He's hard to figure out because he never looks or sounds the same. The mastered tracks on his facebook sound a lot better than he sounds live. A few a the songs creep me out..it's like he's trying to sound like Mike and sometimes it sounds pretty close. I just don't like that. I think it's great to be inspired, as an artist I've always been inspired by MJ. But what I learned most from him is that you have to be yourself and be unique in order to make any kind of art that will stand the test of time. Jason is talented but it seems like he's just trying to imitate MJ...

What you have just witnessed could be the end of a particularly terrifying nightmare. It isn’t. It’s the beginning.

When JM sings, it does sound as if he's trying really hard to sound like Michael Jackson. His voice is similar, indeed, but LISTEN closely - sometimes it doesn't sound right, it's not natural and effortless like it should be when singing with your own voice.

Wow, I have to agree with you!  I have seen at least three different photos of this guy and none of them are the same people!

Guys do you remember the incident I think it happened in 1990 with the group Milli Vanilli. The big Media Hoax in which they were lip-synching and they were not the original singers. Those guys were used because they were marketable at that time. There was another case with the group C&C Music Factory in which one of the Weather Girls really sung the song, but she was not put into the video because of her weight and use another person that was not as heavy. So that is twice in the music industry that was done in a short period of time.  Sometimes history repeats it self.

Like Elvis, JM is the first imitator of MJ with some talent.
Many others will come in the future! Of course nobody will replace MJ.
Singing in the studio and on stage,
are two different things and we see at once that he sings bad live.
Now we know why it is not yet known internationally
JM has the voice that is false, it needs a voice teacher,
after that may be, it could well imitate MJ a little better! 8-)

Whoa! The video the previous user posted...This 'JM' is very different from the one on his CD cover. According to that image Jason has kind of a ...I don't know what to call it, kind of like a latino look - dark hair and caramel skin. In that video, he certainly looks different and he's gained a few pounds.
