yes, right. But I don't know. Is it grammatically right if you say first "loved" in the past and then "are" in the present?

Or could this mean something? (maybe a slip up, because he was so nervous??)

I guess it is grammatically right because he would be saying:
Dad "loved" his fans.
His fans "are" always there.

It doesn´t seem a clue that way.
Only if Michael is alive, this is not a clue, but a message, saying he knows we are here and has always loved us.

I can say I always loved you (meaning I have always loved you) and still be alive, and still loving you. That is the same every time some of them say "Michael used to... has always done this or that... My father´s message has always been..." Ok and it can still be  ;)

And, yes, they were really nervous, that´s normal, no?

Thanks for explaining this :) That really helped me.

And yes of course it's normal to be that nervous :)

dont you guys think its weird how these kids were kept hidden and masked and one would think that would make them rather shy..but interesting how they take to the lime light now eh?? ;) i agree  with you guys! i had to speak at  ajob interview in front of a group i almost shit my pants and sounded like a complete tool     heehee!! bravo to them lol!!

i think that just proves that pp should not judge. the children seem to be great kids, mike and his family and friends did a good job. he obviously made the right decisions for them and its totally understandable why he wanted to spend so much time with his babies, they are a credit to themselves and to their family.

but i do think they now need to get back to being kids and not being centre stage

anyone would be nervous standing in front of thousends knowing millions is watching you...

but if we look at Paris little speach... maybe this was not what she meant to say or maybe she messed up the order she was going to say it... but anyway...

she said:
Dad...daddy was suppose to be here...daddy was gonna perform this year, but he couldn't.....performe last year.....thank you.....we love you daddy!

ok.... the big part in this is. " daddy was gonna performe this year, but he couldn't"
Q= why couldnt he? (well some would say because he is dead) but look at this some more. why coudlnt he performe... i get he was not fysically able to, as for the same reason he could not do the O2 gigs and why he staged his death. So the big Q is then: what was wrong with mj??

To "choke" up means to become speechless or incapacitated according to my dictionary. Tears do not have to be involved.

I don't think Prince was nervous,he was emotional,he was talking about his deceased father.Don't get mad Lionel Richie already mentioned that MJ died before the kids were brought onstage. As for Michael's love for his fans, if it was said in the present tense I would have only taken that as,Michael's love is forever and that death couldn't stop him from loving his fans.

I think they did an awesome job!  I honestly don't think those children would go up there on stage and make sure they slipped a few clues in.  It had to be extremely hard for them to present that speech.  I wished that it would have been Janet or Katherine, not the children.  Michael kept them out of the lime light for a reason.  A big applause for those children!!!!  They did a great job!

is something that not match in all this big HOAX PICTURE... the kids always wear masks and MJ say in several interviews that we only see what he want, and when he want, and how he want...
so, he show the kids to the world days before june 25 and then again they use theur masks...
at memorial we saw this kids unmasked... at funeral... at grammy.... this was the final proof... was aired live!!!
this kids are awsome! they know what to do! his father teach them so well!!!
if michael died that day, his grandma don´t show this kids in public... he is alive and he want us to see this kids, when he want us to see them, and how he want us to see them... ;)
