John Anthony "Jack" White (né Gillis) (born July 9, 1975), better known as Jack White and often credited as Jack White III,[1] is an American musician, record producer and occasional actor. He is best known as the guitarist, pianist, and lead vocalist of The White Stripes.
During the 1990s, White was a part-time musician in various underground bands in Detroit, while working by day as an upholsterer. White formed The White Stripes in 1997 with Meg White, his then wife. However, they claimed in interviews to be siblings. The band went on to have a string of critically acclaimed albums, with their third, White Blood Cells, catapulting them to international stardom. He was ranked #17 on Rolling Stone's list of "The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time".[2] White's popular and critical success with The White Stripes enabled him to collaborate as a solo artist with other renowned musicians, such as Beck, The Rolling Stones, Jeff Beck,[3] Alicia Keys, Bob Dylan and Loretta Lynn, whose 2004 album Van Lear Rose he produced and performed on. In 2005, White became a founding member of the rock band The Raconteurs. In 2009, he became a founding member of his third group, The Dead Weather.[4]

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't trying to make fun of anyone. I was seriously thinking at one point that Jack White (in a sense, not entirely) resembles Jack White. Sorry if it came off as some kind of a joke, but that wasn't my intention at all. I personally, in my humble opinion, do see some similarities between the two, Perhaps on a more subtle note, but nevertheless, at least in my mind, I can draw a few comparisons. Everyone is entitled to there thoughts and feelings So please don't criticize what you cannot see with your own eyes, but, i'm sure if you really took the time to examine, you'd find something there.

Well, I heard a little while after Michael passed that Depp wanted to commemorate his legacy by playing Michael Jackson in a movie, but that was just a rumor. But Yeah, I agree. Jack White looks more like Johnny Depp than MJ himself.

I think they may have mistook you for saying he was a double for him. Maybe I am wrong though.
I think he looks a little like Michael, but because he doesn't have the eyeliner and his face shape hurts the comparison.
I think it's funny that one person said "except for dark eyes" and another said "except for long hair"...lol..
yea, he doesn't look like MJ.. except that he has long hair, except he has black hair, except he has black eyebrows, except he has dark hair, except his hair line is high, except he has dark eyes...lol

I don't see it personally be interesting if he really did though tie it in with the 7 nation army vid and the illuminati style pyramid shapes. but i don't see it. Really looks like a young johnny depp though in the second pic which is no bad thing ;)
