Move like Michael Jackson on TV-disappointing!
December 14, 2009, 03:52:45 PM
Am still watching "move like Michael Jackson" on TV and up to now is really disappointing. Michaels choreographer is one of the two judges that decides who goes to the next round. To me it is just like a normal dance competition-the very few that are good are not even dancing like Michael-most are breakdancing-when did he ever do that? They have said he no likey lookie likey-which translated for our foreign members means the competition "move like Michael Jackson" they do not actually want anyone to move like Michael Jackson! It is ridiculous-I am so disappointed! If you havn't watched it yet unless you have a strong constitution or a weird sense of humour don't bother.

I haven't seen the show, but I'm not surprised at all that it's disappointing. The whole point is to profit off of Michael's name by putting it right there in the title. What else is new? Even his family is doing that these days. They could at least choose contestants who do what the title says, though.

Yes- you are so right. I cannot emphasise enough how really disappointed I am, I have been waiting weeks for this to be on. I honestly don't know how they can use Michaels name with this rubbish. Obvious that Jermaine would be involved. I just wonder what the concert will be like next year- will not be for Michael but for Jermaine.

This boy dances better than all and he's only 12! I adore kids especially when they do Michael's dance. How cute! He makes me smile :)

I just watched a bit on BBC3 and I couldn't watch anymore it's so bad, They aren't looking for a look-a-like etc why is the program called ''Move Like Michael Jackson'' then?
I mean there is only one Michael and no one could ever move like he did anyway but the thing is I see these programs as almost normal dance shows but with a Michael touch on them but if they didn't tagged Michael's name to the program it would actually just have been a normal dance show but they know when they will put Michael's name on a program or anything they know it will make alot of money and alot of people will watch, it's really dissapointing!

@LiberianGirl-the Turkish boy is good and so cute, he will break a few hearts when he grows up!
Must be a thing with the Turkish as we have friends there and the resort we go to in just about every bar there is a Michael jackson dancer. The Turkish guys are brilliant dancers anyway and make our English guys look like Mr Bean! Some are good but some are brilliant and they are just normal barmen with a Michael hat, glove and jacket on.

WOW- makes you wonder because all involved with Michael are making little innuendos etc. Thanks for that.

That was amazing, this kid is better then any one of them on Move Like Michael Jackson, I have a tip for everyone that is participating on the show go look at this clip first and then go back because I think they won't even dare to go back after seeing that!

MJ-Fan

Yeah I kinda agree..
The dancing is of a very high standard, but it's hip hop and street. There's a few Michael Jackson moves here and there but it's not 'move like Michael Jackson' it's more like 'dance for the hell of it'. Like I said, the dancing was a high standard, but I wasn't inspired or captivated like I am when I watch MJ. Dancing is changing now.. I'm not gonna say it's not as talented, but it's all too planned. No one really just feels the music!
I thought the point was to do Michael Jackson moves, to Michael Jackson's music and perhaps change it up a little.
I wasn't disappointed at the dancing, it was interesting and fun to watch but I kinda wanted to see a lot more Michael stuff!
It's basically just any old dance contest, using MJ's name to get more views..

2 things that stood out to me with this show,
(1) Jermaine was yet again talking about Michael in present tense.
(2) The winner will perform at the OFFICIAL Memorial to Michael, so what was the Memorial in July, The Unofficial one?
Good point about breakdancers, Mike didn't need to do that, he did so much more!!

"Come Back Michael ALL is forgiven!!"

Show these wannabies how it SHOULD be done!!  ;)  :P  :D
