M J"S landlord
December 08, 2009, 09:57:33 PM
I just read on Yahoo that the owner of the house MJ was staying in is sueing his estate for damages that INCLUDE payment for REPLACEMENT of PHONE and ALARM SYSTEMS!!!!  Isn't that interesting?

Sounds abit scary to me. WHY would Michael intentionally damage the alarm system  :? Even being a hoax, you would think that he wouldnt want to damage someone elses property :?

I dont understand the phone system, but I do understand the alarm/security system. The alarm and security system Im guessing are hooked up to one another and the security tapes are missing now too. So, maybe whoever trashed the house, if its true, is the same person who took the tapes. The messed up the alarm/security system to make sure no one traced their steps.....I dont know, just a thought.

It does ring alarm bells that the security tape system was damaged and we have known for a long time that the tapes were missing. This needs more investigation.

No they said this was regarding the house in Las Vegas. Not the one in LA where he "died" in.

Thanks for the links ILUMMJ...
So many money hungry people.  Why didn't they sue right away?  He left that house quite a while ago, right? and why would MJ intentionally destroy the phone and alarm systems?  Its utter nonsense...Who knows if this was done after MJ left the house.  Now that it has been spread to the seven winds the estate has quite some cash...these leeches are after the money. Anything for money...

Quote from: "Zilda"
I remember reading something about MJ removing phones and security cameras from the inside of the mansion on Carolwood Drive. Because he did not want to risk anybody taping him and selling pictures or audio tapes to the media. He wanted privacy. I can't remeber where I read it though...

What I find extremely strange about this is MJ moved back to lala land the land of intrusion and wanted privacy. I don't understand this at all. He had privacy in Ireland & Bahrain but moved. Imo MJ didn't want anyone tapping into his discussions about "dying"

This is total shite!  I own a security alarm company, they would not be able to disconnect phone lines to the Security System or alter the Security Alarm system in any way without setting the alarm off and generating an armed response.  Unless it was a DIY security system (which I doubt very much - as Insurance for the property would not be obtained with a DIY system)  As for Cameras and Recording.  You can activate and de-activate the cameras as you so wish, I would say that no-one especially not Michael Jackson would have Cameras in his bedroom due to the fact that there are so many staff and he would be opening himself up to a load of possible weirdness.  As for Tapes - no one has tapes anymore dear god do you people still use VHS Videos?
Well the rest of the world does not and CCTV systems do not use tapes either.  They would have either a HDD recorder on site or in a remote location where the signals are sent probably via IP.

Anyway I want to work in LA if thats the kind of money you get for one house.  Utterly ridiculous.

This is yet another silly comment from TMZ to keep the story alive.

Something I havent understand either is why was MJ renting houses after the raid?  Im sure he did own some other property, he mentions something about paintings or some other article bought for another house in the  Bashir documentary.  :?
