I looked at this pictures few days ago too and I had doubts but like you said Oetoort, no one cried during the memorial and it's not normal !! Maybe they didn't want to show their emotions but with all the tributes and pictures of michael, they should had cry !!

Speaking about the memorial, does anyone know who is this guy next to Lionel Richie? (on the right) His dad?

I believe that Michael is alive. 100 %. but this just make me think you know... although I have never saw Blanket cry at the memorial :S so what do you guys think?

Unfortunately this photo is one of the reasons I'm not 100% sure this is a hoax.  I can only hope that he's just scared or confused.  But it's still heartbreaking to see little Blanket crying, and it does make me question if Michael would really put his children through all of that. :(

I think he was crying because he was afraid being in front of all of those people he didn't know.

That's exactly what I think. Please remember these children were kept from the world. Sure they went out with Michael but they were never exposed like this. Paris and Prince are old enough to understand what is going on, this little guy isn't. He's only 7 and he never had to do this before. I'm sure he was scared, confused, and like I said before, just wanted his daddy. How would you feel if you were just a child who was so extraordinarily sheltered from the world around you and one day that shelter was gone and you had to stand before the world that only the day before you were protected from?

I did the same when my father switched jobs and had to leave my mom and I for a while. I was devastated! They recently divorced and I'm pushing 40 and I still cry when I go to what is now only my mom's house because of all the memories. Children cry when they need their mommies or daddies..it's natural.

If Michael really had died, they would have told it to Blanket. And not saying that he's on a vacation or something.

I couldn't understand why anyone would tell him MJ is on vacation if he really died. I know he's only 7 and possibly wouldn't understand everything about death but I've never known anyone to lie like that to a child.

Who told him Michael was "on vacation?"  I never heard that story before.

I agree.  If Michael had really died, they should/would have told Blanket the truth.  I know children younger than Blanket that have lost a parent and no one told them they were "on vacation."

It is sad to see him crying, though, for whatever reason.

Mark Lester told the story in an article after the memorial.
