If you detect the odor of sour grapes ... mixed with the aroma of bitterness ... it's probably Joe Jackson ... who just CLOSED UP his perfume kiosk at a Vegas mall ... TMZ has learned.

MJ's father has officially shut down his shop at the Fashion Show Mall in Vegas ... and his perfume partner Julian Rouas Paris tells us ... it's because mall officials treated them like crap -- giving them the worst location and charging unfair rent.

But fear not scent-heads ... JJ has pressed on with his "Jackson Perfumes" ... and just opened up a NEW mall kiosk just 7 miles down the road at the Town Square Mall.



We're told papa Jackson is psyched about the new locale ... claiming it offers more foot traffic, a bigger space AND a California Pizza Kitchen -- SCORE!!

6.5 mi, 14 mins  No traffic information I-15 S
6.4 mi, 16 mins  No traffic information S Dean Martin Dr
5.2 mi, 16 mins  In current traffic: 21 mins S Las Vegas Blvd

And THAT my friends, is why you should NEVER be rude to anyone who pipes up politely in your conversation, as they walk the same path as you. Some people will just be jerks because they're control-freaks, never realizing there's a profound truth literally at elbow's length.  :icon_lol:

@Andrea - your forgot unloading at the dock, and actually moving to the spot within the mall, along with setup and breaks. That adds mileage and time.

Google earth shows by car using I-15 S is 6.5 mi , close enough I suppose.
But if you walk Las Vegas blvd it's: 4.4 miles.  :moonwalk_:
