FBI File 591 pages?

  • on: December 11, 2009, 11:59:26 PM
Michael Petrelis submitted a Freedom of Information Act request to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for any records they may have in their archive on Michael Jackson, his request is dated August 10th, 2009. Mr Petrelis reports stories that the mainstream media choose to ignore.

Michael Petrelis is a gay rights activist.

Here is the FBI's response to his request for the file on Michael Jackson:

Here's the link to Michael Petrelis's blog:

http://mpetrelis.blogspot.com/2009/08/f ... pages.html

What this all means who knows.  I would be interested in seeing the file. But I also wish people wouldn't keep digging into all of this.  I guess it is inevitable though.  John Lennon had a huge FBI file too.

Wonder what his interest is in MJ's file?

FBI's Michael Jackson File = 591 Pages

When I submitted a Freedom of Information Act request to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for any records they may have in their archive on Michael Jackson, I expected the agency would reply saying they didn't locate any such records, or that there were only a handful on pages on the late entertainer. I was wrong.

A letter from the FBI yesterday informs me they've located close to 600 pages on him. As I've learned from years of filing these sort of FOIAs, it's going to be a while before anything is released, and, when pages are eventually provided to me, they could be quite mundane.

Here's the FBI letter on my Michael Jackson FOIA:"

Here's the answer:

http://mpetrelis.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
The feds received another request from me in the summer when closeted gay singer Michael Jackson died, and in response the FBI said it had 600 pages on him, but didn't say when that file would be released.

I can't find this statement in his blog...is it at the end of the thread you linked.  I went all the way to the bottom and still couldn't find it.

Here's more of it:

FBI Has 3,000 Pages on Ted Kennedy

When a person dies, you can file a Freedom of Information Act request with the Federal Bureau of Investigation for any records on the deceased. My open government bone gets itchy many times when famous people pass away.

I experienced an episode of nosiness when homo-hating Sen. Jesse Helms died, I filed a FOIA, and the FBI soon revealed it had more than 1,000 pages on him. But more than a year after his demise, the feds still have not released a single page on the North Carolina politician.

The feds received another request from me in the summer when closeted gay singer Michael Jackson died, and in response the FBI said it had 600 pages on him, but didn't say when that file would be released.

(about half-way down or do a search for "Jackson")

I read, that they did. I think, among other things they wiretaped a conversation between Michael and his lawyer(?) in a private jet.
It's month ago, that I read it - so I can't provide a link right now.

As Michael said "People think they know me but they don't". We only really know what the media has told us in the past. I *doubt* that he is gay (in fact, I think there's a very small chance of it being true), but it is a possibility.

Guys, this subject is NONE of our business as well as it is none of our business if any of us here is gay, bi, multi, non or whatever.

What you don't want discussed in public about you - don't even dare asking this question about any other.

I am ashamed these discussions don't stop and I am ashamed that so many still claim the right to their microscopic view on Michael.
Do you love him?

This is very strange, and very disturbing.  600 pages is an awful lot of information. Does anybody remember offhand how big the file was on John Lennon?  I have always believed that John's death was very suspicious, and I still hold that belief to this day.  No normal, rational person would have wanted him dead.

Incidentally ( I know we shouldn't discuss this), but I don't think Michael is gay, I think he's just very very shy.  It's pretty obvious to me he enjoys the company of women!

I will say this now for the record that I do not judge anyone. I do not ask questions regarding anyones sexual orientation because I don't care. It's a private matter. All I wanted to know was where this man got the impression that MJ was gay. Personally I don't care if he is, my love for him as a human being will not change. By all means don't speak as if you are ready to throw me at the lions, I have been following and participating in this forum and MJHD for months and have not said one nasty word about anyone or to anyone. I do have my dislikes and many disagreements but have not uttered one word on those because it is not my place. I have read a lot of nasty and hateful things in this forum as well as on MJHD, I don't think my love for MJ should be questioned when there are so many other things that can be pointed out. MJ's sexual orientation is not what I am here helping to investigate on.

The ONLY reason MJ's sexuality came up is b/c we/ I were investigating who Michael Petrelis is and why he was invoking the Freedom of Information Act. His reasons for doing so were written on his blog. I have no desire to discuss Mj's sexuality. It was a hoax investigation b/c we/I wanted to find out who was requesting the information (MJ's FBI file).

Anyone can invoke the Freedom of Information Act. I did so years ago to get Elvis' FBI files, which I still have. And I requested MJ's too and I'm waiting for them now. I don't know why that Petrelis guy wants them, but his desire to get them isn't original or unique. Anyone can do it, (I am proof of that).

Right - that's why the Act was passed. The difference is this guy had an agenda w/ a sexuality slant in making his request. Now we know who (and per his blog most likely why) this person requested info. Moving on... I'm curious what are in the files. Would love to hear when you receive them.

Would love to know it too-is the writer gay? Just wondering because he seems to be stuck on a gay theme...the rabbi said Michael was very much straight. I don't trust him as far as his intentions go...but I think if MJ had been gay somehow the rabbi would have figured that out-lol. Dont start yelling at me now :(

OK, thanks. I didn't read that entire first post...just saw the basic about some blogger requesting the file. The guy is clearly an idiot. I never understand why anyone could think MJ is gay. But I don't try to figure out the those people because they are just a waste of time. I do wish they'd leave MJ alone though and quit the smear campaign against him.

Not sure when the files will arrive. I imagine it takes awhile to make copies of almost 600 pages. It took quite awhile to get Elvis' when I got those years ago. I am mostly interested to see what kind of information is in them. Most of the Elvis files were so unimportant--nothing earth-shattering in there at all. And a lot of stuff is redacted in FBI files too (hidden/blacked out), because there are certain things they simply have no legal requirement to divulge; and some of it is things like addresses, phone numbers, etc too. At any rate, it will be interesting to see what info is there. I will definitely post what information I find once it arrives! :)

I have always found it a bit odd that the FBI were involved in the search and seizure of Neverland in the Molestation Case.  What was the basis for their presence.  What were they looking for?  Regarding the FBI files, not strange that they have one, doesn't the CIA have one too?  And this blogger, Michael P, he's only looking to bust a story and rake in the dough when he gets his pathetic 15 minutes of fame.  You know, the same old, same old as regards to MJ.   :( One L.O.V.E.

It's "funny" because I just create a new topic on a old article I just found and there is a part where they talk about Michael Sexuality (but I don't know if it's BS or not).

Just before I put this article here, I wanted to say that I don't care about his sexuality because it's none of my business and it's his privacy. I don't want people to hate me here but I already asked myself if Michael was bisexual. I love him with all my heart and if he is happy then I'll whoever he is with  ;)

"He was also playing a truly dangerous game. It is clear to me that Michael was homosexual and that his taste was for young men, albeit not as young as Jordan Chandler or Gavin Arvizo.

In the course of my investigations, I spoke to two of his gay lovers, one a Hollywood waiter, the other an aspiring actor. The waiter had remained friends, perhaps more, with the singer until his death last week. He had served Jackson at a restaurant, Jackson made his interest plain and the two slept together the following night. According to the waiter, Jackson fell in love.

The actor, who has been given solid but uninspiring film parts, saw Jackson in the middle of 2007. He told me they had spent nearly every night together during their affair – an easy claim to make, you might think. But this lover produced corroboration in the form of photographs of the two of them together, and a witness.

Other witnesses speak of strings of young men visiting his house at all hours, even in the period of his decline. Some stayed overnight.

When Jackson lived in Las Vegas, one of his closest aides told how he would sneak off to a ‘grungy, rat-infested’ motel – often dressed as a woman to disguise his identity – to meet a male construction worker he had fallen in love with.

Jackson was acquitted in the Arvizo case, dramatically so, but the effect on his mental state was ruinous. Sources close to him suggest he was close to complete nervous breakdown"
.

even DIana Dimond who was determined to hurt Michael said she found NO evidence whatsoever of Michael being gay.

Shmuley, i think, he said he had a gay brother or something so i guess would have made it more comfortable for Michael to say he was gay if he was. but schmuley says over and over again that Michael never showed signs and never said he was. and nothing ever proved to shmuley that MJ was gay.

My conclusion: Michael was a straight, straight man.  ;)
though i know i have no chance which is fine. lol :?

Edit: Another vintage article i found in a mag was that basically the interviewer asked Michael straight forward if he was gay and Michael said NO.

another situation i heard in a MJ Doc that in a recorded interview, an interviewer was askin Mj if he was gay. Mj asked if the tape recorder could be turned off. Mj said that he wasnt gay but he was aware that some of his fans were so i guess he didnt want to offend them.

another thing is that Mj was all bout keeping himself in the news so im sure Mj let there be a mystery surrounding his sexuality but only the real observant people would see that Mj wasn't gay. but its funny because he seemed to be so shy that it made him a ladies man.  ;)

YOu know that article that was posted above, wasn't it written by Ian Halperin? I don't believe a word of what that guy says so far I have purchased Randy's book on MJ, I even have Schmuley's book but that Ian dude .NO way  Everytime I go into Walmart I see it and I just keep going, MJ was not gay, not at all. I do believe that he was extremly shy but not gay at all. I do believe he like women, Remember he stated he was attracted to J LO? He thought Cindy Crawford was gorgeous, Katie Couric, (Should I keep going?) Anyways....... back to the hoax!

Maybe he's doing some investigation work, too. I'd like to have a little access to those 600 pages..hmmm...but gay? Do you think Michael was a gay? I can't believe that !

Here's the FBI letter on my Michael Jackson FOIA:"

I didn't know that the FBI were involved in the search?  Which search?  The first or second one?  If you're referring to the first one, Michael was accused of kidnapping so it makes sense that the FBI was there.  I'm not surprised there is an FBI file on him - he's was around the presidents from early on and then later he was arrested.  Anyone that has been arrested has an FBI # and file.
