MJ's hoax death now on Wikipedia
January 13, 2010, 07:36:59 PM
I saw this recently on Wikipedia.  I know what type of source Wikipedia is and that it can be updated by regular folks, but I just had to share it to show that Wikipedia acknowledges the "hoaxers".

Under Miscellaneous-Celebrities
"Many people are 100% sure that Michael Jackson is still alive and faked his death."

Also,
Under Assassinations:
"There are also theories about untimely deaths of celebrities, such as Marilyn Monroe, Sam Cooke, Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Elvis Presley, Bob Marley, John Lennon, and more recently Michael Jackson."

It's good to know there are people who are suspicious and questioning the story we've been told, and it's just too weird to not be questioned.

haha, you're right, so kind of them to refer to us as "people"

I imagine, if we are right, there will be a pretty extensive Wiki article on MJ story one day!

You rocked my world, you know you did
And everything I own I give
The rarest love who\'d think I\'d find
Someone like you to call mine

it is not true that anybody just can go and publish something on wikipedia.
there are teams of editors and if a publication does not have enough public interest, it will be removed without hesitation.

So this is indeed interesting news that the disappearance of Michael is being considered interesting enough to mention and keep it on wiki.

He was also mentioned under faked death, but it's already removed.

And you can read this on the 'death hoax' page:

Hoaxes about the death of a celebrity increase in frequency when genuine celebrity deaths occur. With the 2009 death of Michael Jackson, which closely coincided with the deaths of Ed McMahon and Farrah Fawcett, hoax reports emerged concerning the deaths of a number of celebrities

Anyway, I don't think it means a lot, except the fact that a lot of people have doubts about his death.
