This Is It odd Special Feature
April 06, 2010, 03:18:32 PM
I recently purchased the This Is It Blu-Ray DVD for my little bro (he's been beggin me to buy it 4 him for a while now). Well, I was watchin the makin of Smooth Criminal Special Feature and at one Point Kenny Ortega is watching the finished short and he exclaims "This is fuckin awesome" only to turn around afterwards and quickly cover his mouth in an oops gesture. He mumbles something along the lines of "I''m not allowed to say Fuck, am I?" Immeadietly this struck me as really strange. It's a PG film, rite...so naturally Fuck wouldn't be allowed in it...implying that he was aware that the footage would be used to make a concert film.  Of course, it didn't make it into the film and ended up in the special features with the F Bomb Bleeped out...but at the time he didn't know that. Could this be proof that maybe MJ really is still out there?

There are many reasons for this.
These were michaels last concerts and this wouldve been used as bonus footage on a DVD anyway. Secondly mike didn't like swearing supposedly so that couldve been why.

Bonus footage is NOT rated so that would explain it

Bonus footage is NOT rated so that would explain it

on whole any bonus features ARE rated, If this particular interview was included on a separate disc and the language not censored then it would have been rated a 12 (UK rating) overall, even though the film itself was a PG. Each disc carries it's own rating. The film disc would be PG and the extra disc would be 12, so therefore an overall rating would be 12. Becuase the language was censored and is wholly inclusive to one disc, the overall rating can remain as a PG. There would be no point in including the uncensored language and making the single disc Blu-Ray a 12, whilst the DVD would remain as a PG, becuase this particular interview is not included with the two disc or one disc DVD version

Yes, what I posted is indeed true. If u doubt it then feel free to watch the Smooth Criminal special feature if u have the DVD at home. And the thought did occur to me that maybe he said oops because MJ doesn't like cursing, but I still had to post it on here because it could still be a clue.

I believe that there are rarely any coincidences in life.

oh yea this is true i remember watching it on my this is it blu-ray...IMO the reason he said oops and stuff is just as likely 2 be wat u said or wat the others said...so cud be clue or not :? ..wen i saw it i ddnt think it was strange or think abt it cos i was watching a documentary FILM..which is rated..but i ddnt remember that it wasnt SUPPOSED 2 be a film at the time this was taped..so very good thinking :) :) i never thought of that
and also there are lots of films i've seen where the bonus material is not rated so..yea..

On the back of mine it says BONUS FOOTAGE NOT RATED
That is how it is in Canada anyhow
Usually applies for other DVD's as well.
At least here...
