"Stand In" on VH1's The Making Of...

Sorry if this is a repost...
There was a point in "The Making Of TII" on VH1 when Michael was sitting where the audience would be.  He was watching the Thriller part of the movie to see what it would be like to see it from the audience's point of view.  On the stage, there was a stand-in where he would have been.  They showed this twice.  I thought that this was interesting.

Edited to add:  I'm not sure if the stand-in was performing or just standing in where Michael would have been.

Yeah I'm watching the making of This is it now.  There are some parts to me that don't really seem like MJ and then there are parts where you can tell it's definitely him.  Like sometimes when he wears his sunglasses on some parts he look so different then some parts without them he look just like himself.  I like when MJ be putting people in check.  He tells them you gotta let it simmer.  And the part where they try to make him dance and he's not ready yet he's like I'm sizzling.  He seem very much in control of things to me.
