If you were looking forward to hearing songs recorded by Will.I.Am and Michael Jackson, it looks like it will be years, if ever, before those recordings are heard.

Speaking of his time working with the late King of Pop, Black Eyed Peas member and producer Will.I.Am, told press "it's not right" to release the music.

"I’m not gonna release it. I don’t think it’s fair to release unfinished material to capitalize on him passing. It’s not right," says Will.I.Am. "We didn’t put it out when he was alive so why should we put it out now that he’s gone?"

The Grammy winner had recorded six songs with Jackson just prior to his death in June (2009).

That is awesome!!! I am glad that someone can see that Michael is not a money maker.  It's about time someone steps up and does things the right way.

Will.i.am is a great artist & respected Michael, I expect a blast of many new tracks when Michael comes back, he was working with many artists since the trial.....little sample on the net Michael if you please  ;)

I can see why this is a good thing and that Will.I.Am is honoring his friend..   but i still cant help but think it would be a great loss to keep these recordings locked up in a cupboard somewhere, gathering dust..  when all the fans would love to hear MJs voice and creativity on new tracks.    :?
Why deny the World that talent?

because it's a backstabbing thing to do. The only one as of now, who could suggest what should be done with the music is his mother. And right now I doubt if she wants to discuss such things

I respect Will as well for not wanting to profit off of Michael's name. But on the other hand, he could always have the proceeds to a charity that Michael loves or have the money go to MJs estate so that his kids could have it...Idk...

Shortly after MJ "died" Will said he was going to release them but not profit from them. I like that Will isn't releasing them now, he respected MJ and I respect him for not releasing these songs. He's a good man.
