Randy was with Michael when he collapsed?
December 26, 2009, 08:47:13 AM
I have the book "Michael Jackson King Of Pop, 1958 - 2009" It says that "Michael's entourage had followed the ambulance...including his brother Randy who had also been with him when he collapsed."

Is this true? I did not know this....

Hmm.. well this is a new one.  And not something i think Randy has confirmed?

The writer of this book is Chris Roberts. I dont know anything about him, but i wonder who is source was for this information?

Ive done a quick google search and cant find anything that collaberates this, but most of the articles i found seem to state that Randy was one of the first siblings to find out the news of MJ going to hospital.

Other articles i have read say that Latoyah was the first of the siblings to arrive at the hospital.

I've never heard of it on the news. There are too many different versions to the same fact, and it's confusing.  :?

If true, then that article is heart breaking.  The fact the doctor wanted to help and pleaded with the family but was cut out and ignored is immensely sad.

When MJ's brothers were on LKL to talk about their TV show, didn't they say they knew NOTHING about the problem? What was the point of that lie (if a lie) when even Janet admitted there WAS a problem and family tried to intervene. I read on another forum that the fact that initial reports of demerol overdose could be changed later to propofol intoxication because propofol is not a drug in a negative sense (even Marlon pointed that out on LKL), and it's because the family didn't want MJ name to be associated with 'drugs' for the sake of his legacy and his children. I strongly hope this is not the case. To me it looks like people deliberately mess up their stories, so in the end of the day we can never be sure whether there was a severe drug problem or not. I tend to believe the truth usually lies in the middle. "He's in safe keepings now".

I agree..
or the brothers were just denying they knew about the addiction so then they wouldn't look responsible for doing nothing..

Exactly.  And is why we continue to believe there's a hoax.  Seems as if there are always 2-3 different versions of every story.

Re: Randy was with Michael when he collapsed?
December 26, 2009, 11:17:09 AM
Isn't the notion of Michael collapsing called into question?  One of the first accounts we heard was that Michael got up and then collapsed in front of the eldest Prince and Prince thought MJ was playing around.  But then, we were told over and over that Michael was trying to sleep under the influence of the drugs that Murray gave him in the IV and he never woke up from the night before.    I also heard news accounts that MJ woke up, told Murray he wasn't feeling well and Murray told him to go back to bed.  So, which is it?  Part of why I believe in the hoax is because there are so many different stories.

Also, why would Randy be at MJ's house in the morning? Although I think that Randy is a major support to MJ and is helping with the hoax, there wouldn't be any other reason for Randy to have just been hanging around that morning - presumably.

Something else I keep wondering about.  I thought we were told that propofol stays in your system for a very short time and is therefore almost undetectable.   If this is true, how could the autopsy report that there were lethal levels of it in MJ's system? :?:  :?:  :?:
