Xfactor & Sir Philip Green link?
December 02, 2009, 04:54:58 PM
Just wondering what you thought of this. I posted under Michael's family about this week being Michael Jackson week on xfactor and Janet Jackson is on the show.

Just found this...
"Simon Cowell plans global X Factor show"

"X Factor judge Simon Cowell plans to take the ITV talent show format to Las Vegas as part of a global internet venture, he has told GQ magazine.

The 50-year-old is teaming up with retail tycoon Sir Philip Green - who he says has "show business in his blood" - for the project.

Cowell said the pair planned to stage two shows a week which fans could watch online on a pay-per-view basis.

The pair are currently in talks with a major venue in Las Vegas.

Sir Philip, owner of the Arcadia Group - the firm behind Topshop and Miss Selfridge - told GQ: "We'll have a permanent place. The home of X Factor - live from Las Vegas.

"We'll have a store. And it'll be online.

"Vegas is tailor-made for this show. You get to the final 12, your dreams come true - you're going to sing in Vegas." "

Thi just struck me as it was Las Vegas and xfactor and there had been links between Michael and Simon with the Xfactor so i searched for connections between Sir Philip Green and Michael and found this...

"This has been a busy week for retail squillionaire Sir Philip Green.

On Monday he ran into Michael Jackson and took him for a midnight visit to Topshop, Oxford Circus. "It was no mad shop," he shrugged. "He just left with a couple of shirts and a jacket .... "

Are they friends?
What do you think?

To be honest I don't think there's anything to it they just have a slight connection but I could be wrong.

You know (this is obviously nothing) but i'll throw it in here anyway - i've never heard Dermot O'Leary say THIS IS IT so much before you'd think he was being paid to say it every night during the X Factor but i'm sure he always said it just this year it stands out like a sore thumb!! I suppose it's like when you buy a car you see the same car everywhere...
