Hi - thank you for sharing this with us. Is that the way the sentence is wrote in TMZ (no link was provided)? I might be a little slow but are you referring to the quotation marks that surround "the day Michael died". If so, I agree with you.Blessings

I also know that when people are retelling conversations or information to others, if it's a lie they use quotation marks with their fingers to quote the lie. In my family we use it all the time when we catch someone in a lie, I've also seen it done on T.V., movies etc, so I know it's not just us.
