Your My Best Friend is our song. My husband and I fell in love to that song in 1976 and we still get all sentimental when we hear it now 35 years later. And we're still "happy at home with my best friend" :)
That's cuuuute :D

Just imagine, they didn't play together for 17 years, I think. Just because they liked Freddie so much. Must have been hard for them to loose him. Only the good die young. So true.

@Miss-Zazi95: I meant the old formation with Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon. In 2005 Brian May, Roger Taylor and Paul Rodgers came together as "Queen + Paul Rodgers". But I don't know this music. John Deacon didn't play again with them. In the time between Brian May and Roger Taylor made few performances.
By the way I liked your article from Peter Freestone very much.

I agree truthprevails, Freddie Mercury is a great legend. I've always liked his songs.
One of my favs is Innuendo because of the video, the lyrics are beautiful and so true.

[youtube:22iigz0w]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmHgdLKwU8U&feature=fvsr[/youtube:22iigz0w]

While the sun hangs in the sky and the desert has sand
While the waves crash in the sea and meet the land
While there's a wind and the stars and the rainbow
Till the mountains crumble into the plain
Oh yes we'll keep on tryin'
Tread that fine line
Oh we'll keep on tryin' yeah
Just passing our time
While we live according to race, colour or creed
While we rule by blind madness and pure greed
Our lives dictated by tradition, superstition, false religion
Through the eons, and on and on
Oh yes we'll keep on tryin'
We'll tread that fine line
Oh we'll keep on tryin'
Till the end of time
Till the end of time

Through the sorrow all through our splendour
Don't take offence at my innuendo

You can be anything you want to be
Just turn yourself into anything you think that you could ever be
Be free with your tempo, be free be free
Surrender your ego - be free, be free to yourself

Oooh, ooh -
If there's a God or any kind of justice under the sky
If there's a point, if there's a reason to live or die
If there's an answer to the questions we feel bound to ask
Show yourself - destroy our fears - release your mask
Oh yes we'll keep on trying
Hey tread that fine line
Yeah we'll keep on smiling yeah
And whatever will be - will be
We'll just keep on trying
We'll just keep on trying
Till the end of time
Till the end of time
Till the end of time

Yes, it must have been hard for them  :? I don't why John retired though.
Glad you liked it :) Freddie and Michael had so much in common. Love both of them <3

This is a very sad one, same for "The show mus go on" and so are most of the rest of the songs in Innuendo album.

I just wanted to reshare this video again, beautiful demo song from a collaboration with Michael and Freddie. Not hoax related, but Michael's message nevertheless
