Death Certificates- spot the differences
November 27, 2018, 03:48:32 PM
MJ's death certificate 2009

Stan Lee (R.I.P) 2018

Liz Taylor (R.I.P) 2011

You might think, well they updated the format/layout/boarder since 2009...

Brittany Murphy (R.I.P) 2009

I can't find any death certificates like Michael's. Can you? Does anyone have a reasonable explanation for this that I'm not realising?

So it appears that the boarder and layout used in MJ's death certificate is similar to (but not identical) the one used for County of Riverside. Not Los Angeles. Notice the title, boarder, graphics, barcode etc.

I wonder why they are all records of the department of public health, except for Michael's. His is department of health services. I never noticed that before. Doesn't seem right.

I didn't notice it either. According to Wikipedia, DHS preceeded DPH though the DHS page appears to be out of date.

It's not clear if DHS is still functioning - it is not listed here

Their website is still running but it seems to focus on community health programmes

Perhaps someone in Cali could understand this better.

I'm wondering also why the layout of the DC is distinct to MJs as welll.

It could just be that the department was using up as many of the old forms as possible. I tried searching for Farrah Fawcett and Ed McMahons death certficate but couldn't find them.

Since Michaels certificate matches the closest to the Riverside certificate, maybe that means something; afterall, Michaels certificate indicates he was living at Hayvenhurst, which he was not. Also, the autopsy report (page 37) shows the date of the autopsy had been changed from April 20 to June 26.

Honestly, he was never registered at Carolwood, his last known address is registered as Hayvenhurst.

Well, since page 1 of the autopsy report states his address/residence as being Carolwood and since page 1 states information was taken from his drivers license as a method of identification, one can only assume it states Carolwood as being his address not Hayvenhurst, otherwise Hayvenhurst would have been used as his residence on the case report.

Since nobody has seen his last drivers license (DMV photo was taken in 2005), we have no idea what address was listed.

Love you Michael!

I don't believe your address is listed on your DL. I was saying that because I have the reports on Carolwood and Hayvenhurst and Michael's last known address was Hayvenhurst, he was never registered at Carolwood.
