Re: Jackson's Encino home for sale ?

The LAPD could have just made a mistake. If it is the case and the home is rented, how would the LAPD know that and why would they know that and why would they print that info? Is it relevant to anyone reading the newsletter whether the Encino home is rented or not? Unless they are referring to another property in Encino? This could be MJ's hidey-hole?

I'm interested in who is actually selling this house.

Last week I came across the LAPD beat Newsletterjuly 2009, which says:

Department personnel were providing security and crowd control at UCLA Medical Center where the singer was hospitalized, at his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and at his rented family residence in Encino.

RENTED family residence?

If I'm not mistaken, Michae still owns the Encino residence.  :?

The police can find out who owns a house by the land registry.

Re: Jackson's Encino home for sale ?

Didn't an anonymous buyer BUY Neverland recently? & there was work being done to redo the garden & trees or something? & all the cement delivered, etc. Maybe all the activity going on there is part of why they're moving? Maybe Michael is there & the family is moving in with him, that way he can be with his kids? Who knows, but if they really are selling the Encino home, it sure sounds like a big possibility that there's a connection to the activity going on at Neverland...i mean they've been living at the Encino home for years & years why would they ALL OF A SUDDEN be selling it? & ALL OF A SUDDEN an "anonymous" buyer just happens to buy Neverland amidst all the chaos? & Jermaine's or whoever's comments about "bringing Neverland back to life", interesting... ;)

MJLover1990, I would imagine the family would not want to sell Encino, but who knows? Maybe their unique selling point will be that it comes with a free MJ? ;)

Someone just pointed this out to me.

There are questions at the bottom of this page and one is dated Feb 2008 - also it is listed under 'rentals'.

Boy, the housing market has really taken a toll in CA.  I can't believe the list price is only 2 million.  In a different market, they could easily get at least 3-4 million for it.  Tis the times.  It's hurting the housing markets everywhere.

If you look at the questions at the bottom of the page, I think it is on the second link, there was a question posted Feb 2008 about how big the kitchen was.  I looked on several real estate websites and there are several for sale on Hayvenhurst but not the Jackson's family home.  Also, Michael was still living there in 1983 and way before that.  I believe this home was built in the late 60's early 70's.  This was a great find, but I believe it is a mistaken listing.

Re: Jackson's Encino home for sale ?

What does it all mean? I'm confused... Are they trying to save some money and move to a smaller house? What will happen to all the memorabilia collected there? Who exactly is still living there besides  Kartherine and kids? I heard that Joe lives somewhere else with his new fiancee.
Or, if MJ is really >>censored<< (I won't say that word) maybe Catherine no longer has money to live in such a big house??
Or, if only Catherine lives there with kids and the nanny now, maybe MJ is taking her to Neverland?

Gosh... so confusing....  :?

DancingTheDream, Thank you. But why would the police publish that info just because they have access to it?

You are right the Jacksons are not selling the Encino Mansion.
 this announcement is not true.
