LYRICS/DEMOS-TII ALBUM
November 24, 2009, 05:41:52 PM
IN Disc 2, you have 4 demos fo Michael in it.

SHE'S OUT OF MY LIFE is of guitar accompaniment and I've been listening to it all the time and I've been changing my walkman's batteries.

WANNA BE STARTIN' SOMETHING was WOWWWWW. So much energy in spite of being raw. I loved it and of course the additional orchestration and stage presentation is different. This has so muchhhh vivacity.

BEAT IT which was in acapella showed the versatility and ingenuity in Michael in this raw and candid original version/demo. Using his voice as a beatbox to substitute for the instruments was really impressive. WOWWWWW.

THE PLANET EARTH, his actual reading with his breathing and vocal expressions stupefied my imagination of how I read it before from the DANGEROUS Album. His spirit speaks.

These 4 demos of Michael are the medium showing us the being of Michael.
I think these demos were the main streams (not including his others demos yet) that connects us to Michael.

She's Out Of My Life was written by Tommy Bahler and according to Quincy Jones,
it' about a bad ending to marriage song. Quincy was initially saving it for Sinatra but he later on gave it to Michael.

Michael really did justice to the song written and you can really feel that he gets into your heart.

I want to quote what Quincy said : "So it was very real. I was saving it for Sinatra, but I gave it to Michael. And Michael cried during every take, and I left the tears in."

Regarding Smooth Criminal.
In this TII Album, Franki DiLeo was mentioned (which he was never accredited in the other Smooth Criminal of BAD ALBUM).

CREAKING AND HEAVY BREATHING by Frank DiLeo

Interesting Juliet-thanks for posting. I love background information on songs and albums...love it on the special edition of the MJ albums. I really wished extrs had been put on the "Dangerous" album. I have been debating on getting the TII cd-because I have all the songs except those demos-and "This is It" of course  :D

I think it's good if you get the TII Album.  The demos they've on Disc 2 shows the rawness and the candidness of Michael's talent and who he is.

I always listen to She's Out Of My Life as it melts my heart.

For certain, the music industry will come out with all demo music of Michael in the future because it has a very different impact and the originality of the demos are very impressive.

Yeah I wan that too...I don't really want that big companion book that is like fifteen dollars...has too much of Randy Phillips in it and something about him really turns me off. I know we have so many conflicting stories but something inside me doesnt feel an offense from KO-but I just feel like Randy is a liar. *peace* I'll end up with TII album though I know it.
