A Template for Humanity


I believe in honoring and respecting everyone's path to "God". I believe that the Being or Force that some call "God" is all-inclusive. It does not care how or if we choose to personify, engender or worship it. These are human choices.
Throughout history, many have come and gone. leaving examples, or templates for humanity. These are Ideals, which shine the way for others t
o follow. What often happens, is that those ideals are institutionalized and, in the process, the Ideal becomes an Idol.
The pattern usually goes like this: One Man sees the truth. Another talks about the One who saw the truth. Another writes it down. Another edits the writing. Another translates the writings. Then a Church is formed which deifies the One who saw the truth in the first place. Statues are made of the One. Followers are gathered, some by choice, some by force. Official interpretations are issued regarding what the One really meant. Anyone who disagrees with those official interpretations is persecuted and often killed. Slowly but surely, the teachings are corrupted from what was a beautiful, liberating message into a controlling force. In order to maintain control, the message soon becomes that this Church's teachings represent the only way and, therefore, all others are wrong. Of course the Church, Mosque or Temple across the street disagrees and arguments begin, which often leads to violence, bloodshed and even wars.
In the end, what was born in Pure Light as a vision for Humanity, based upon Love, Peace, Tolerance, Understanding, Compassion and Mutual Respect has been corrupted into a dogma that justifies the killing of others that do not believe the same way.
Enough is Enough.
I believe that the essential Message is simple:
1. God is and always has been within you.
2. You have the right to personify and worship God in any way you choose.
3. You have the right to not acknowledge or outright deny the existence of God, if you so choose.
4. You do not require a middleman to build a relationship with God. Choosing to do so is up to you.
5. You are free to learn from all great teachers, from all traditions so that you may develop your own personal Path to God, Universal Understanding, Unconditional Love, Enlightenment and Spirit.
6. You are personally responsible for your actions and for living up to your highest ideals.
7. The Golden Rules are: Love for All. Tolerance for All. Compassion for All. Peace with All. Mutual Respect. Mutual Understanding. Do No Harm.
We are the Family of Man.
Our Blood is Our Bond.
We are All the One

Well , today was one of these days when I can't just utter a sentence without you  embodying every thought !
