O2 Announcement EXPOSED! Please Read!

  • on: May 04, 2010, 06:58:59 PM
I just saw what someone had said about the O2 conference & Michael looking angry that day. It has been reported that Peter Lopez, Michael's music attorney had helped cancel it the first time. I was just watching it again. & I thought if that is true. Then Michael obviously didn't want to do those shows. He was being forced into it. So I watched it again & at 5:20 when he throws up the "Black Power" sign, he gives this look, you can see it's directed towards someone, like he is angry. Then he shrugs his shoulders & turns back to the audience & smiles one more time then leaves. That gave it away right there for me, he wasn't happy. When he got off the bus he seemed irritated & Thome Thome was the one ordering him where to go & holding his arm. I also noticed the part in his speech where he says "These will be my final show performances in London. & when I say this is it, it really means this is it because..." & then he chuckles & looks off to the side. I think he laughs because he was planning something to get out of it & away from them, the bad guys, but they didn't know. It sounded like a "HAHA I got you!" or "You have no idea" kind of laugh. I couldn't find the orginal place where people were talking about this that's why I posted it here. Thoughts? I really am now more than ever thinking that Peter's death was either because he was being threatened by those Michael escaped from or who were after him. They probably felt he knew something or because he helped Michael go against them, they went after Peter. It all is becoming more & more clear. The truth is revealing itself, little by little.

Here's the link, I don't know how to post it on here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c00CwFA5JNE

Watch at 5:20, take another look at "the look" Michael gives & the shrug, that's definitely not directed at his fans. Also watch in the beginning when he's getting off the bus, he doesn't seem excited & the way he's surrounded by men, one of which is Randy Phillips? & then Thome Thome is holding onto his arm & ordering him where to go. Michael loves his fans we all know that, so when addressing them he is smiling & telling them he loves them, but he definitely has attitude at this announcement. & the chuckle show he was up to something that "they" (those who were controlling him & forcing him to do this) were unaware of. He was pissed off, they were trying to control him. He also is very vague in his announcement, I think for a reason. They told him to announce the shows, he did that & also said more without saying too much  ;) He was planning something, whether he accomplished it or not, I'm not sure about.

I COMPLETELY agree with you that he DID NOT want to do these shows and that the speech he gave was an F-you to the people who were forcing him into it!!!!!!!!! He emphasized that he would NOT do concerts again over there. Look how many they were getting.. Way more than any one country has ever gotten before. MJ liked to spread his love, not keep it contained in one place. I feel that he loved London with all his heart, but wanted to spread his message throughout the world and could not do that in one place.

I have said this many-many times! Thome I believe was fired right after that conference!! That should say a lot about what was going on that day and on that stage!! Good post!!

Great analysis, teine21 & tracyk! It was suggested that I re-post two British blogs posts I came across yesterday that speak directly to the confusion/mayhem leading up to the O2 announcement....after you read these, you will be astounded at how differently you look at Michael's behavior at the O2....it is VERY CLEAR that he did not want to be there...and remember how so many people have commented on his gait (the way he walks) in that backstage clip....so much so that it convinced many that it was a double and not MJ at all....but if you look at him again, it could all be attributed to him being COMPLETELY PISSED OFF about being there! And all the other strangeness about his behavior that day also fits this explanation! I had always wondered about the Black Power Fist....O.M.G.!!!!

Blog Entry #1
Here is a mention of Peter Lopez from a British blog called The Newshound....I'll warn you in advance...this blog is NOT at all kind to Michael:***********************************************************
Sad but predictable news has reached the Newshound that Michael Jackson's O2 negotiations have faltered for a third time.

Selected staff at Sony BMG's London HQ had been briefed that Jackson would announce details of his O2 residency on Thursday morning.

Meanwhile, staff at the O2 arena were told over a week ago that the residency would be announced in a press conference on either Wednesday or Thursday of this week.

By midday on Thursday there was confusion at Sony HQ as to why the announcement had not been made. However, staff were reassured that the announcement would be made by the end of the day.

The announcement never came.

The Newshound is now hearing whispers that Jackson has fired Peter Lopez, the star's music lawyer of several years. Lopez had been representing Jackson in negotiations surrounding the residency since they began in 2007.
Rumours of the lawyer's dismissal are as yet unconfirmed and the reasons behind the alleged dismissal remain unclear.
The Newshound, however, will be so bold as to venture that should these rumours prove true, there is just one reason behind the decision.

Jackson is extremely work shy and has been since the late ninties. In 1999 the star signed contracts to perform two concerts at the turn of the millennium. However, Jackson failed to perform those concerts and never offered a legitimate reason as to why.

Jackson approached his next studio album, Invincible, so lazily that Sony rejected it in its original state. Insiders claim that Jackson was so addicted to alcohol and painkillers that friends and colleagues feared for his life. The star reportedly had no interest in the project, earning most of his songwriting credits by changing occasional words in other people's compositions.

Prior to the album's release, Jackson performed two largely mimed concerts in New York, infuriating producer David Gest by showing up high on painkillers.

The star went on to record one music video for Invincible but shunned all subsequent promotion, branding his record company 'racist'.

Later, in a 2003 television special, the star declared that he hated touring.

In late 2003 Jackson struck a peace deal with Sony, agreeing to embark on a short European tour to promote his 'Number Ones' compilation album. However, it is worth noting that although Jackson technically agreed to the tour, he had already got wind of an impending child abuse allegation and hired Mark Geragos as his defence lawyer. As such, it could be the case that Jackson knew he would never have to fulfill that particular obligation.

Since his child molestation trial Jackson has promised charity singles, a music video and an album - and, more recently, claimed to be 'finalising' TV specials and a world tour. To date none of these projects, some of which date back to 2005, have ever seen the light of day.

No evidence exists to suggest that the star has completed any work on his new record apart from a lacklustre duet with Akon, featuring a vocal so half-hearted that Jackson could have recorded it in under an hour.

Jackson displayed further laziness early last year when he reneged on a deal with Sony to promote 'Thriller 25' at the Grammy Awards. The star was due to perform a live medley and then complete a backstage interview for the promotional podcast series known as the 'Thrillercasts'.

Jackson angered Sony by failing to complete either activity and enraged Grammy organisers to such an extent that they cancelled an 'all-star salute to the King of Pop', despite having already advertised it on national television.

Sony sources also told the Newshound in late 2007 that Jackson had recently backed out of an X Factor appearance, claiming he had done so because the press had 'ruined the surprise'.

During the last 18 months Jackson has become involved in serious discussions with AEG Live - promoters for the O2 arena - on three separate occasions; once in late 2007, once in early 2008 and once during the last fortnight.

It seems that firing Peter Lopez could be Jackson's way of backing out for a third time, effectively killing the negotiations by removing his only point of contact. This would be typical of Jackson's cowardly approach to dealing with problems, which tends to consist of either running away and leaving somebody else to clear up his mess or trying to place the blame on a third party. Or, quite often, both.

However, speculation is rife that the O2 has already booked dates for Jackson's residency, with no concerts currently being marketed between July 6th and August 5th. Rumour also suggests that some papers could already have been signed, which - if true - could leave Jackson fighting one of the most intense legal battles of his career.

The future of Jackson's O2 residency is unclear. The only certainty is that Sony employees and O2 employees were expecting an announcement on Wednesday or Thursday. That announcement never came. At the same time, the steady stream of leaked information has once again dried up, suggesting that negotiations have ceased.

More as and if the Newshound hears it.

Thursday, 26 February 2009
Jackson announcement this morning?

Sony sources are telling the Newshound that today (Thursday 26th February), at 9am GMT, an announcement regarding Michael Jackson's O2 residency will be made via his official Sony website.

The Newshound must stress, though, that this may be misinformation.

For example, a year ago when rumours of an O2 residency were circulating, a high up Sony source told various fansites that the concerts were to go ahead. Plainly, the shows did not go ahead. This is just one of many instances of misinformation about Michael Jackson being distributed by authoritative sources.

In the world of Michael Jackson nothing is concrete until it is officially announced. Sometimes the star changes his mind on a whim. On other occasions people act beyond their briefs and leak information before it has been confirmed. Sometimes false information is intentionally leaked with the intent of distracting the press and public from ongoing negotiations. Other times high-ups float false information as part of a mole hunt - the aim is to discover and plug the leak.

The Newshound has decided to publish this breaking news as it was delivered directly by numerous Sony sources. However, there is every chance that for one of the aforementioned reasons, the announcement will not be made.

Fingers crossed, however.

Blog Entry #2
Here is the 2nd reference to Peter Lopez in the British Blog, The Newshound which may provide a timeline of when Lopez stopped working for Michael...this comes from a British blog site, written April 15, 2009 in regard to background of the This Is It O2 Press Conference:
*****************************************************************************************

In the world of Michael Jackson, onlookers must often wait for the dust to settle before events become clear. The star is eratic, his plans are rarely concrete and his motivation is often beyond comprehension.

Events surrounding Jackson's press conference last month were typically baffling, but the Newshound is now able to shed some light on the confusion that surrounded the announcement of his London concerts.

In February the Newshound became the first journalist to break news of Michael Jackson's summer residency. Shortly afterwards, the Newshound received information from Sony and O2 sources that a press conference would take place on Thursday 26th February.

The date came and went and the Newshound's sources were bemused. At the time, it was speculated that company heads could have leaked the wrong date as a diversionary tactic.

The Newshound can now reveal that this was not the case - Jackson really was due to announce the concerts on Thursday 26th February.

Sources involved in organising funding and sponsorship for the concerts say the star is a 'loose cannon' who simply failed to show up in London at the appointed time.

Jackson fired lawyer Peter Lopez early in the week that the announcement had been scheduled, leaving organisers unable to contact him and forcing them to scrap their plans.

When concert promoters eventually contacted Jackson through his manager, Dr Tohme Tohme of Colony Capital, the press conference was rescheduled for the following week.

When anxious organisers received word that Jackson had boarded his flight to London on Tuesday 3rd March, a source contacted the Newshound to leak the star's arrival time and accommodation details. Organisers also ensured that news was leaked to Jackson's many fansites.

Those responsible claimed to be leaking the information on Jackson's behalf, saying that the star wanted his fans to greet him upon his arrival.

This later proved untrue - Jackson hid behind an umbrella at the airport and entered his hotel through a back door, shunning the fans who organisers had urged to wait outside the hotel all afternoon.

The true reason for the leak was that the previous week's event had served as a stark reminder to concert organisers that Jackson is entirely unreliable.

In an act of desperation, information was leaked to the Newshound and to the fan community in the hope that the mainstream press would pick up on it. If the press caught Jackson sneaking into the country, thought the organisers, there was no way he could pull out of the press conference and sneak back out again.

It was The Sun who delivered the golden egg, capturing long lens photographs of Jackson exiting his private jet at Mohammed Al Fayed's private airstrip.

The Newshound can today reveal that despite having been captured on camera arriving in London, Jackson still attempted to pull out of his press conference.

The Newshound was issued accreditation for the press conference and so was stuck in the holding pen, otherwise known as the Indigo2 nightclub inside the O2 complex, as a drama secretly unfolded at Jackson's hotel.

As the appointed time of 4pm drew closer, press and photographers grew ever more anxious: Why were they not being allowed into the foyer for the announcement? Annoyed snappers and reporters began gathering at the nightclub doors, much to the chagrin of PR staff.

"Nothing will be happening for at least twenty minutes," press were told, "so you may as well sit down." Twenty minutes soon became thirty, then forty. Forty minutes became an hour.

Press were eventually led into the arena at around 4.30pm, after relieved PR staff received confirmation that Jackson had finally left his hotel. The star would later appear onstage at 5.30pm, an hour and a half late.

The official reason for Jackson's lateness was that he had become stuck in traffic en route to the O2 complex.

This story was later contradicted by reports that before Jackson took the stage for his announcement, he became the first person to walk around the O2's new exhibition, the 'British Music Experience'.

This was self-serving spin designed to accomplish two goals. The first was to give the impression that Jackson had been at the O2 centre all along, distracting press from the real reason for his lateness, and the second was to shamelessly promote the complex's latest attraction.

In fact, both stories are easily disproved.

When Jackson left his hotel for the press conference he was, as usual, accosted by a mob of fans and photographers.

Photographers snapped the star leaving his hotel at approximately 4.15pm - a quarter of an hour after he was supposed to have taken the stage. He wasn't stuck in traffic and he wasn't walking around an exhibition - he hadn't even left his hotel.

The Newshound can exclusively reveal that Jackson had barricaded himself in his hotel room and spent several hours refusing to attend the press conference. Minders were forced to stand in the hotel corridor and plead with him through the door to his room. By the time he was persuaded to leave, he was already significantly late for the announcement. Meanwhile, at the O2, PR staff were becoming concerned and irritable.

Once at the O2 Jackson remained reluctant to take the stage. After Dermot O'Leary introduced the star, it was several minutes before he eventually stepped through the curtains. Footage of the press conference on the star's official website was later edited to give the impression that he had sauntered immediately onstage.

When Jackson did take the stage he abandoned his teleprompter and gave a disjointed speech. Rather than the upbeat concert announcement fans had expected, they were instead subjected to a rambling retirement announcement in which Jackson sounded audibly irritated by the fact that he was to perform again, sternly informing the audience, "This is the final curtain call, OK?"

Caitlin Moran later wrote of the event, "He seems borderline tetchy about being here at all... It sounds like a weary warning. I will not be performing for you now, is the subtext. I will give you nothing else... After announcing that that the concerts will be in July, and that he loves us all so, Jackson is gone - giving four minutes to people who have been waiting five hours, and 12 years, and a lifetime."

After Jackson left the stage one young female follower was carried from the building, sobbing that Jackson had sounded angry with his fans.

Reports suggested that Jackson later returned to his hotel drunk and complaining loudly about the prospect of his live comeback.

Since Jackson's announcement British tabloids have been awash with stories surrounding the upcoming concerts. These have included stories about four separate properties Jackson will supposedly live in (Rod Stewart's Essex mansion, a house on the Thames so he can travel to the concerts by boat, a castle built atop a network of haunted caves and a private house in suburban East London), stories about Jackson hiring David Copperfield to help orchestrate magic tricks, and suggestions that Jackson will enter the stage astride an elephant.

The Newshound can reveal that most, if not all of these stories, are false - but they are not the concoctions of tabloid reporters. The stories are in fact being systematically planted on an almost daily basis by concert promoters AEG Live, who have developed an obsession with keeping the concerts in the headlines.

The reason? Although the official line is that all of the concerts are sold out, the company is facing a ticketing crisis.

Just days after the concerts were announced, 'The Times' revealed that AEG Live had secretly given up to 1000 tickets per concert to commercialised touting company Viagogo. The tickets would be sold at inflated prices on the condition that both companies shared the profits.

At the time a spokesperson defended the move, saying, "To suggest that there won't be a premium market is unrealistic." Indeed. But isn't that why several blocks of seats at each concert were reserved for £800-a-ticket premium packages?

After reserving several blocks per show for official premium packages and donating up to a further 1000 tickets per show to Viagogo, almost 10% of all seats for the residency were being sold for hugely inflated prices. That is without taking into account the number of business-minded buyers who snaffled tickets in the official sales with the specific intention of re-selling them for several times their face value on Ebay.

Consequently, although the shows are officially billed as 'sold out', somewhere in the region of 50,000-100,000 tickets currently remain onsale in the form of VIP packages on Ticketmaster, overpriced tickets on Seatwave and Viagogo and countless tickets being touted on Ebay.

AEG now has a dilemma on its hands. The company has fallen victim to its own greed. Bosses accurately predicted that the shows would be immensely popular and would sell out, leaving a huge excess demand. What they over-estimated, however, was the number of people who could actually afford to pay hundreds of pounds for a concert ticket.

As Britain slips deeper into recession, the number of punters with hundreds or, in many cases, thousands of pounds to spare for one pair of Michael Jackson tickets is dwindling and the Newshound is skeptical as to whether, even at the height of the economic boom, there were ever 50,000 people who would be willing to splash that much cash on a night out.

AEG's reaction has been to release a steady stream of false stories to the popular press in an attempt to keep the concerts on everybody's lips but, publicity or no publicity, the public simply cannot afford the extortionate Viagogo prices.

If sales of premium tickets remain slow, organisers face the prospect of hundreds, perhaps thousands, of empty seats at each of the 50 concerts. Worse still, some of the empty seats will be directly in front of the stage. Ironically, had the seats been included in the general sale they would have sold out immediately. As it stands, inflating the ticket prices has actually cost company bosses significant profits - not exactly the desired effect.

A final note from the Newshound on Jackson's father, who has recently hit headlines fo attempting to stage a coup and oust his son's current management. Reports suggest that Joseph Jackson emailed media outlets and fansites two weeks ago claiming he had assumed control of his son's affairs.

The 79 year old was reportedly hoping to cut himself in on Jackson's 50 nights in London and convince the star to piggyback a Jacksons reunion tour on his own solo success.

The debacle led to the publication of a strange article by Celebrity Access wich seemed to quote Frank Dileo claiming to be Jackson's manager. This is not the case. Jackson is still managed by Dr Tohme Tohme and Colony Capital, but that Dileo is speaking on Jackson's behalf is an interesting development. The Newshound revealed in April of last year that Dileo was becoming a more regular fixture in Jackson's camp.

The Newshound can reveal that Joseph Jackson has been trying to worm his way back into his son's affairs ever since he learnt that the O2 deal was being finalised. Jackson was sticking his nose in so regularly that staff involved in fundraising for the Jackson concerts believed he was integral to the deal. Jackson told them he was also arranging a Jacksons reunion concert to compliment the residency. Rumour was that a Jacksons concert at Wembley Stadium would be announced in early April, but evidently that did not happen.

The Newshound wonders, though, whether there may be some truth to the rumour. The Jacksons were involved in negotiations for a Wembley Stadium concert in Summer 2007 but the deal was never finalised. Reminiscent indeed of the O2 residency, which was first discussed over 18 months before it finally came to fruition.

As is always the case where Michael Jackson is concerned, only time will tell.

Yup, I agree with you too. I also meant to add in my post, that I don't think it was MJ that had fired Peter Lopez, I think it was Frank Dileo or Thome Thome & they did it because he was helping MJ go against them. They didn't like that so they fired him. & maybe MJ had contacted him before his "death" to help him so now they thought Peter had something to do with helping MJ fake his death & went after him for answers or to get MJ to come out. Or he knew about them so they had to threaten him to keep him quiet & he maybe just couldn't handle it. There is definitely more to all of that. The truth is coming out. All I know if MJ didn't want to do these shows, they were forcing him & trying to control him & he was planning a way to get out of it. I'm not sure whether he succeeded however & that he is safe now or if they caught on to it & he was you know...murdered  :? But we are definitely getting somewhere.

Thank you for that. Michael is a very smart man who knows what he wants & he knew what he was doing when he didn't show up. As I mentioned before this post, I don't believe it was Michael who fired Peter Lopez, I think it was Thome Thome or Randy Phillips, Frank Dileo or someone. They wanted complete control over Michael.

Oh & the "Black Power" fist, that's definitely a message to them. & the way he did it & the look & the shrug, it was meant to be a slap in their face.  ;)

Your post is right on, teine21! It's like I'm seeing the O2 press conference for the first time! OMG! This runs so deep! I just pray that Michael was able to stay one step ahead of all of these greedy bastards and that the Hoax was his way of doing so...God, I hope that's the case! Thanks for your thoughts...I believe you are on to something, that's for SURE!!!

Wow, this is the first time I read this article and I thought I had read almost everything on the net, lol.  This article really explains Michael's behavior at the O2 announcement.  No wonder so many thought it could not be him.  We have never seen him angry publically before.  He was pissed.  It also explains why Brian Oxman spoke out and said he believed Peter Lopez was murdered.  It certainly seems like that may be the case.  I wonder how much of the truth will come out at the trial next month.

I am so glad you brought this up. I haven't been able to get the Peter Lopez death out of my head all week. This HAS to do something with Michael.  Even the suicide note he allegedly left didn't have a reason why he did it. I think the letter was written for him and he was killed. So sad.  I'm 99% sure this is connected to Michael. Just don't know how.

Wow - I feel so bad for Michael and his children. It makes so much sense. Is there any way to find out who was on that side of the stage where he was looking? His demeanor definitely changed at that point.

I could never understand him barricading himself in his room but now it makes perfect sense if they were forcing him to do something he didn't want to do. I don't think it had anything to do with fear or laziness or anything else the media was fed. It's funny that he was probably told to read from the prompter and he deliberately ignored their demand.

Interesting part was Joe's involvement. He never came forward after Michael's death to announce that he had been given authority had he? It was only the friend that came forward.

Sadly, I think Mr Lopez' demise is directly related to Michael somehow. If the time frame is right then it's been about 2 years ago, right? I hope the truth comes out. I also remember reading that Michael was unaware of the price gouging going on by AEG. And why was Sony involved in the concert? Is that normal? I don't understand that but it serves as a reminder that Sony and AEG were working together to make money off of Michael.

I also don't think Michael was lazy or unreliable. I think he was continually manipulated by others and the times he didn't show was when he outright refused to play their game.

Is it me or does it feel like we are reading a mystery novel? Sometimes I have to sit back and remember that this is indeed about real people. It's so bizarre, really, the wave of emotion this all brings. The drama of it all unfolding like reading a Sherlock Holmes novel. I keep praying for a happy ending to all of this.

I agree and this new info about behind the scenes at 02 Press Conference is a Big Revelation. It makes everything crystal clear doesn't it? I mean MJ has been working since the age of 5. I think he was burned out but he was a Commodity and they were never going to let him retire. He was being Pushed & Pulled and Exploited and Manipulated by so many Greedy Sycophants and Vultures....it just scares me to imagine what it must have been like for him.

It does all make so much sense. I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing it. It's definitely becoming more clear now. It's like as we get closer & closer to the trial, the truth is being revealed little by little. I definitely think he was supposed to read from a teleprompter, they usually have those at things like that. But he DID ignore that & just said what ever the f*** he wanted to. He had so much attitude. & the look he threw towards the back & then the chuckle he directed to the side, he was sending them a message & that message was F*** YOU! I'm CONVINCED that Peter Lopez's death had everything to do with MJ & that he didn't commit suicide, he was murdered. Usually if it's suicide you at least make sure your family is safe & you say goodbye. He died abruptly & the note didn't say anything to why he did it. It was extremely vague. This is getting crazy but we have to hold on & wait for the rest of the truth. I'm also hoping that MJ managed to stay one step ahead & that they didn't catch on & take him out. I really hope he faked his death & they are exposed for who & what they really are. But honestly, it really could have gone either way.  :? I think perhaps we should turn this into the official O2 thread? & please post anything more you all find out about the O2 announcement, concerts, Peter Lopez, who was at the announcement, etc. Anything related to this. We are definitely on to something, no doubt.

This is such a great post, really well put together.

I remember reading about this on another blog awhile back.

I also haven't been able to get the Peter Lopez mysterios death out of my head either there is something going on for sure and he is part of a piece of the missing puzzle in the hoax/murder.  This is just like a gangster movie where they start killing off people....

I hate to think what is going to happen next..

Hey teine21....good job! Here is another view of the O2 announcement I found on YouTube...taken by a fan at the press conference....to me it's clear that Thome Thome and Randy Phillips are literally waiting at the back of the stage for him as he leaves the stage....I get a vibe like: "Michael...don't even think for a second that you're getting out of our sight"....but it does beg the question who he was shooting the Stink Eye to right there at the end....obviously someone in the front and to the right...I was thinking that would like have been Phillips or Thome, but this video seems to show otherwise....also, looking again at the footage of him getting off the bus....he looks completely pissed off to me there....look at his body language....a combination of sulking/storming forward....like he's thinking: "Shit, let's just get this farce over with and get the eff outta here!"....I know I've seen more footage of backstage....I'll let you know what I find....keep up the good work....I'm starting to think this is HUGE and how ironic that it's been right in our faces all along....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TEcwJBw4LY

Thank you for the video! I agree, it was like they were keeping a very close eye on him. Making sure he did what he was supposed to do. Hmm, it could be possible when he gives the stink eye he is looking into a camera because he knows they are watching it backstage? Please do let me know anything else you find. & yes isn't it ironic? We've been digging all over the place & here it was all along. The beginning of the truth. BTW I also noticed when he chuckles he looks back behind the curtain as well. & when he gets off stage, Thome grabs him right away.  ;)

I watched carefully at the part of the video when MJ does the shrug with his head and shoulders he is definitely directing it towards someone and it's not the fans.  It's like a cocky shrug that he does like yeah what you want some of me?  He also has this kinda evil grimace look on his face when he does it.  I also think that he may have said something under his breath.  So there is proof from this conference that it was suppose to be 10 shows.  I never seen Michael do a cocky pose and look like that before.  He look like he was plotting on somebody that rubbed him the wrong way.  I think Michael got pissed off before he came on stage.  Also he had a swag when he walked into the arena.  People say that wasn't him but I think it was just his wig was throwing off his look and I believe he may have had something done to his lips they do appear larger.  Somebody commented that he was throwing up the black power sign as well.  I'm not exactly sure but he was throwing his fist up like he wanna go Mayweather on somebody.  I think MJ took matters into his own hands that's how This is it came to be with Kenny O.  Once MJ found out that someone was trying to play him like a sucka into doing more shows that he didn't want to do.  I think someone in MJ's management camp was shady and also I believe Arnie Klein to be shady.  So my hope is that MJ was able to get them instead and that justice will prevail and they will be brought down.

what comes to mind now is Kenny O saying in an interview on tv( can't remember the show, maybe Ophrah) " Michael did'nt have to die"  and  " I can't believe he's still not with us"      Somehow these two phrases sound contradicting to me . One thought about first phrase is Kenny O is part of the bad guys yet did'nt think they needed to go as far as to off MJ  or  He's on mikes side and found that mike did'nt have to fake his death over this
Second phrase, always had me thinking coma situation...
Indeed the 02 conference ,broken down like that it makes a lot of sense. I'm with you guys on this who feel this is like reading a mystery novel,  now i read a ton of mysteries every year but i'll be darned i can't get my head around this particular mystery just yet!
Keep the faith though!!I'm pretty sure MJ knew what he was up against and got out in time!

This is a great observation, and totally explains his behaviour.  WOW.  Thanks for this post.  I too have suspicions regarding Lopez's death.  It's just too coincidental.
I've always thought Joe Jackson is feeling really guilty about something or is covering up something .  Does anyone else feel this way too????
Also, we can eliminate rumours of it being the impersonator "Navi" .

He was there...........maybe as an decoy for when MJ arrived and left..???????

I am mortified by the latest news that Lopez is dead! I, too, don't believe it was suicide but murder, like many of you.  This implies that something very serious and troubling was happening behind the scenes and I am frankly worried about it all. It definitely feels like "piece by piece" all will be revealed.

I, for one, don't believe that MJ was a drug addict or alcoholic (although I may be naive and wrong)....but my intuition tells me he was playing those idiots he worked with. He was painting a rather impressive false portrait of himself to aid in his plan. I truly hope he trumped them all!

It is good that new light has been shed on the O2 announcement in regards to MJ's behavior. It certainly seems plausible under that pretext. He definitely is showing attitude and is directed at someone....but the question is who?

If this story is truly correct....it is far more dangerous than I had ever expected. All I can say is that I hope the children are under tight wraps and well protected. There is no telling how corrupt people are or where they will stop!

At first i thought that Michael Did want to do the shows.... only 10 no more than that.... i also think the move to do 50 shows was planned well before the 02 confrence, and michael knew, or found out about it and that could explain the attitude.  What also struck me, The TII DVD extras, i think its staging the return bit, when they explain about how they were trying to get michael for residency.... they said " We TOLD Michael that HE HAD TO come back and regain his crown as the greatest live entertainer!" Did michael ever lose that crown ?

But if the shows is the reason behind the hoax, then why the heck is murray involved ? why a trial ? and if the shows are the problem... The shows would have ended in March.... or knowing AEG they might still be going.

Just wonder how long TII was supposed to last

And this is actually really starting to get serious... there is definatley something fishy going on

This article also gives motives for murder.  They knew it would be impossible for him to do 50 shows, not to mention he didn't want to.  If AEG bought up 1000 seats per show and were trying to sell them at outrageous prices they were in the hole, if it is true the seats were not selling for the amount they wanted.  It would have looked bad to have that many empty seats right up front at most of the shows.  Not only embarrassing to them but to Michael as well.  You would think they would have just sold them back to the arena and let them sell at regular price.  Maybe AEG was afraid they were going to lose their butts and took action to recoup their money.

Joe said he would not see This Is It because most of it was not Michael but doubles.  He knows his own son.  I wonder if he knew for a fact that Michael was not the one showing up for practices?  Different reports puts Michael in his home and also at rehearsal at the same time the night before June 25.

The article states that Joe Jackson got involved and was saying he was managing Michael again, however, Joe himself stated he couldn't get near Michael because of the people surrounding him. He said he had been trying for weeks to even get a phone call thru to him.  Everything in this case is contradictory.  None of it makes sense.

At last, a post not to be denied.  I have never believed that Michael would do those shows, and always felt he was forced, that his hands were tied by Sony or AEG or some other entities.  They wanted Michael to be their puppet and they were of the mindset to do every and anything possible to make sure that he was.  But they forgot, that shy, soft spoken Michael Jackson had BALLS and he would not be handled that way.  I am so GLAD to see this post.  It has made my day.  Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!  If anything happened to Michael, this little evidence should at least shed some light on the history and as far as Lopez is concerned, something tells me he was an offed witness.  He had to be put down.  Not a suicide, but made to look like one.  Michael Jackson did not want to do those shows.  Michael Jackson gets what Michael Jackson wants.  Were they done?  HELL NO.  Ask somebody.  They tried to make Michael feel obligated by insisting he HAD to do them to get out of debt.  What Crap!  I'll bet he's out of debt now and he did it HIS WAY.

Well with AEG, Phillips and SONY, unable to sell tickets and Mj notwanting to do the concerts. could'nt they have also helped him to fake his death.  I mean the concerts were
insured right, plus the movie, and the DVD release, made mega cash because of his death.  This could go either way maybe Lopez knew the truth and was blackmailing someone, about letting the public know the truth.

It is very confusing and still it could go either way.  I am correct was the attorney murdered on the side of his house?  Interesting way to cmmit suicide on the side of your home, this does not make any sense to me, other than he was ambushed while outside of his home.

Listen guys...there was plan A and plan B...Plan A was to get MJ to perform at these concerts...based on what his fans said so so long ago, that near the end, his body guards were keeping him away from his fans so he couldn't tell his fans any more that he didn't want to do these concerts and the video I saw with my own eyes that is now GONE of him saying that and based on MJ's recent history of not performing when expected and the fact that he was missing rehearsals and everyone was fed up...........ENTER PLAN B!  They knew they were never gonna get paid with MJ acting this way...the only other thing left...Kill him.  WORTH MORE DEAD THAN ALIVE.  They tried to keep him on plan A...they drugged him up and let Murray move in with him to keep him drugged and keep him compliant rather than loud and COMPLAINING!  When that still didn't get him showing up to rehearsals...Plan B...

The funny thing is...I don't blame MJ one bit!  He should have signed on for 100 concerts and throw them all in the garbage!  no one, NO ONE was more responsible for his TRIAL than his own industry and his own "coworkers" all turned their backs on him...I don't blame him if he EVER set one tiny pinky on stage again.  His industry didn't deserve the dinner they ate that he paid for...I think MJ was sick and tired of being everyone's meal ticket.

I agree with you on the Plan A/Plan B. I have always thought that since the beginning. I'm not so sure MJ got out of this alive. This AEG Crew had pre-bank-rolled everything and I read with this company, losing Money is NOT an option. The Concert was NOT sold out, it seemed MJ had reached the end of his rope, on and on. A failed investment was Not an option for them.....Poor MJ :(

I've read 4/5 differant accounts that are all the same, except some say was found in Back Yard and others say Front Yard. I agree it's unusual to drive your kids to school, then come back home to off yourself in front/back yard where wife can find you. (Out on a rural road in the car would make more sense to be found by stranger or police)

I think the truth is finally coming out. It's always been about the money...but not for Michael, for everyone else. I think he would do 10 concerts, but not the 50. His own family was after him to tour.

But I still believe MJ knew what was going on and found a way out. We have to remember the memorial service, the family's reaction, etc. I don't believe he's dead. I do believe that he reached out to Farrakahn and they found a way to protect him. However, I think "they" may have figured that out by now and possibly went after Lopez to get information or intimidate Michael.

Or what I prefer to think is that MJ is legally trying to expose all of them and needed Lopez help to do so. So they both are in some sort of protective custody. But all of it explains why the kids are no where near him.It may also explain why the police were called to the house that night for a possible intruder. The trial and investigation may be uncovering more than AEG, etc are comfortable with. It's going to get worse before the June date. It's time for the prayer warriors to get serious. Now we all know why we are here and Jermaine's message makes a lot of sense. Does it also make sense that Klein's
derogatory remarks about Michael are now appearing? This is no longer a game.

The entertainment business has always been shady at best and

I really hope the police do a thorough investigation into Lopez's death and not just let it go as a suicide.  Even we can see it is likely murder.  This whole thing stinks like three day old fish.

And I am thinking if they did "off" Lopez, what's to keep them from forcing other people into doing or saying things or if they don't they will be killed too...including family or anyone else involved.  I just hope that Lopez is not dead...if he really is, this is definitely related.  Farrakhan... hmm!  He sure gave a hellified speech about MJ crucifiction... that's some bad ass dudes if they are involved.  I would say there are alot of different "bad boys" playing parts in all of this.  This is going to be another long month.  :?

They are already having his funeral..

A funeral for entertainment lawyer Peter Lopez will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, his family announced.

Lopez, 60, was found dead Friday of a gunshot wound outside his home in Encino. Coroner's officials have confirmed the death as a suicide.

Lopez was a founding partner of Kleinberg Lopez Lange Cuddy and Klein, and over the years represented artists including Michael Jackson, the Eagles and Julio Iglesias. He had bachelor's and law degrees from UCLA and was a member of the California State Athletic Commission.

Survivors include his wife, actress Catherine Bach; their daughters, Sophia and Laura; a son from a previous marriage, Michael; a brother, Arthur; and his parents, Eleanor and Arturo.

Thanks for finding this. but guess what? It does NOT say Where he will be buried does it? Just that the funeral service will be held at a certain church. Usually it states "inturment will be at _______ Cemetary" So Where will he be laid to rest???

OK...everybody, let's take a breath and recap some things about this....first of all, I am the person who originally found the British Blog posts called The Newshound....I actually originally shared them here because of the mention of Peter Lopez' name in them as a means to track down his exact involvement in MJ's life and the timeline of his employment by Michael....it is true that we don't know if any of it is actually true, but my gut feeling, by the way it was written, was that it very possibly could be....it did seem to fill in a LOT of gaps we were either curious about or didn't even realize were in play....if nothing else, it sure sparked a lot of good conversation about something we'd never considered before....that this man, Peter Lopez, might be an entirely new-to-us, MAJOR player in Michael's "death" and what led up to it....the man does appear to be dead....he had a family....what a tragedy, no matter if it was suicide or murder....he did not die of natural causes....something is really rotten here....I am seeing many interesting takes on this from many of you....I think we are all onto something REALLY big....we are seeing evil....and it is a scary thing to see....but we must keep the faith...and persist in our search for THE TRUTH....no matter what it is....that is paramount...one more thing I want to say is this: when you read these two blogs and then watch the footage of MJ at the O2 Press Conference, it's like someone turned on a light for me...the weirdest parts of Michael's behavior caught on tape that day completely line up with that account....MICHAEL LOOKS SO COMPLETELY PISSED TO ME NOW!....backstage, he sort of storms off the bus with Thome at his heels, walking in a very un-MJ way....why does this look so strange to us?....I'll tell you EXACTLY why...because we rarely saw this Gentle Soul act this way...and his petulant, "if looks could kill" look that he shoots at someone out in the crowd to the right, followed by the Black Panther fist!....THE MAN WAS LIVID!...I ENCOURAGE YOU TO WATCH THE O2 FOOTAGE AGAIN WITH NEW EYES!!!...and yet Michael seem to still be cognizant that he was on stage in front of fans that adored him and he adored, fans that DIDN'T HAVE ONE SINGLE CLUE as to the nefarious goings on behind what they were seeing....so he pulled it back in....but if you put all these pieces together...piece by piece by piece....it's no less than astounding to me....The Peter Lopez Piece of this is KEY, I tell you....he might have been the only person fighting for MJ at that juncture....against so many who were avidly trying to, I believe,  manipulate/control/manage/force MJ into doing their bidding....and now, as this case spirals into more and more weirdness....and as more and more information is coming to light, in large part, to folks like us who are INTELLIGENT/QUESTIONING/AWARE/NOT BUYING THE BS WE'RE BEING FED....THAT VERY MAN...IS....DEAD!!!! OMG......oh my dear GOD!

MJ reached out to Farrakhan for a reason.  He is a force to be reckoned with.  The nation of Islam don't play.  I believe that Farrakhan would protect MJ if he had too.  I just think MJ finally realized what was happening with his shady management trying to con him and I believe he also realized that Arnie Klein was no good as well and that it is very possible that MJ took matters into his own hands before it was too late.  If I were MJ's family and he was in trouble due to people being greedy I would protect my family as well.  Do whatever is necessary as long as it's not harming anyone physically.

Last night, after my last post, I searched YouTube for more footage that I'd remembered seeing of Michael backstage before his O2 press conference, but I couldn't find what I was looking for...suddenly I remembered where I'd seen it!....in the Special Features section of Disc One of TII...."Staging the Return: The Adventure Begins"....and guess what I found? (and I apologize in advance if this has already been discussed)..... there are scenes of Michael riding in what I call a "golf cart" that takes him to and from the stage....in the footage that shows him coming back to the bus outside, we see the backs of Michael, Thome and Phillips, as the film was shot from behind the cart....Michael appears to be trying to jump out of the cart before it's really stopped...he sits back down...it moves forward some more and then he jumps out and quickly goes up the stairs of the bus...you see his bodyguard, Alvarez, standing by the door of the bus, staring directly into the camera....Thome and Phillips quickly follow MIchael to the bus, but he is up the stairs before they can even reach him...this indicates to me that he wanted to get away from them and this whole experience as soon as he could...also, the back of Michael looks very strange to me....it's more than him being thin and his shirt being too big for him...there is something under that shirt...something padded...something square-ish....perhaps a bullet proof vest?....I know that's a stretch, but I can't figure out what else it could be...also....
as the camera follows the cart to a stop, as Michael gets out, the camera pulls back to reveal none other than MARK LESTER sitting on the BACK of the cart, facing backward (Michael/Thome/Phillips/cart driver were all facing forward)....check out the look on Mark's face....it is patently obvious that he looks VERY unhappy....in fact, he looks VERY WORRIED to me...the looks screams, "OMG....my poor dear old friend is in DEEP SHIT and I am helpless to help him!"....it is so clear that there is more going in in this footage than what is obvious to the casual viewer...if you have this DVD (and I'm sure most, if not all, of you do), please check it out asap and get back to me with your thoughts...why would Mark Lester be there? Simply because he is an old, dear friend of Michael's and Michael is in London?...why would he look so sad then if Michael had simply been announcing his residency at the O2? You'd think Mark would have looked THRILLED, wouldn't you?....after all, that would mean that he and Michael would soon be spending a lot of time together....instead, the man looks very uneasy and unhappy....you know that old saying, "You can't see the forest through the trees"?....apply that here....I think AEG may have underestimated just how astute and discerning we hoaxers can be...we now have in our hands footage that we can watch frame by frame for clues of their subterfuge....it's there, people....it's right there...

Quote from: "Rita Hayworth"

I hope you are right and Peter is not dead, but I have a gut feeling he is gone.  I wonder if he had spoken to the DA and was preparing to speak at the trial.  I am praying about this also.

So, you think MIchael ( and Mark Lester?) were the only ones who knew what will happen in June?

I mean, MIchaels acting was really strwange like "okay I know something you don't but I can't and I' m so sorry...."

But if MIchael was the only one who knew about it, whats with Thome? Is he involved in this hoax or not? I mean,he was at UCLA with Jermaine..

Kirsche....thanks for your question....what I am trying to say is this...after viewing all the O2 footage very carefully and looking at it within the context of that British blog, The Newshound, I feel that Michael Jackson was being forced to commit himself to more performances than he could probably physically have pulled off and all because he had been infiltrated by a group of greedy bastards who were manipulating him left and right....and I believe Thome Thome was at the top of that list...now whether Jermaine knew of Thome's danger to Michael remains to be proved....part of me can't believe he was capable of betraying his brother like that, but sadly, part of me can't shake the thought perhaps he was, in part, a danger to Michael himself....I really can't decide on that and that's mainly because his jealousy of MJ and drive for the spotlight has been evident for years...but in the meantime, I will cut JJ some slack and believe his intentions were good as far as bring Thome into Michael's life....but make no mistake...when I see the top brass of AEG talking, I see nothing but dollar signs in their eyes...particularly Phillips...I think he is a phony and a liar.....and to me, Thome is just plain frightening....and those two are like white on rice on MJ throughout that press conference....Michael's demeanor and strange behavior throughout now seems completely in line with a man being forced to do something against his will....every mannerism that seems "off" about him that day....that makes you question if it's really him....could be attributed to this scenario, IMHO. Thanks for your input.

I also posted this on the other threads about the reasons of this death but also here as you´re talking about the same thing and this is something completing the circle.

Quote
Minamai found this and posted it on the spanish forum. Here you have it translated:

Quote
Another mysterious death about Michael Jackson

The King of Pop felt his lawyer Peter Lopez as a friend with whom she had a close relationship over 20 years. (Supplied)
Monday, May 3, 2010
Melba Brugueras / Primera Hora

Peter Lee, a close friend and personal lawyer of the star Michael Jackson and the Jackson family for more than 20 years, allegedly committed suicide last Friday near his luxury mansion in Encino, California, where the family of the late King of Pop also has a complex.

The problem is that people who belong to the inner circle of the Jackson family and the Lopez family still can not believe that the attorney's death was a suicide.

Peter Lee, one of the most sought after lawyers in the entertainment industry in the United States and Latin America, reportedly was close to granting a very revealing interview about the killing of the King of Pop

Moreover, there are inconsistencies in the versions that have been offered on the death of the lawyer, who was the husband of the star of Dukes of Hazzard Catherine Bach, who bore him two girls.

Some reports indicate that Lopez was found dead by police in Los Angeles in a garden in front of his mansion. Other reports state that was in a garden behind the mansion and others that it was within his residence.

And there are other questions about the number of shots heard by neighbors of the lawyer.

another suicide in relation to Jackson

[youtube:e3a0np8z]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bz0L0tzfC5E&feature=player_embedded[/youtube:e3a0np8z]

If Lopez's death was self-inflicted, then this would be the second suicide that occurs around the King of Pop since his death. The first was that of Evan Chandler, a man who accused Jackson of molesting her son Jordie Chandler in 1993. In fact, this incident caused the cancellation of the concert that the star was scheduled on the island as part of his Dangerous world tour.

Incredulous Maritza Casiano

Whatever the real version of the facts surrounding the mysterious death of Jackson attorney, people who knew Lopez or worked with him are convinced that the lawyer would never have thought about suicide.

"If you had told me that Peter Lee contemplated suicide, had said that it was crazy," he said in an interview with Primera Hora Maritza Casiano producer who, as the producer Angelo Medina, Lopez knew from the singer's glory days Mexican Emmanuel. Casiano also worked with Peter Lopez several issues related to Juan Luis Guerra and Caribbean Records. Throughout his career, the lawyer represented Laura Bozzo, Maná, Whitney Houston, Jennifer Lopez, Andrea Bocelli, Vanilla Ice, The Eagles and Wilson Phillips, among many other artists.

"The last time I saw Peter was in 2006, he went to my office. I remember that day I was well excited that Michael (Jackson) had asked him to take charge of his comeback and was his legal business manager. He also represented Michael in the dispute with Sony and Tommy Mottola. Do not see the sense in all this. Peter was a man secure. I do not believe that he committed suicide, "said Casiano.

Another person who was close to the attorney of the King of Pop was the celebrity commentator Javier Ceriani.

"It was my personal friend for over six years. Peter told me much about his relationship with Michael (Jackson) and the trust it had for him. Michael told me that it was difficult to trust people, but what struck me most was when one day I said to Michael you were giving a lethal injection. That told me a month before Michael died, "Ceriani told to Primera Hora.

"After Michael died, he told me that the world had to know the truth and he always told Michael I had to make a will but that he was annoyed and told him not to talk about it because it was a bad karma. It was as if he knew about some loose ends in the death of Michael "concluded Ceriani.

All this sounds really bad!

Ok..   i have said at the very beginning that this is the real Michael at the O2 and the reason people think its not is because of his behaviour.  And there is a reason for the behaviour.
Regarding the swag walk.. MJ has walked like that before.  Especially during the 2005 trial, he did that walk.

I have heard also, that there were arguments and tensions after the announcements and MJ argued with Thome Thome.  There was also a video which seems to have been removed from youtube which showed Thome Thome shoving Michael on the bus after the announcements..  Michael was at the window waving and Thome Thome pushes him away...  not nice.

Michael did NOT want to do those shows...  who knows for what reason.. maybe he felt pressurised.  Maybe he knew about the ticket fiasco and didnt want his fans fleeced of money.

Michael tried every trick to get out of those shows.. heismypeterpan has said he took weight loss drugs on purpose to fail the medical.   Michael suggested ten shows and to record them and release a DVD.. then when he died, thats what they did anyway. That was NEVER Kenny O's idea.  Kenny smiles too much.. watch the ones with the idle smiles.

Was Michael taking drugs to blot out the pain???   Was he drinking and taking aenesthetic to sleep?  I dont know.. although i wouldnt blame him if he did.  Even his own family were using and abusing him for money.  He must have felt very lonely and unhappy.   I know people dont like bashing the Jacksons on here.. but my thoughts since day one are that his family were NOT there for him.  Karen Faye WAS NOT there for him.  Kenny O WAS NOT there for him..  all they cared about was their own careers and pay packets.   I wish his children had been older.....   God., sorry.. this upsets me.

your right mike was placed in the kill box - but did he escape or is he truly dead i think the latter

but was it accident or design - did murray do the deed intentionally or by malpractice and delivered up to them what is now history

they are like a gang a mob - the funeral - like a mob movie ditto funeral

so who do we see, thome[back head just behind mike], mark lester [im the daddy] and randy phillips - why phillips? so the big guns to get mike there

so dermot said 10 shows, this is usually edited out after the words "that was so weird" but he continues about mj being so near - the king of pop - yes it was unbelievable being so near a living legend and you hugged him.

so from march 3rd was it (?) we have 10 shows, then we have the letter/contract when was that dated(?) to 31 shows, then we had 38 then we had 50 then we had which it always was a 3/4 year world tour.

Dancing the dream - I think you summarized it beautifully. Most of us came here looking for the truth, but as with all truths, sometimes it's not what we want to hear. I think the evidence this week is clear to affirm what you are saying and it's not too hard to understand what was going on the 6 months before Michael died. Can't believe I put it in black and white, but there it is. The only thing left now is how it happened...intentionally or an accident. I also agree with you that the family was not supportive and some may have even been accomplices in his demise. It's just too sad to believe and hard to accept that he died that way. My biggest doubt about it being a hoax was when Stevie Wonder broke down at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame celebration this year. That was real emotion. Stevie Wonder is real. I think I knew it then but didn't want to accept it. There are people who know what was going on and know the truth, but we may never know. May Peter Lopez' death was a warning to everyone to keep quiet.  I think we all want to believe that good prevails and justice wins, but in reality we all know that isn't true.

Thanks for telling it like it is. I needed that---

Michael had a definite "up yours" attitude at the 02 announcement, and I think he wanted the fans to know, that his demeanor had nada to do with them.  He was obviously so fed up with the charade that he had to show it in some way, let us know, something is up, something just ain't right about Michael.  There was an article at one time, don't know if it's still out there, about Michael finishing the announcement and going behind the curtains to find Tohme Tohme about to get physical with someone regarding some of Michael's stuff he was auctioning behind the scene. Triffling assholes. MJ was visibly upset.   About the bullet proof, I have wondered the same thing when watching MJ in This Is It.  I would certainly think that if Michael had been receiving some threats or if he had indicated to them the strong belief that he was being targeted, surely he would have been wearing some kind of protection.  But yeah, Michael was pissed.  You could see it and hear it.  He was pissed, and hell, so was I.

Thank you all for your insightful posts. It is clear as day what was going on now that we look at the O2 announcement in a new way. I for one though, think he could have gotten away from them. He knew people who could help him, I think they did. However, I don't think he'll come back, that's just asking for something bad to happen. He has to appear dead. He can't ever come back unless he is safe, which I'm not sure he ever will be. & If Peter Lopez helped MJ in the dispute with Sony & Tommy Mottolla, he was definitely on a list of people to get rid of. He would be their enemy. I think they either went to him to try to get information about where MJ is & if he is alive. Or they went after him to try to get MJ to come out. MJ could be dead, but I still believe he could have found people to help him get away. & a bullet proof vest could have been used if there was reason to believe they would try to kill him. Perhaps CM was just supposed to keep MJ drugged & he has no idea that this is all a hoax. He didn't give MJ enough to kill him but it's all part of MJ's getaway plan. CM never knew what went on with MJ at the hospital. It could have all been staged or it was a double at the hospital used to throw the bad guys off. It's all like a gangster movie. I truly believe Jermaine thought Thome Thome was helpful or good for MJ but he didn't know what was going on behind the scenes how would he know? Thome Thome was firing people left & right & keeping the family away. I'm sure it wasn't Michael doing that, it was his "adviser" Thome. However, the family probably thought it was Michael doing it because Thome Thome made them think that or told Jermaine that it was Michael. It's all shady. I'm sure that Randy is the only family member who knows something about what was going on though. Perhaps he was at MJ's house to help him plan this. That's why he is so quiet. & some of the family is now clued in I'm sure. They are trying to push for CM to get charged with murder & maybe the bad guys will be exposed during the trial & since it can't be proved that CM murdered MJ, he will not go to prison. Thus, the bad guys will be investigated making CM a fall guy. JMO. It still makes sense, hopefully it plays out that way otherwise MJ is really gone - murderd.    :?

I remember someone saying when MJ was getting out of the bus he fell. Now seeing how things were that day, I think they pushed him out of the bus & were physically making him do the announcement. Especially now that one of you has said that Thome Thome was pushing MJ. & that he tried to hop out of the golf cart but someone made him sit back down. It's all so scary, poor Michael. I can't imagine what other crap he was being put through that we have no way of seeing. It makes me sick. I really hope he got out alive. He was smart & he knew people who could help him, I hope they did. I also hope Jermaine had nothing to do with this & that he either didn't know Thome Thome was bad or he is just playing nice  ;)

Yes but what do we make of the idea that this entire hoax was planned many years ago ? I mean the hints and all the information we have collected has been placed and prepared way before the O2 announcement and even concerts preparation. A lot of us agreed on the fact that Michael had this idea (faking his death) in his mind since years now, so does it still fit in these circumstances ?   :?  :?  :? Or are you heading for Michael is dead now ? (which I don't believe). We are only speculating on the reasons of this "suicide" we don't know if it's true, if it's murder or if he's still alive...and why ? etc...

I'm gonna re-read TS post Greater Proof Hoax, Not Murder. I still believe that Michael is alive. God bless you.

He may have been planning to disappear out of the spotlight at some point. But I think it became a serious situation once these bad people entered or re-entered his life. Before it might have been I want to retire from music & do other things. Now with all of this proof of shady stuff going on, Peter Lopez's death & the trial etc. It became a rescue mission, imo. If he just wanted out of the spotlight, there wouldn't be a trial coming up. I also think the concerts were being planned waaayy before 2009. & he didn't want to so he tried to appear sick. But they kept pushing him to do them. So he agreed to 10. They got greedy & controlling. & he was looking for a way out but they probably threatened him & this all could have started earlier than 2009 or even 2008 for that matter. They are just making us believe it was something he wanted to do & that he was planning it, blah blah blah. The whole "He wanted to do this because his kids are old enough & he's still young enough to do it." thing they all say, to me, is just so that we think they are good guys & that they are doing this for him, etc. When really, they want the money & could care less about the man himself. It's pretty obvious that they are faking it.

I agree on the fact that Michael didn't want to do these shows and I'm well aware that greedy and nasty people are all around him to make as much money as possible no matter what. But I think that this hoax is not just about disappearing from the spotlight, that he planned it since more than 10 years and that the aim is to get to the bottom of things. Maybe they thought they had control on him but in reality it was the contrary.

I really dont know where we're going and I must admit that the death of Mr Lopez has thrown some very bad waves in the story. I hope we'll get more information on that matter.

I read something like this before, I think that was MJ at the O2, not a double, only that he was weird, nervous, he knew that was his last apparence in public, he knew that when he died all the world would see this final speech...
When I look at this I have the same feeling that i have when i look the killer thriller party when he say :
"they don´t think, that this performer, my self, would out think them"... i feel the same when he say : "this is it, this would be my final shows, this is it, and when i say this is it, this is it, because...."
the way he walks.... i see the same at the beggining of this video

I think Michael had future plans to get out of the limelight and do more behind the scene kinda things for a while; however, I have 2 different scenarios for Michael hoaxing his death, and this is one of them.  The other is off a different nature altogether and not suitable for this thread.  However, in both cases, I think the hoax came up as a direct result of things that were happening more recently.  I think once that contract was signed obligating him to those shows, and when he started second guessing and then actually witnessing that these damn people were trying to rob him of all his assets, his health, his career and his life, is when they really started dogging Michael.  Couldn't you sense some tension on the set of This Is It?  It was definitely there.  Truth be told, I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't purposely trying to make him think he was losing his mind, the reason all those sticky notes were found around his home.  I'd go as far as to even not put this pass them, that they had someone shadowing Michael and filling his head with ideas about someone being out to get him, causing paranoia.  I don't put anything past the almighty dollar to a bunch of money hungry leeches.  Poor Michael, I wish I could just give him a hug and rub his feet.

I did notice something on his left palm, but never considered it could have been from a fall! OMG! It is heartbreaking to think he was literally, as well as figuratively, being manhandled behind the scenes like that! Again, OMG! My eyes are welling up right now at the thought of it!

I've thought for some time now that either this is:
A) a hoax that was in place for an entirely reason but changed into a rescue mission to save Michael's life OR
B) he is truly dead. And if that is true? No doubt in my mind WHATSOEVER that it was murder! This was not an accidental overdose. This was not Manslaughter. But whether Conrad Murray was actually the person that killed him, I still can't decide. More and more, he just seems to be a puppet in all this. When you are broke, you are very susceptible and vulnerable to manipulation.

Nobody has commented much about the fact that Mark Lester was on the golf cart too.....what do you all make of that? Did you see his face? He looks MISERABLE! Do you think Michael asked him to be there as his friend because he needed one badly there in London? I see a man that seems helpless to help his friend.

I think Peter Lopez was one of The Good Guys. From everything I've read, those who knew him are not believing it was suicide. Well, that makes it MURDER then. Why would Peter Lopez be murdered? Three reasons:
1) He refused to cooperate with those that are trying to find Michael;
2) He is being used as an example to scare others;
3) He was offed as payback for previous acts that were contrary to what the killers were trying to accomplish;
OR, scariest thought of all....
4) ALL OF THE ABOVE!

Right now, I am praying for two things:
1) That Michael was able to escape all of this somehow and is working behind the scenes to bring these criminals to justice, and
2) That The Truth Will Prevail!

I really feel the most we can possibly hope for here is that Michael is safe....I don't believe he will be if he ever comes out of hiding...this is so damned deep and evil, he couldn't possibly expect to survive a second attempt on his life.

Thank you to all for your incredible insight, opinions and intelligence. I feel as if we've opened Pandora's Box here....

Hesoutofmylife - it's funny that you say that about the movie...after the movie was over I sat there for as long as I could (before the people who clean up came) and all I felt was an extreme sadness. He seemed very unhappy. Nothing about his dancing or singing was the free spirited Michael that so connected with the audience. I bought the DVD. Watched it once and felt the same thing. I picked it up about 2 weeks ago and still felt something was wrong...even Kenny's demeanor with him I thought was condescending. He was the Star and yet he wasn't the Star. We women can sense things long before we have an explanation. I know when something is wrong with my kids before they even tell me. I felt that way watching the movie. I understand your wanting to rub his feet. I felt that same protective feeling when I watched the movie. I just wish others who were able to help him did as well.

The "little girl" in me wants to believe that he is safe and will live in happiness with his children. But the adult in me thinks he was way in over his head with these thugs and he made promises to many powerful people who were not going to let him get out of it. I think in the end, they got their "pound of flesh" if not more. I am also very suspicious of Kenny Ortega. He made a lot of money out of this as well. I'm not sure he was looking after Michaels best interests. I know why Michael hid out in Neverland and didn't want to grow up...

I just watched it again.  When MJ comes back and gives that hard sign and shrugs his shoulders, he seems to be directing it to someone in the audience. There were probably some AEG, SONY or whomever plants in the crowd with the fans to give him the evil eye just in case he got off point or said something misleading.  OMG I hate this. How could they treat him like this after ALL he did for them? Stupid question.  MONEY AND GREED.

Kenny was very condescending which I could tell was making Michael quite uncomfortable.  I have never trusted Kenny Ortega and his sudden love for Michael Jackson.  I just don't buy it.  I think he is just as much of a snake as any of the lot of them.

Since we're exchanging insights, what if Conrad Murray is telling the truth? Maybe he didn't give Michael anything that would kill him...but someone else did. It would be very possible to do something to Michael while he was "out of it" and while Murray left the room. Whatever happened the night of the last rehearsal may have been enough so that they knew Michael wasn't going to go through with it or couldn't go through with it. I hope these are some of the "surprises" that come out at the trial...if we an expect justice. I will have to relook at the autopsy report although I don't know how accurate that is.

I cant shake that feeling with Murray...  that either he was being paid to do it, or he didnt do it...   something isnt right about the story we are being told about him.   I dont know what it is....

"Rogue Bodyguard"....That's an interesting idea, awesome1...but somehow, when I read that phrase, my mind jumped more to a Rogue Bodyguard (AKA ALVAREZ!) helping Michael "escape" vs. implementing his actual death....clearly, Alvarez is up to his NECK in this in some way...was clearly on the "front lines" of this battle...he was the 911 caller for God's sake!....I know I may reading waaaay too much into every detail of the Backstage O2 footage we've all been discussing, but look at him again by the door of the bus...this was not a joyous/happy/celebratory moment over the Return of the King AT ALL...he is staring down the cameraperson taking this footage...perhaps the evil ones got to him....or perhaps he stayed loyal to Mike...we don't know this yet...what DO we know then?...we know that his wife reported him missing for a few days after Michael's death...on the one hand, that could easily just be attributed to him just being upset that Michael died on his watch and holing up somewhere, but not to tell your wife where you are?....do they have kids?....if so, a father wouldn't do that, would he?...or he could have been SCARED SHITLESS OF certain people...like, Get the Hell Out of Dodge Til We See How This Plays Out....but here is another detail that I've posted before without too much response...it has been shown here on this forum that the there was more than one 911 call....that one of those calls (the first perhaps?) was actually shown on the EMT's screen as coming from the address of the Beverly Hilton Hotel...so what does this mean?...then it was suggested that the cell tower in that area is atop that hotel and that's why the call appeared to be eminating from there....but if you go back and look at the timeline...completely verified by video taped interviews....Frank Dileo admits ON TAPE to a timeline that supports that he was at that hotel at the exact time of that phone call....hmmmmm....I really don't want to think that Frank is involved in The Dark Side of this....I know he had Michael's back for years...but let me remind you of the mantra that should NEVER be far from our minds as we investigate this..."FOLLOW THE MONEY"....there is PLENTY of evidence...video taped evidence....showing some questionable practices by him in the last 6 months that Michael was alive...many questions with no answers...I could completely buy the notion that he was finally bought off to betray Mike...there are too many holes in his story that don't add up...even Alvarez could have succumbed to that temptation, I suppose...if even part of this is actually true, this does not bode well for our belief that Michael is still among the living...but I hold out hope that he was able to find the help he needed to escape....I think it really came down to an escape...and how ironic that he actually wrote a song with the same title and message....soooo spooky and if not, one HELL of a kawinky-dink!

Well if i remember correctly Thome hired Alvarez so whose side do you think he was on
(if we're going with the "Murray didn't give MJ anything that should have killed him so who did?)
About Dileo being or not being on "the dark side" well  he got MJ into so much trouble regarding the Allgood entertainment contract , because it was Dileo that signed for that...
I'm still on the fence about this being it though, i have faith that MJ got help and got out,
this just prevents him from coming back anytime soon. Until there has been a trial, or unless the greedy basterds slip up big time with MJ's estate and money so they can be brought down, i don't think we should expect him back.

I can't help but wonder if everything mentioned in that Newshound blog are true... If they are, to me, that would mean Michael might have had a serious drug problem, poor angel  :( . It would explain why no new music was released, I wouldn't be so blunt as to call it "laziness" though  :x . He did look like he was on something a few times during interviews, or was he just sad? His eyes just looked so sad sometimes...  :(

Around 2001 is when he starts to look like he's on something...especially at the NYC Invincible album promotion and at his 30th anniversary concerts. Either he's on something or he simply doesn't want to be there. I'm wondering if this is the point where he loses all interest in doing public performances. He has his children and so I would totally understand wanting to spend more time with them. In one interview with the Rabbi he says "they" won't let him do the things he wants to do, like spend more time on his charities. Unfortunately, I think he was a cash cow and no one was going to let him not perform if there was the possibility of making a kigililion dollars. I also believe he was not broke or if he was then someone stole a lot of money from him. I read somewhere that he made $12M a year from royalties. That cannot be right, not with the catalog he owned. If he spent a lot money, I think it's because he knew what he was worth. I think that they were either stealing from him or making him think he was broke so he would work. It was an impossible situation. He could not trust anyone, not even his own family.   There are too many things that others have said that don't fit. You can't be a doting father and be on drugs. Drug addicts do not have relationships...except with drugs or alcohol or whatever they get high on. That's a fact. You can't be knowledgeable about health and supplements, etc. and not let your children have sugar and then go without eating. I think sometimes we think there is a double because it's almost like 2 different personalities. After almost a year, we still don't really know the real michael. That is what brings me back here....who is the real Michael? I think you're right...this concert thing goes back to 2008 or even 2007. It's almost like they stalked him to commit. We may never know the truth.

Even if he didn't have a drug problem before this, he would certainly need a few nerve pills  to deal with all the slime that was surrounding him.  If he was taking any drugs, I can certainly understand why.  Shoulda had some good weed and a ride or die girl.  Then he wouldn't have needed any pharmaceuticals. I'm just saying :?

Hello again! I watched the backstage footage again on the DVD of TII/Disc One, "Staging the Show/The Adventure Begins" and found one more interesting thing to share....the part when Michael is onstage and toward the end, shoots a really pissed off look to someone out in the audience and then gives the Black Panther fist and cocks his head back in anger?....that is NOT included on the DVD footage...that can only be found on YouTube....so ask yourself....why would that footage be edited out?....hmmmmmm.....perhaps to portray Michael as being nothing but thrilled to be there?...I'm telling you....he most certainly WAS NOT THRILLED to be there....I believe he was THREATENED to be there....and Thome Thome was literally within arms length at all times....perhaps that is why Michael appears to be wearing a bullet proof vest under his shirt....I think he really feared for his life that day....and not from some overzealous fan....is it possible that Thome Thome could have made MJ believe that if he didn't do as they said that he could be assassinated like John Lennon? Perhaps that is to whom his angry look was directed....some faceless, anonymous person planted in the audience to intimidate Mike....if you stop to think about this, it is totally within the realm of possibility, Folks! JMHO! Peace to all!

Yes it is and probably the main point of the hoax if the truth be known.

Yes, Datroot, very well said....and I believe that day of the O2 Press Conference is our clue as to when Michael's long-planned/waiting in the wings Death Hoax Contingency Plan began to kick into high gear...the writing was on the wall for him that day....he realized that he had to let the Evil Ones think he was dead....let them think they were getting one over on him and even his estate beyond that....he knew the time had finally come to go underground and "outthink them"....we're talking about a GENIUS here...truly and completely....an EFFING GENIUS! In this footage, I see a man who is simultaneously BLOWN AWAY by the love of his fans and PISSED AS HELL that he was being manipulated, pillaged and used once again to make EVERYONE AROUND HIM RICH...and by whom? It's obvious....by THOSE VERY FANS HE ADORES!! The injustice of that juxtaposition is astounding, when you think about it...THIS IS IT>>>>>This was the impetus...right then and there, I believe....that set the Death Hoax into actual motion....as always, JMHO....Peace!

Wow! Thanks so much OP! I can see now why I thought this wasn't MJ at o2! It wasn't the way he looked it was his demeanor. He looks pissed.

It seems every time he gets a hateful look on his face he's sure to tell his fans "I love you"

Like to say.. It's not you.. Sorry I'm not myself right now.. But know ghat I do love you!

He storms off that bus!

Hi All,

I'm not sure if this has been discussed elsewhere, I'm sorry if it has, but I would like to know if anyone has come across photos from the O2 announcement that were taken by a fan...when watching the video you see numerous fans with camera's but I have not seen any footage of photos by fans from that day, except the ones taken by the media??? :?:

Thanks

I don't know about photos taken by fans but several months ago we came across to a video of 02 announcement  made by a random fan, and i agree, it was obvious from the very start that Michael was not in his usual tense that day, his behaviour looked odd, i have seen both "Dangerous" and "History" tours' announcements, he gave a long speech during the announcements, was awesome, not like in "This Is It" when he kept on saying only"This is it, this is really it. when i say this is it, i mean this is really it....", it was obvious that Michael was irritated, confused and didnt want to do the announcement, AEG simply cheated him and i think he took the revenge.Michael is smarter than we think.

What an interesting thread.  So if it is an accurate analysis, who here thinks he's dead, and who thinks he planned the "death"?

Was This is it still planned by MJ do you think?  Some don't trust Kenny O, but I thought he seemed very sincere. Maybe the death was planned, and TII was revenge if a film version was what MJ wanted originally. I mean, the Gilda movie scene might be a clue to us but also a slap in the face to those who wanted the money...?  To sort of say "ha ha, you didn't get what you wanted and I didn't really die..."  And why else would MJ use so many graphic things like Gilda, and the Earth Song footage with the girl, and especially him talking about trees and the planet on it, if it wasn't planned?  Would all that happen in a regular concert?

And do you guys still believe it was MJ on Larry King Live as Dave Dave? If so, would this be somehow related to revenge, and a joke played on his enemies?

Sorry I'm still slightly confused.  :?

Thank you! This is what I've been thinking now for quite a few months and I've stated this in my posts lately: It's payback time for Michael.

It really seems to me, that he has set up his enemies to deliver the sh** themselves - ALL without him doing ANYthing. It would suit his sharp mind, that Dieter Weisner detected in him: having his enemies bring themselves in situations which will cost their job/position/public image.

And there lies the big difference: When his enemies believe he died, they WILL show their true intentions and they will eventually publically be ruined. I can only imagine Diane Diamond, who is so sure about herself, being totally dumbfounded, when she learns her carreer of lies is over. The magic of MJs mind is really, that he doesn't even have to DO something but having to die for ALL his enemies to come crawling out the caves.
DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?? :)

It does make sense.  But the only thing is, how exactly do you think their their true intentions come out?

I remember in the Michael Jackson Tapes book (whether it's true or not) apparently back in 2001 MJ could clearly see Britney Spears would overexpose herself to the public and destroy her image.  Schmuley pointed out that this was years before she shaved her head and all this other trouble.  MJ knew.  It made me see other celebs you hear about a lot differently; will they end up the same? Did MJ's theory apply to most or all celebs who overexpose?  MJ knew the power of mystery, and he knew how to apply it to keep people interested. He knew The Jacksons tv series from 1976-7 would be too much exposure and the show wouldn't be a hit.  Sure enough the ratings were crap.  Apparently he told staff in later years not to even mention that "stupid tv show" to him.

I have the series myself and I love watching it because he's in it and he's amazing as ever in it, and some parts are funny but aside that the show itself is a bit ridiculous lol.

Here it is, thank you.

It is apparent from reading back over this that Michael gave that 0-2 speech the way he wanted to give it and not the way he was probably “instructed” to give it, the “planned” speech.  He did it his way and it allowed his fans to see and recognize that something was wrong.  Michael knows that his fans know him well, and that in doing the announcement so out of character for our Michael Jackson, would alert us should ANYTHING go awry.  It did.  And we were and still are on it.  He was calling his army to attention.  Preparing us.  He knew there were going to be problems, and perhaps this was his way to warn us so that when it went down,  we wouldn’t just accept it at face value.  It worked.

Why not just tell people I'm an alien from Mars? Tell them I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight. They'll believe anything you say, because you're a reporter. But if I, Michael Jackson, were to say, "I'm an alien from Mars and I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight," people would say, "Oh, man, that Michael Jackson is nuts. He's cracked up. You can't believe a single word that comes out of his mouth."

Not a tour announcement, but a business venture.

I haven’t been able to find any, so much Michael material has been removed from the net.  However, whenever Michael spoke to his fans to announce anything, make a speech, make a donation, on stage anywhere, any time, his demeanor was always the same; caring, bashful, loving.  This was definitely not normal. And it was obvious.

Good observation, hesouttamylife.

The Kingdom Entertainment video above illustrates the contrast between MJ's demeanor at the 02 press conference (sunglasses and theatrics) versus his demeanor at other major press conferences.  At the Kingdom press conference is a more natural MJ who is straightforward and business-like.  Interesting goals are mentioned at the Kingdom conference too.

To be honest the first times I watch this video I thought it wasn't him (maybe a impersonator pretending to be him) because of the way he walked towards the stage, and then how he was on stage.

But sure, if he was sorta angry and/or upset and knew something that we "don't", as, I am gonna fake my death.
Then maybe that was his angry walk, lol. How he acts when he is upset and have had enough.

i really dont know. But it can explain some things for myself.

I always have been convinced that Michael don't wanted to do those shows and your post confirms  once again my thoughts.   Michael has done well to disappear ... they would have done more harm, than those who already had suffered. But Michael will be back in two years because,in these two years he finally understood who really loves .. bearhug ... Yes....Keeph the faith....we are not alone !!! mj_dance/

I do agree about the obvious demeanor of showing he's pissed and defiant about being forced to do the shows, and possible link to Peter Lopez's murder in that they are telling MJ that they mean business. But on the other hand, reading between the lines, when I see the 02 announcement I see MJ as he is in some of his videos such as Ghost, where he is also confident, defiant and ACTING. So I see the 02 MJ, as performing for us on stage, and not his sweet shy natural personality as he is in interviews or accepting awards etc. He has purpose here, it is setting the stage for the hoax/Thriller 2 movie, magician's introduction. You don't think they (the ones pushing him to do concerts) have only now been pushing him, or only now he's decided to assert his rebellion. No, both of those things have been going on since he was a little kid, but he's bringing those aspects out deliberately perhaps, as this hoax is the culmination of his career, and his life, "The Greatest Show on Earth".
