Rebbie is taking the stage on Saturday April 24 when she headlines "A Nod to Greatness: Motown and More", a concert also featuring former Temptations lead singer Damon Harris and his tribute band at Lackawanna College's Mellow Theater.

And Rebbie is opening up on her brother's death in interviews. “My brother had a problem with drugs, and he was in denial,” Rebbie says. “There were many interventions by the family members, and I was involved in a lot of that. It was such a sad thing and it hurt so bad. And she says she has no plans to release another one any time soon, but is hoping for a reunion tour with her siblings.

I just don't get why all of a sudden the Jackson's are saying that Michael had a problem with drugs, when before no one ever saw him being under the influence.  They certainly are a big help to CM's defense in blaming the victim.

Will we ever know the truth? Janet and Rebbie saying YES! All of this Before the trial! Guys it just does not look good for the HOAX? DId or DIDNT MJ have a problem with drugs which is it! I am confused on this. Many interventions? I just don't get it?

DId the Jackson brothers confirm that MJ had problem with drugs on their reality show or Larry King? I forget.

I think they are talking about drugs because I believe this entire hoax is connected to a DEA drug sting.  I think that after Anna Nicole's death and Heath Ledger's death, Michael decided to "make a change" and bring down criminal doctors having struggled with an addition to pain killers himself for chronic pain.

The song "Bad" is about bringing down the criminal and the corrupt.

You're doin' wrong, gonna lock you up before too long.
Because I'm bad, I'm bad, I'm really, really bad.

Who's Bad?  Michael JOE Jackson!    ;)

Lisa Marie's twitter:  June 25th  When Michael used it for something good, it was good, but when he used it for something bad, it was really, really bad.  I take this to mean the hoax.  Michael is using his celebrity for something really, really bad.  A play on words relating to the song "Bad."

All "Bad" Era photos used at Memorial ending with Liberian Girl (the director)
Funeral photo:  Liberian Girl, Come Together, from the "Bad" era, TII dancers in custom made Victory Tour Jackets.

Who's Bad?  Michael JOE Jackson  He is "bad" because he is going to be the victor against the evil.  He is changing the world by bringing down the criminal doctors, the media, and God knows who else!  We will have to wait until he reveals it all.   ;)

I am more fascinated that yet another long lost Jackson family member is seeking the spotlight and returning to the entertainment business. Rebbie had a small hit song during the 70s but she soon dropped out of sight. Everyone seems to making a career comeback these days thanks to MJ.

I have to agree with you. First they never saw him on drugs. No they KNOW he was on drugs and had a problem.

OK....time for me to open up about myself.  I am addicted to pain medication, and I am a former alcoholic of 20 years.

So if you need to know anything about addiction, ask me....I am also from a family of 8 children, and I am the 7th youngest.  I am 45 yo...My family knew about my alcohol addiction, and that was quite obvious.  But since being sober for 8 years now, I have instead chosen to take lots of pain meds to make me feel good.  This is not obvious to my family or friends at all.  So it's quite easy to hide it if you need to.  Most of my pill taking is at night, to help me sleep, and to help me feel relaxed.   Feel free to ask me any quesions......(Phew, I did it.  I told the truth)...As always, with L.O.V.E  xox

Yes, I know it's bad, and everyday I tell myself, this will be the last day.  I can function very normally.  When you taken analgesics and codeine and paracetemol, a trick is to drink COKE, because it stimulates the metabolism and gives you more of a buzz.  Most of my pill taking is of the evening, but I do not Dr shop.  I am on valium, and I also take 10 strong pain meds with it and then take 10 phenergan as well, all at once and in the evening so I can sleep.  I have trouble sleeping.  So, not saying MJ was a drug addict, just saying you can function normally during the day, but only take them at night when you are home alone, and nobody would know the difference.  I wake up feeling very normal.  I just wanted to share this because I hope it will be of help for the hoax debunking.

Rebbie is probably just been forced to speak this time, as the other family members are probably sick of having to lie in public again.

But I agree that it is so strange that the families testimonies go against justice for MJ.  As always, with L.O.V.E  xox

hey 2good2btrue!!
thank you for sharing with us..i know that had to be hard to do..congrats on being sober with alcohol..
please be safe with the pill taking..with most addicts there is a underlying problems that one is trying to block out..dont want to face.. so take alcohol or drugs to numb this pain..often at times one will gain control over one problem by switching to another form of addiction..there is a lot of pain in this world..let alone the pain one can feel inside..i wont ask you what all you take and how much...but it does worry me..i do understand...and if you need to talk i am here..please try to remember when you have that pill in your hand that there are many people that love you very much and people that care and that if anything were to happen to you it would hurt them dearly and deeply..
please note that im not judging you at all and never would im not that kind of person..
just make a note that people do care and you are loved
if you want and since you beat one addiction you can beat this one as well..
huggs to you
suzz
you can PM anytime...

about the OP..some family members do not believe in taking anything for pain..and if you do so even if you just take one pill they think your an addict..just some family think and believe different when it comes to pain medication or any medications at that..ok im done lol
huggs to all

I had trouble sleeping after my mother died.....Thanks to all of you.for your kind words and support .  I consider you all friends and  family now.  Please remember that I can answer any questions about this issue in regards to MJ.  I have been abused by my father when I was young, I have also been sexually abused by my former primary school teacher, and have been raped.!!!!  So I am aware of pain and blocking it out.

I believe MJ could have been on some pain meds to deal with real pain, but like myself, eventually you can become dependant on them.  I had surgery once and needed to take strong pain medication, and then I liked the way it made me feel.

I don't believe MJ would use propofol at all.  There are so many other forms of sleeping aids, and propofol is not one of them.  Most addicts choose readily available medication in the form of pills.  MJ had a needle phobia!!!  Propofol is given intravenously, not orally.  I know he could have been addicted at some point but I dont believe he would use something like propofol, because it is too dangerous and actually stops you breathing......I think of my child all the time, and what if something happenned to me!!  I am a single mother of a 7 yo boy.  This is my opinion.  As always, with L.O.V.E  xox

explain to me this feeling you like... and one question. is this pain you are experiencing due to the blame you put on yourself for the past pains you had no control of? I say this with all love, please love yourself just as much as you love others. let the pain go!  ;)

I have forgiven myself and the others that hurt me.  I spent 6 mths in rehab. and had to deal with all of this.  But I still can't cope with not sleeping.  I use over the counter meds because it just lets me sleep straight away.  MJ has alot of problems too.  Fame is a terrible place to be, with everyone watching every move you make.  Imagine being him for a day.  I just cant imagine him putting his children though that.

So back to the topic of Is MICHAEL JACKSON A DRUG ADDICT??????  My answer is.............
Addiction is about CONTROL.  When your life in other areas are out of control, there seems like the only one thing you can control, is what you put into your body.

That's the real reason.  Not because of the way it makes you feel.  ITS BECAUSE YOU JUST WANT TO ESCAPE FROM ALL THE PAIN FOR A WHILE.  Michael is only human, but I don't think he would hurt his children like that.  Propofol is a death sentance.  He still had 3 beautiful reasons to want to be here.  And I have one!!!  My beautiful son.

addiction is not about control. it's more like losing control. an addict is not in control. the high is in control. the drug (whatever method chosen) is in control, especially when you need it. i often would read a self help book or spiritual book when i have bouts of insomnia  :geek:

ok, as this is playing out we can expect CM won't be charged on June 14th after all MJ is a druggie there ya have it. All the family is basically "helping" Murray a lot he's gonna get off the hook. He cannot be charged for a death that didn't happen. It fits if you see all the family oh yes Mike he was a druggie that in turn helps Murray therefore June 14th we don't have a case let's all go home and have KFC. Mike gots it's all down to the last detail and then BAM perhaps bam on June 14th or sometime around that date still won't get my hopes up too high, but we want you back Mike. Why on earth would we want a reunion without the MAN it makes no sense he's got a lovely family although like in every family they've got flaws, but hey we want that reunion but with Mike

I very rarely log in and make posts here but I read and respect the hard work on this forum.
I just read your post and I really want you to know that you are very courageous to write  your problems here and with so much honesty.  I understand what you mean about Control . I am glad of your strong feelings towards your child - your child clearly brings you back to reality and how much they need you - I hope you have a lot of support as you have been through some very traumatic ordeals in your life and should be proud that you have got through them. Those kind of memories take a lot of dealing with and coping with so I really just wanted you to know that admitting you have had a problem is a very brave thing to do and telling everyone also.  I am thinking of you and send you strong thoughts of comfort and hope that you can conquer any problem or even fears if they are still with you. I also think you are very special.

Much love

I felt it was time to share my experiences because Michael Jackson is also human.  The statistics show that 1 in 10 people suffer from some sort of addiction.  I wanted to share this because I feel Michael has been labelled a "Drug Addict: for too long.  He is Michael Jackson, not a drug addict. He had many real medical problems, that needed pain management.

In his 2005 trial, many other children came forward and stated they were also abused by him.  They knew there was an opportunity to cash in because by that stage, the whole world thought he was a peodophile and went in for the kill, even though they were lying.

The family and other associates,  seem to be doing the same thing.....the only way this makes any sense, is if they are playing some sort of role, in relation to the 2005 trial.   They are confirming the lies that the world already believe, due to the media.  How can that be an advantage to finding the real truth????  Maybe it's all a set up, to catch all the enablers.  I'm still confused about this one!!!!   As always, with L.O.V.E xox  (I am strong and I will beat this)  xoxox

:geek: i hope i am not misunderstood. personally i feel that all adults have problems, and we all have ways to deal with our problems. (i also believe everyone is addicted to something, and it doesn't have to be drugs, it can be sports, love, music, sex, exercise, image or whatever, so this all is quite normal to me)  i grew up during the crack era  and I have seen drugs and abusers almost my whole life, and one thing i notice about substance abusers is that they are filling a void or running from something. (can you see my professional therapist training shining through? lol) I only comment on this topic because I know when someone is ready to talk about their issues, they are ready for change, and maybe being on this site, can be quite helpful  :)  :)  :geek:

This is so amazing to me.
First Janet talks about her brothers death laughing and smiling
saying that is how she handles pain.
Jermaine says Michael was find when he went to the airport when he was so supposed to be at the hospital!!!
Latoya says he was killed but want say by who.
They saw the ambulance pictures but said nothing about them being fake.
They come to his house that morning to take sheets out of the house and what else no one knows.
NO ONE SAID HE WAS ADDICTED TO DRUGS UNTIL 10 MONTHS LATER JUST BEFORE THE TRIAL.
WOW!! WOW!!WOW!!!
SO THE LAST TIME HE HAD PROBLEMS WITH DRUG ADDICATION FOR PAIN ELIZABETH TAYLOR HELPED MiCHAEL GET TO A CLINIC TO HELP HIM WITH THIS PROBLEM.
SO WHERE WAS ELIZABETH?????
SHE IS SPEAKING ABOUT A REUNION WHILE RIGHT NOW THERE IS A MAN WHO KILLED HER BROTHER ON TRIAL. WHERE IS THE LOVE! PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME HERE!
EITHER MICHAEL IS ALIVE AND THEY ALL DO NOT KNOW IT OR HE IS DEAD AND HAD NO FRIEND OR FAMILY TO HELP HIM.
SO IF HE HAS GONE TO THAT PLACE OF BLISS THAN THAT IS BEAUTIFUL BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE WE ALL ARE GOING AND I SEND LOVE TO HIM
BUT FOR SOME REASON I FEEL HE IS NOT DEAD AND IS GONNA SHOCK HIS FAMILY, FRIENDS,
EMEMIES AND FANS ALL OVER THE WORLD.

2good2btrue thanx to be so open with us, God bless u ,and help to get over it :) We are all with u, i know what it means to lose someone dear to u.

So The Jacksons are contradicting themselves or playing with the media- at first they all said that they were not aware that Mike was an "addict", no way, and now they all began to contradict themselves saying just the opposite! and it is just before Murray's trial. On one hand if this is not a hoax(and i strongly believe that it is), their announcements will help Murray to be justified and to portray Michael as a drug addict, but on the other hand, if this is a hoax, they are doing a great job, this is the only way that Michael can help Murray to be justified and go on with his life. I just believe and hope that the 2nd version is the most plossible one.

Seriously. I hadn't heard sh*t about Michael's "addiction" from his relatives before..
They should have been there more.
Whenever my super lactose-intolerant friend holds a chocolate to her mouth,
I'll literally slap it outta her hand. But she's just my friend. I'd be a lot stricter if she were family.
If my sister was an addict of ANY kind, I'd help her through it.
Not sit there and.. how do you say.. "Picarse el culo"?
Ugh.

If I hear or read the word "intervention" one more time, I'm going to puke into someone's face.

How did they try to intervene? Via txt once a year?

totally agree. if they were that desperate to intervene, there are other forceful (albeit, publicly damaging) ways to make him go to rehab. yes, you can only lead a horse to the water....but you lead that horse to the water so many damn times that eventually it will drink. if he was my family member, and -if like they claim- i wasn't let inside, i'd stand outside every day until he saw me. and i mean it. from morning to night.

I tagree -  this plays into Michael's hoax plans beautifully.  CM won't be convicted and no one will go to prison for a crime that wasn't committed.  What a genious plan by a genious man.

If this turns out to be real and true, I will hate those back stabbers forever.  If it was a family secret, since it's obvious their interventions didn't get any further than the living room, geez  , then that's where the secret should have damn stayed, in the freakin family. What good does it do Michael's legacy to open up that can of worms now?

That's how I feel too.  I don't like to say anything unkind about the Jackson family, but they should have let it be instead of defaming Michael after all he went through when he was here.  It makes it unbelievable.  It makes about as much sense to me as Sony Bono's wife's little speech after his "accident".  I don't think Michael was a god and I'm not some fan in denial - I just didn't see evidence in his organs and he wasn't eating his scripts like candy.

We will have to wait until he reveals it all.   ;)

One of the best statements I've read in a long time. Thanks for stating this.

Thanks again for your Love and support.  Since hearing about MJ's ?death? it opened my eyes about just how dangerous it is.  I am cutting back now, because of him.

As and addict, you would do absolutely anthing to get the drugs you need.  Including lying about your problem when confronted by family or friends.  Addiction is not a choice as many people think.  Once you're hooked, you need it more.  Because you can look normal when under the drugs, it's really hard to tell if that person has a problem.  From what we are hearing from the family, MJ was addicted to pain medication, and would use what he could to help him sleep.  Remember that the pain meds make you drowsy, and unable to think clearly.  Propofol, on the other hand, is not a pesription drug, so you can't put that in the same catergory.

Why did MJ choose propofol, still baffles me considering the many risks involved.  When you are on the meds, you are very sleepy, but relaxed.  It is dangerous to operate machinary, drive or make important decisions, or sign any documents.    Unless of course, this is all made up by MJ.  As always with L.O.V.E  xox

Paula C.  Yes I have tried other methods, but seem to keep going back to the ones I know will help me instantly.  I don't really believe Michael had a serious problem.  I believe he relied on medication to take his real pain away, and was scared to not have them readily available.  He seemed to have alot of them in stock, so this would suggest that he tried hard to hide them, but knew that the medications were there if he needed them.  It's like a security blanket.

Did I miss something about Rebbies announcement?  A reunion tour???  Hmm that sounds fishy.   As always, with L.O.V.E  xox

Michael's unconditional love for his family is unbelievable/incomparable. Since JUNE 25, there's so much(overly) info/news feeds about MJ's family & they keep on using the words"WE ARE A FAMILY" like they have to say it in public to make it real & they are riding also on the FAN'S LOVE for Michael for I don't know what agenda they have under their sleeves.
IMHO ;)  ;)  ;)

I don't know what to think about all of this.  I just watched Rebbie on the Today show this morning.  She seems so down to earth and totally likeable.   I don't know, but to just listen to her, she seems truthful.  LaToya, you never know what's true or false coming from her.  Same with the brothers.  But listening to Rebbie, if I wasn't watching, I would swear it was Katherine talking.  She sounds just like her, IMO.

But what I did find interesting in her interview was when she was asked about the criminal investigation.  She had a sort of a grin on her face and said she couldn't talk much about it, other than some "interesting" things will be revealed, or come out of it.    Why the grin?  Just like all the family, they know things but they can't talk about it.

Seems to be pointing to a hoax, but I just can't see this hoax being a hoax and MJ never resurfacing in the public again.  If that be the case, why leave any clues at all?  If everything was not so mysterious, people would accept the death and he could really go on without people wondering and looking for clues.  So, I believe he will resurface at some point.  And I don't think it will be in four or five years.  More sooner than that.  That's just my opinion.

Michael, I wish you would come back soon.  We miss you soooooo much!!!!!

I just find it interesting that any of them have yet to say anything about the hoax sites or anything. Maybe they did and I didn't know anything about it. I don't watch very much t.v. last night I was watching one of the late nite shows I saw Brooke Shields. Mind you, she wasn't on Dave Letterman, it was another guy who has an english accent. I forgot his name, but anyways, she was one of the people at his memorial. I was surprised that, MJ wasn't even mentioned.

I find the whole thing with Brooke Shields strange.  First, as far as I know, they were an item (if that is what you care to call it) during the 80s.  Snce then, he was married twice and her as well.  So, why would she give a rather long speech at the memorial?  It was quite lengthy, I thought.  Interesting, but sort of long for someone who probably wasn't part of his life for a long time.

And I agree about the family never mentioning anything about the hoax, whether it is, or it isn't.  Like they don't even know about it.  And you know they know.  The only remote thing I ever heard was Jermaine tweeted something about he doesn't like to talk about conspiracies

2good2btru you´re so brave!
To agree with you on this I can tell that even high sugar doses consumption can provoque those ups and downs, they are also very bad for brain, many people do so, and many of them have even behaviour and personality problems, and most of the people don´t even realize.

I´m not saying it´s the same... but I think it also makes understandable how this can work.
On the other hand, I don´t believe MJ is/was an adict.

The family is always saying that Michael was in denial, but that is very untrue!! He admitted his problem of prescription drugs for the world to see! How is that denial?
