Marumjj, I feel for you having that experience with your neighbour's ignorance of MJ.  I've had similar times, but even saying little things like what you said, "You don't know him", may plant a seed.  I feel these are like some of the practical ways we can support MJ, by dropping these little comments to people around us, to make them think and know many many love him so dearly.

Dearest Michael,

Once again I find myself here, among my words for you.  I have redefined myself through writing.....primarily through your adventure here.
It's been an amazing learning curve, one of which I have taken much from.  I hope and pray that you as well, have learned much. 
I have always felt society can only move forward by knowledge of self-awareness.  If we do not know who we are as a people, what is the use
in trying to further ourselves?  Some may see it as a chicken and an egg thing......in other words, gain knowledge and become self-aware vs. gain self-awareness and then gain knowledge.  For me, gaining self-awareness and knowing who I am, comes through faith.  It's by faith in myself, in society and things like this hoax, that my mind opens to receive the knowledge it needs to move forward.  So many people I know, think they can read a book, study, take a test and just like that...move forward.  They never steep themselves in the faith of their own heart and mind.  It's like looking in the mirror and only seeing a reflection....but not the real person.  I think many of your fans are like that as well.  They see your reflection, but not the real person.  I know I was guilty of that once upon a time (sorry).  You created such an outward image, most would stop there and be satisfied they truly knew you.  All the while, the true you was staring back in wonder....you're brilliant really.  When I look into the mirror myself, I see a different person than 3.5 years ago.  I was always there, just covered up with society's expectations.  I never intended to become a writer of life, yet, the path has taken me there.  I find myself very comfortable among words of enlightenment and love.  Things I always knew about, but never fully embraced. 
I am not sure how you do the things you do.......but I find myself wanting to learn all I can from you and people you admire.  In order to keep spreading that light and love, one needs to recharge and refuel.  This adventure has done just that.  I am fully charged, ready to go and be that better person......the person behind the reflection. 
May you and yours be blessed all your days.  You have set the world's stage for its shock..no matter what happens, I'll be here clutching my faith in you and all I have experienced.
