This may be off the wall to put this theory out there but could the double have began during the early 1980s? I understand people look different at different angles, different lighting and that could be the case but I saw the picture above and immediately wondered about a possible double. Of course, I could be totally wrong but doesn't hurt to put a theory out there.

I think it's the same picture.  On one he sports the blown out fro.  On others he looks to have gotten a curl and shortened his hair a bit.  The lighting is different as are the angles of the shots.  I don't think he even considered using doubles during those days.  He was basking in the light and enjoying it.  The days before the Dimonds, the Sneddons or the Bashirs.  He was at the top and enjoying every minute of it.

I am not sure about the double theory.....but these videos are awesome!  I hadn't seen them before and really appreciate you posting them.  Disneyland holds a very special place in my heart....it's one of my favorite places in the world.  I love the 25th anniversary video.....I was tearing up even before he sang the first note.

I do not believe in a double theory. There's no double that looks exactly like Michael. And all of them in these videos is Michael himself and I agree with wishingstar, these videos are amazing. Thank you for posting these.

i have not wanted to go with the idea of a double but something has been going on with this situation for a while. but i think there are some simple factors that play in also .l
the vitaligo, michael's giftedness simply comes with some aspects that have to be worked around: attention span issues would be my guess. as well as temperment. and asynchronic developement. and his desire to have a normal life in some copacity. and i have to wonder if on the business end he wasn't very capable of knowing how to make it just not capable of knowing how to keeps others from causing him to loose it. jmo

I do believe he used doubles in the latter years.  In Bucharest, he obviously uses a double at the end of Thriller.  Once he turns away and puts on the mask, it's not him.  Look at the body and it's plain to see because the face is covered.  As soon as it's over he's on the cherry picker.  Also I do not believe for one second that he flew out of that arena.  Too much of an insurance risk for that to ever happen.  Never would they risk that kind of dangerous stunt with Michael.

yes in all of the obvious places that any performer would simply have to use them for things to work , of course.i think when anyone refers to using doubles these times should be excluded without question . but i also think in these videos ( at least for me ) he is explaining some things ahead of time that i think will come to light in all of this. his parents also. if you notice early on the family was very open and willing to talk about things but as the situation with michael and all of the bs began to get out of hand they as well as michael became more guarded about what they would say. because they of course knew michaels heart and they knew the position that fast fame had put him in.
