I'm wondering how this voicemail could have been to Nicole when he addresses, "“I can’t sleep now, it’s very hard, I’m in constant pain. Can someone please help me? I can’t use my hands anymore, I have no more use of my arms.”
It would be, "Please Nicole help me."  Unless he wasn't in his right mind and forgot who all he was phoning, as in same message for 10 friends, and the other 9 didn't sell for money.

I think he may be killing two birds with one stone so to speak.  There ARE a lot of parallels to MJ and at the same time, money rears its ugly head, and also illusion plays a huge part in this. Once again, I guess we need to read between the lines, and don't believe everything we read.

I agree with what you said Andrea, MJonmind and RK.  This could be understood and interpreted in so many ways that I'm getting a  huge headache already, or maybe I'm just hungry and I need to have some lunch (It's just before noon here) first...........

I'm thinking the LAPD had to have been ordered by Sneddon and higher authorities to publicly humiliate and physically torment Michael as much as possible while they had him in their possession.  I simply can't see regular police doing that to such a huge well-known celebrity, without special orders.  70 police to ransack and rip up his bedroom and Neverland, force his handcuffed hands high behind his back when MJ willingly went with the police and complied in every way, and locking him up in a bathroom smeared with feces (poor guy who had to clean that :icon_e_sad:).  And at that point all it was was allegations only, with no proof he was guilty.  Sneddon and many higher officials should be charged with crimes, and hopefully will soon.

You are absolutely right.  My guess is that it's more likely a celebrity would be treated with kid gloves or that the story might be shoved under the carpet.  It's even harder to imagine his treatment inside, for many reasons, not the least of which would be the threat of a huge lawsuit.  One can only conclude that Michael had some powerful enemies and I can't help but think Sneddon was merely the messenger and the orders came from someone with far more political clout than a local District Attorney.  Somewhere along the line there was a video demonstrating a connection between Sneddon and the Vatican and the implication that Michael's child molestation charges were a means of taking attention away from the Vatican's many scandals.  In that same video, Santa Barbara county was identified as a safe haven for priests under investigation for child molestation.

I do think TPTB were behind the allegations and trial against Michael and that Sneddon was paid by them for his part in it.  The reason I think this is because TPTB's credo is control through fear and Michael's message is love for everyone - so in direct opposition to TPTB's way of doing things.  Michael, just prior to the time of the '93 allegations, had the love of the masses, something TPTB could never have and they would've resented him for that and realized the power of Michael's influence.  So yes, maybe since they weren't able to "get him" during the 9/11 attacks (assuming La Toya and Jermaine's account of this is true), TPTB's next move was to have Michael accused, again.  Michael prevailed during that trial when he was found not guilty but he would've known the battle of good vs evil wasn't done yet.

I think you both are right but I would add this: as Andrea says the masses loved Michael due to the love he was spreading all over but Michael was always hinting evil's behaviours too through his lyrics, right now the song MJ dedicated to Elizabeth Taylor is coming to my mind:
