The Jacksons ~ A Family Dynasty / Re: NeverCanSayGoodbye First page

Katherine will be doing an interview on "Dateline" NBC in the states this Friday -- supposed to be an exclusive. Check your local listing for times, I think it is 9 PM for the East Coast.

Thanks for posting, I missed it on TV -- have to check if it will rerun but thanks again for the post. I have to watch when I have a bit more time and feel that I can (emotionally speaking).  I too read her book and found it incredibly interesting, revealing and disturbing with regard to the whole "witchhunt" aspect.  I'm sure that this episode of her show will follow in her original footsteps in subject matter.

First, you hear that she was in Atlanta on the set shooting Tyler Perry's movie "Why did I get married too?"(She tells this to Harper Bazaar), the interview with Robin Roberts she said "I was home in New York. A day just like any other day, when she got the call about Michael. Now she is saying that she was flying from New York to Atlanta to work on the movie.  Which is it? It sounds like Tyler Perry is covering for her.  I have got to find the interview Tyler Perry had with ET.

Okay, thanks...I don't know if we all misunderstood her original story or not...Lemme see if I can get this straight...Did she mean she was in the process of leaving home in New York for Atlanta when she got the call?...When she arrived on set of coarse the whole world knew by then of his passing and that's what Tyler was talking about with the whole atmosphere thing. So I'm wondering if she actually meant that she was on her way from NY for ATL when she learned that he had passed. I don't know....and it really doesn't matter cause it's a lie anyway. Oh those Jackson's!

I seem to remember that when she said she was in NY she also stated that it was in the morning.  Impossible...I live in NYC and the news broke at approximately 5:00 PM in the evening.
Remember, CA is 3 hours behind the East Coast which would have made it about 2:00 PM on the West Coast, which fits in perfectly with the timeline of the events CA time.

George W. Bullshit is pure evil. I never understood why that many Americans voted for that creep.

A lot of us didn't.  If you remember, he did not get the general population's vote -- Al Gore did.  It was because of the electoral college (an antiquated thing that should have been done away with long ago) and the decision of the US Supreme Court, that he "won" the first election.

but a wave or style of a wave can be copied and mimicked by accident but pp you spend time with - you pick up naturally their mannerisms  - so it could be a family member? what do you think?
The mannersim might be able to be "picked up" but not the body shape, length of arm, etc. IMO.  I think that both sawman and waveman are both MJ.  I suppose one could argue that one or both could be a double but to me the mannerisms are just too MJ.

This is It ~ DVD & Blu Ray / Re: TII Michael with his pants in orange

I watched some videos from whitesocks last night and she put a lot of the inconsistencies in this whole hoax in an understandable way. She brought out the fact that most of us think about Michael's message being the environment and saving the planet. Then she suggested "green man" at WATW along with other stuff and then brought up Mr orange pants. She then connected Orange pants to the cebu prison dancers who were also dressed in orange and suggested that MJ's message is  also "They don't really care about us.  So we can argue over if it is or isn't MJ but maybe we need to look at  why Orange pants was there.   This simple connection by colours had totally bypassed my brain. Whitesocks goes into a lot of detail and it makes a great deal of sense. Her whole series is called "connecting the dots" . Interestingly enough, TMZ also seem to be watching her work and borrowing from it .

Never heard of the whitesocks videos -- can you provide a link, sounds interesting.

Invincible / Re: Speechless ~ It's meaning to Michael and YOU

According to the Randy J Taraborelli biography on MJ he says that Mj wrote "Speechless" in a half hour right after having played with his children.

Other Odd Things / Re: Why do you all think he's coming back ???!!!!
« on: March 04, 2010, 10:03:19 AM »
I agree that he won't come back.  Can you imagine what the media would do to him if he did?  It would be even worse than whatever had been done to him previously.

I also remember him saying in the rabbi tapes how he wanted to disappear.  Even if he loved the stage, he wasn't on it for years -- he could have if he wanted, so why wasn't he?  In my opinion he was done with that part of his life.  I really believe that he wanted some peace in his life.  He also had stated in those tapes how he hated growing old and couldn't stand the physical manifestations of age.  Do you think that he wanted to be in the public eye if he felt that way?  He stated that he had a hard time looking at himself in the mirror and  thought he looked like a lizard.  Someone who feels like that about themself is not going to want to put themselves out in public for the world to see.

Perhaps he found a way to pull off a "death" and wanted his fans to know that he wasn't really dead in an effort to give them some peace and hoping that they would want for him what he wanted for himself.  IDK, but I really think that he wanted a chance at a life free from all of negativity that had been so much a focus of his life. I hope that he has found his peace whatever the real story is and I would hope that those fans that proclaim to love him so much wish the same for him.

I'm sorry, and I am probably going to be bashed for this, but I really think that those who insist that he has to come back to his fans and are expecting his return to the limelight are really just being selfish.  If these fans really love MJ then they would just want for him what he wanted for himself, whatever that may be.  The wholehearted expectations of a comeback are just an extention of the sort of thing that MJ himself stated that he didn't want to deal with any longer.

"He was getting this little thing for me."  "My son told me that he was getting something for me online."  That's the explanation????

What kid is going to get a stun gun for their parent as a present?

So this is the explanation of how the stun gun was bought.....

Stun Gun Caper -- Supermarket Accomplice!
Posted Mar 3rd 2010 3:55PM by TMZ Staff

So how does a 13-year-old boy score a stun gun? It's as easy as buying groceries.

TMZ has learned Jaafar Jackson, Jermaine's precocious boy, found a serious loophole in his pursuit of the electronic weapon -- at an L.A. Ralphs supermarket.

Sources tell us Jaafar bought several gift cards from the market -- we're told either Visa or American Express. He then used the cards to purchase the weapon online.

Online sites that sell the weapon in question make prospective buyers declare they are 18 years of age or older.

So apparently, Jaafar figured out if he got a lawful credit card number, no one would be the wiser.

Smart kid.

Here is the latest update....

Jackson Family -- MJ's Kids Never in Danger
Posted Mar 2nd 2010 6:19PM by TMZ Staff

The L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services will be hearing different stories from different people about the stun gun incident, because some members of the family are saying the incident lasted only for minutes and none of Michael Jackson's kids were ever in danger, TMZ has learned.

We're told members of the family say the stun gun -- which Jermaine's 13-year-old-son Jaafar purchased online -- was delivered to the home several weeks ago and that Jaafar took it upstairs and was playing with it for only 4 minutes or so ... when Katherine and members of the security team heard noises from the stun gun.

We're told the family is saying there were two other kids in the room with Jaafar -- they say none of Michael's kids were present. The family, we're told, is saying that the gun was then taken away and that was that.

But as we first reported ... others will tell a different story to DCFS. They will tell social workers that Jermaine's son was playing with the stun gun and pointing it at Blanket and Prince, and that the stun gun was there for several days before it was confiscated.

We're also told others will tell DCFS there is another stun gun on the premises, something the Jackson family vehemently denies.

ok, thx for this update.   then my next question would be: why take this ANCIENT DEMO and use it as a soundtrack for presenting the lightman?
my take: the lightman-presentation is gonna be at night, of course, so everybody can see the screens well. plus, it's safer to disappear unnoticed, in case things don't go as planned, for whatever reason.
This video is "pieced" together -- I'm not sure that because it includes some new rehearsal footage that it necesssarily means that they were going to use this version in the lightman opening.  I think the person who put the video together just chose the demo version for the video's music --  I didn't get the impression that this was used in the rehearsal.

The original title for Thriller was actually "Starlight".  I remember seeing someone that worked in the studio being interviewed and he said that MJ & QJ had reworked the words to the original song.
