hate him and think it's all his fault.

Do we know if the judge is actually a judge? If the jury will be "real" people and not actors? I have to think that the reason it took so long for Dr. Murray to be charged is because there are actors involved who need to all be on the same page with the story. If they took him in for questioning immediately then where would we be today with this? And all the MJ tributes, the movie, etc.. so far would've been overshadowed by a "trial." So this phase in my opinion is like others have agreed is what the general public will take as closure/justice. But for us it's just the circus that is about to unfold that brings us closer to the truth!

Thanks to those who read my thoughts :)

Michael Jackson News / Grammy Awards behind the scenes...
« on: February 02, 2010, 01:11:37 PM »
As we are putting together clues from the actual Grammy Awards performances, I want to dig a little deeper to see what is behind the scenes since we are all thinking this is Michael's doing only.

I have to admit I am confused from what I've been finding and have some questions first:

Questions:
1. WHO is officially in charge of setting up the Michael tribute?
2. WHO has the rights to use his song and show his creation of Earth Song in 3D?
3. HOW is this person/people sure that this is really sending the correct message of Michael?
4. And WHO chose Celine, Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Smokey, Carrie Underwood and Lionel Richie to present/sing the tribute?

Explanation:
I read a Business Week article dated June 25, 2009 at 10:24PM EST that is headlined as Settling Michael Jackson's Estate. Side note: this article was quickly put out there wasn't it?

In it I read two names that have helped Michael recently in his money problems...Tom Barrack, Chairman of Colony Capital, LLC and Philip Anschutz, Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), owner of 02 Arena, owner of Regal Cinemas, and owner of Staples Center where Grammy Awards were!!!

I looked on the Colony Capital website and they are investors in the Neverland Ranch (shown and known as 1224 LLC on the site).

Here is the article on Philip Anschutz that I find a LOT of interesting information: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

HIGHLIGHTS of a few of the statements:
No matter what tragedy befalls his core asset, it seems Anschutz has figured out how to continue monetizing Michael.
AEG was so committed to keeping the event (concerts) on track, it paid Dr. Conrad Murray to act as the singer's personal physician
AEG, not so incidentally, owns the Staples Center. Two AEG Live executives, Randy Phillips and Paul Gongaware, are listed as producers on the film as well.

Luckily for Anschutz, he can probably recoup some lost funds (from concerts) by distributing the film (TII) to his Regal theaters (ensured that it will be family-friendly since he has a stake in its creation) and promoting it through any of his newspaper, magazine, or Web holdings

My confusion is that are we being strung along by Philip Anschutz? or is Michael hoaxing them? or is Michael working with him? I am not sure, but something doesn't sit right with this new information. I can't imagine Michael working with a man like Anschutz who is said in the article to be a supporter of Conservative causes that include limiting the rights of gays and lesbians and promoting "traditional" family values in entertainment and media.

Michael definitely loves his family so I can see him liking the promotion of family values and it would make sense then as to why his children accepted his award, but to limit rights to anyone doesn't sound like something Michael would agree with. But I could be wrong in that aspect of Michael's beliefs. I believe he preaches LOVE to all.

Any additional thoughts?

Michael Jackson News / Re: Why Michael Chose GAGA-GOOD!
« on: February 02, 2010, 12:11:31 PM »
Why Michael chooses GAGA: read article about Michael below from Bloomberg Business Week online. It is dated June 25, 2009 at 10:24PM EST

Financial Assets Included Sony/ATV Catalog

A genius of a songwriter and performer, Jackson was not so in tune with his personal finances. At one point the star owed more than $270 million to Bank of America (BAC). In 2005 the bank sold that debt at a discount to the private equity firm Fortress Investment Group (FIG). Jackson, who reportedly spent as much as $30 million a year during the good times on clothes, travel, and toys for his ranch, successfully fought an attempt to auction many of his personal possessions earlier this year. Over the years those suing Jackson for past-due bills included his former publicist, video director, attorney, and financial advisers.

Not much is known about Jackson's estate planning or will. He leaves behind three children and his well-known brothers, sisters, mother, and father. The star had one asset that will likely be the target of much maneuvering by creditors and heirs in the coming months and years—his 50% interest in the Sony/ATV music catalog. Shortly after his string of early 1980s hits that included Thriller, one of the best-selling albums of all time, Jackson was shrewdly advised to buy the Beatles catalog for $47 million. Ten years later, Jackson merged his music company with Sony Corp.'s (SNE) music publishing arm in a deal reportedly worth $90 million to him.

Today, that company owns the publishing rights to thousands of hit songs by everyone from Neil Diamond to Lady Gaga. Music publishers collect royalties from radio stations, movie studios, and record labels every time a song is played or album sold. Jackson's half interest has been estimated to be worth as much as $500 million. Jackson's own hits are owned by a separate company, also now part of his estate.
