What's the Big Friggin' Difference?! - Come Together

  • on: December 16, 2009, 05:29:24 PM
After Bec's post about the problems with the funeral pics, I found another thing that is odd. The first pic that bec posted: http://http://michaeljacksonhoaxforum.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1592 is supposed to be the one of the cover of Liberian girl, but when compared to that cover pic, something didn't seem right. I put the original cover as a transparent layer over the funeral pic, but I could NOT get a perfect match. I could match the eyes, nose and mouth, which means  it is the same person, but the rest of the photo is off. I have made 6 shots. layer with a 0% capacity, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100%, so you can see the face (at least the eyes, nose and mouth) matches. If you have photoshop yourself, I challenge you to match it.

So what's the Big Friggin' Difference?! To me one looks older, and the nostrils of the 'older' one are clearly bigger and his face is wider. Like to hear your thoughts  8-)

could you post a comparison of this pic with a similar face of MJ on a recent pic???
Im completely clueless on photoshop etc  but this pic looks like MJ "now" and maybe they just made his skin colour more brown???
WOW

i'm thinking of the pic of MJ in TII smooth criminal i think it's a black and white photo

Isn't it possible it's just the same pic edited with photoshop or some other similar stuff?

The 'younger' one is from the official cover, and in the 80's we didn't have the photoshop we have now. Also, I can't match the hair either, and the eyebrows are different as well. It's just not a perfect match and believe me, I've tried...

Right, I wanted to know if you knew the date release  ;) ok, so if one is from the 80's no way it could have been photoshopped, so ... they are different

Entire picture not just the face/body is lightened can do that with anything from Paint shop pro to Gimp to Photoshop.

Can blend/smooth/blur with any of them also.

What exactly don't you think is a 'match'? The chin? They smoothed out the cleft and the age lines.. i can do it to the picture right now if you want?  There's no hiding the fact that just about every professional/staged/photoshoot pictures of Michael is in some way retouched or changed.. it's airbrushing just like models get in Playboy and for swim suit pictorials.

Don't get me wrong, I know how it works.

That doesn't explain why the pictures are different. If I match the clothes, the face is in the wrong position. blending, bluring, lighting, sharpen ok, but putting the head in another position? Why?
And if the ýounger one is shopped, how come the eyebrows of the 'older' one look slimmer and shopped, but on the 'shopped' photo they don't... Get what I'm saying 'cause I have the feeling I make no sense

I have aligned markings around the photo and this is what I have come up with. It looks to me as if we have two similar photos from the same photoshoot. Probably taken within a second of each other. It appears as if Michael tilts his head back or forth slightly. Just enough to change the shape of his face, alter the position of the edges of his hair, and move the position of his right shoulder.
However, one of the photos (the 'younger' one) has been smoothed over dramatically in the face and brightened to emphasise the hair strands.. And, the other 'older' photo has had the contrast altered to give the hair a darker appearance, and less hair strands show. I also noticed on the 'older' face photo that there's an inconsistency on the jawline below his left ear, and there are neck lines.

The photos are totally different, I see difference in jaw, eyebrows, eyes and nose. I have a theory.. Could the photo that was used on the burial be a recent photo? Michael did look young on the smooth criminal photoshoot 3D taken from TII movie. What if the Liberian Girl photo from the burial is a NEW photo of Michael??????

OMG this would make so much sence why they used Liberian Girl photographs at the funeral. They were both recent!!!!! Remember the other angled photo? We all thought the face looked odd and that it didnt look like the original? Remember how we wondered why the family didnt pick a recent photo of him?? WELL MY FRIENDS, THESE ARE RECENT PHOTOS OF HIM!!!!

With the right makeup, hair and posture and if not plastic surgery, Michael could well make himself look younger like in the Bad era times. Just look at this for example:

From This Is It photoshoot to the right.

This is very interesting!
What I thought was: maybe the pic which was shown now, the "older looking one", was the original one... I mean, before a pic is f. example put into a newspaper or so, it´s digitally remastered. Maybe the younger looking pic was the made up one, and the "older looking one" was original, before it was changed... Does that make sense?

Im sorry but i dont agree..  Michael is a human being like all of us and he would have changed due to the aging process.  At 50 years of age he isnt going to look like that.

Now this theory is getting really juicy.... I know my imagination runs high no one needs to point this out but this would make so much sense and sure it sounds like something from bizarro world but what if he did use imposters for several years who had a bit too much surgery and this is what the real Michael looks like today? I dont believe in the imposter theories but now that I think of it, it is kind of freaky and wild to imagine it for a second.

Exactly...which means he has not changed a bit..therefor no plastic surgeys like the media claim.......which I guess does go towards the double therory...any1 who doesn't look exactly like this ain't him...lol

Now  my question is:...is that mikes color without make up???? Which would be a hoax in a hoax ina hoax......lmao

Im sorry but i dont agree..  Michael is a human being like all of us and he would have changed due to the aging process.  At 50 years of age he isnt going to look like that.

OMG OMG you are so right
i posted on the other thread it was weird how someone could look sodifferent in two pics from the same photoshoot
you're right he looks OLDER

could you post a comparison of this pic with a similar face of MJ on a recent pic???
Im completely clueless on photoshop etc  but this pic looks like MJ "now" and maybe they just made his skin colour more brown???
WOW

i'm thinking of the pic of MJ in TII smooth criminal i think it's a black and white photo

Are you talking about the left pic??

Yeah, he looks older there....I first thought, it was just the same photo but unedited and the right photo is edited thing with Photoshop( you know what I mean? For makin the skin clearer etc.)

But I just watched his nose on the left pics and it looks a little bit like his "last nose"  don't know how to say it..

Yes it sounds crazy but how else would u discribe all the facial changes over the years? If he hasn't changed in at least 20

I think you may be right on this!

Those are pictures from the same photoshoot. One has been airbrushed (which is what was done before there was photoshop, and it's also why the "younger" picture looks a little more like a painting than a photo) and the other hasn't. If you believe the '92 conversation with Glenda, MJ even mentions that they airbrushed his face for album covers/magazines, etc.

Usually when photos are airbrushed/photoshopped, they often smooth out fine lines, perhaps fill out the brow a bit more, or smooth out the corners of the mouth (as they obviously did here). It's not unusual that any of those differences are there. Also, one picture obviously has a great deal more contrast which emphasizes shadows which could make the face look different.

As for the bonus footage picture, I don't know. It looks like an old picture to me.

So I've watched the SC part from Moonwalker and found this lady: [attachment=0:3o250939]Moonwalkerstill.jpg[/attachment:3o250939]
The blouse seems to be the same like in the pic with MJ from the DVD bonus.
I'm guessing that one really IS a pic from the Bad era.

Yes. I believe you are totally right!
They are two different pictures taken from the same photoshoot. Michael slightly changed his position while taking the photo and that is why they dont match.
And I believe in the convo beteween him and Glenda so this is more confirmation for me. ;)

mjj29081958 has already done me the favor and clarified this for me (thanks, by the way =D ) but just so I make myself clear:

The "younger" photo is *airbrushed*. So you have two factors. One, Michael moved between one picture and the next, and two, one picture has been altered. That's not mentioning the contrast issues.

If you look CLOSELY, the cleft in his chin is still there in the airbrushed picture. It's more prominent in the non-airbrushed picture because the contrast ratio is higher which emphasizes shadows. His hair looks fuller for the same reason-- contrast brings out the darker aspects of a photo (which is also why his skin looks darker), and because his hair is black, the contrast brought it out.

The rest of the differences are airbrushing.

Guys, there is *no possible way* for someone to take a new picture that looks *that* similar 20 years after the fact. Some of you are pointing out a couple of easily explainable differences, but I can spot *curls of hair* that are in precisely the same position in both pictures (even some flyaways, and you just can't reproduce that-- ever). I see wrinkles in his clothes that are in precisely the same position. What you're suggesting (that he took a new picture trying to replicate one taken over 20 years ago) is impossible. There's details in those photos that simply can't be duplicated, even if you try.

I know you guys want to see clues...but this isn't one.

ok well tell that to jay'z and mariah carey who both remade there album covered from over the years for comercials and mariahs new album..the pictures look exactly like they did when they were first taken

and that doesnt make sense for the non airbrushed picture to have a better quality than the airbrushed picture...why would the "younger" air brushed picture look 20 years old?

But why would they use an unairbrushed photo for the funeral instead of the original cover photo??
That doesn't make any sense.

I'm not sure if it's the recent Michael on that picture. But if it is, it's just another clue.
Maybe it's the recent Michael on the unairbrushed photo but they photoshopped it a little so not everybody would notice only for  his real fans and believers of the hoax. ;)

I agree. Why wouldn't they use the same picture as Liberian girl in the 1980s? Why did they show this one instead? Because we haven't found out why there was the liberian girl pic instead of a recent one for the funeral yet. That's why this thread makes sense to me because it would be actually a recent picture of Michael..

Sure, they look "exactly" the same. That's because they're from the same PHOTOSHOOT.

A photoshoot is not just one picture, or even just a collection of pictures in different poses, it's several pictures of each pose. Now, I haven't seen Jay Z or Mariah Carey's album covers, but I can guarantee you that they didn't have FLYAWAYS in the exact same position on both covers. IT CANNOT. BE DONE. EVER.

And I explained why the airbrushed picture looks older. BEFORE there was photoshop, there was AIRBRUSHING. Airbrushing makes pictures look more like paintings (like this one). Which is why it looks *older*. But they were taken within seconds of each other.

I've already explained this as many times and as many ways as I can think of. If some of you still don't get it, whatever. Waste your time trying to find something that isn't there, I won't waste mine anymore.

Also when I say older I mean the one where mike looks older not the original phoyo with him lighter

You still don't make sense..why would they thin out his hair instead of fill it out like in the older photo? And obviously there not the same because we jus listed the differences....and he can have the same clothes and fly aways because they added them 2 the older photo 2 make them look the same..yes the body and flyaways are the same but the face is not..

They didn't thin out his hair. His hair looks different because of the CONTRAST RATIO. I've said it time and again.

I'm not making sense? You change your explanation every time I point out that it's impossible for the two pictures to be 20 years apart. You're the one who's not making any sense.

So ur saying that when they airbrushed the picture it made his hair look thinner from the contrast ratio? And I haven't changed my explanation....that is a new picture of mike...I have seen plenty of pictures of mike from the 80s and never has he had lines on his face and looked that old. Your the one not making sense and you still haven't explained why at he funeral they would use an untouched photo from 20years..as a matter of fact where would they get the untouched picture from......so what's more logical mike redid this picture so that we could notice, esp since liberian girl and come together are major factors of the hoax

Or they decided to use an unedited photo of mike for no reason at all

About the picture in which MJ looks "older" and "darker": Could it be that they took an original photo from that session and just added "the face" after? I mean, maybe Michael recently posed with his head in the same position as in the original, then - in photoshop, they pasted the "new face" onto the old body and background, fitting it and matching the colors? Maybe it would explain the "older looking" face. Dunno why someone would do this...but who knows?

I had the same thought exactly.  It could certainly be done in Photoshop or a similar Program.

I am obsessed with a man I have never met, yet, I feel like I have known him forever.

these pictures are the result of some editing magic...If we could see all pictures in magazines before retouching...we would all be shocked!  Models wouldn't be models if we could see their flaws  ;)

The problem with pics is that you never know what is true.  This investigation can't really rely pn photographic evidence unless one of us has taken the photo.

NO.

The unairbrushed picture is the one with the higher contrast ratio, NOT the other way around.

First you said it was a completely new picture, then you said it was just his face. Of course they would use an untouched photo for the funeral-- that's the Michael they know! Not some airbrushed representation of him. And of course they would have access to his portfolio.

You're mistaken. First of all, this was late 80s and Michael already had the cleft in his chin (check VIDEOS, not pictures). He doesn't look old to me at all in the untouched photo, he looks like he did in the late 80s.

People like you will never get far in this "hoax investigation". You get so blinded by your beliefs that you rationalize everything in your mind to suit whatever you want to believe, and meanwhile, there's important things flying right by your head. This isn't a clue. This isn't a "new picture". This is an old picture that you (and now I) have wasted our time on.

And that's all there is to it.
