Title: The Jack5ons: A Family Dynasty (Reality Mini-series Show)
Post by: zyla on December 06, 2009, 12:10:27 AM
NEW YORK – A reality show miniseries about the Jackson family will premiere Dec. 13 on A&E, the network says. Back-to-back hour episodes will air that night at 9 p.m. EST.

"The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty" focuses on brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Tito and Marlon as they prepare to reunite for a concert tour. It also chronicles their lives as they cope with Michael's drug-induced death in June.

There will be six episodes, the network said.

"This deeply intimate portrait will provide viewers with a raw and honest look inside a musical dynasty," said A&E and Bio Channel vice president Robert Sharenow.

It remained unclear whether Michael Jackson or his children, Paris, Prince Michael and Prince Michael II (known as Blanket), will be seen in the shows.

The cable network had originally announced "The Jacksons" as a documentary special in May, before the star's death. In August, "Entertainment Tonight" aired what A&E said was leaked footage from the special.

The 50-year-old King of Pop died June 25, weeks before he was scheduled to begin a string of comeback shows in London.

Are any of you planning on watching the show?
And if so, what are you expecting? Do you think one of them will let a little something slip? I personally hope so  ;)  :)

I have seen the A&E previews for the reality show. It comes on Dec 13th at 9pm Eastern Standard Time. I will watch it undoubtedly because I am curious to see what the brothers will do. I know in a trailer of it one of the brothers said MJ would never had been as big as he was if it weren't for Jackson 5. It sounded like jealousy to me. The simple fact of the matter was MJ taking off on his own and amasking fame and fortune out of this world and them never being able to hold a candle to him. Everytime they wanted to tour they had to beg and plead with MJ through his mom or attorneys to get him to participate. Why? Because the fans would only come to see MJ not just them. They were never marketable. They alone never sold tickets without MJ. Now that MJ has left the scene I honestly don't believe the fans will take to the brothers in lieu of him being out of the picture. Aside, from the some of the brothers ( Jermaine) having done horrible things to MJ trying to destroy him. They are not interesting at all. I know alot of us will tune in for clues only not just to see the brothers. Keep the Faith!

yep im watching. with my pint of ice cream.

there will be 2 new episodes premiered tonight.

Im sure it will all be about the brothers but not Michael. Seriously.. do they really think we wanna see them tour without Michael?

I can't believe that crud. So Why was it all photographed and captured on film? Who the heck would wanna save footage like that for their personal collection? First off the funeral and memorial were disresespectful to MJ's memory if he really did pass away. and second why capture it all on film for nothing? For the Jackson's library or Mj's library? bshh.. lol
Sorry Hope Im not lashing out at you. :)

New. Jackson Family (2009)
Basically It says in the opener that they announce plans for a 40th anniversery album, but the death of Michael ends their dream.

Then the second one says along the lines of them mourning for Michael.

Now correct me if I am wrong, but I didnt know they were in the middle of making these 6 episodes before MJ "died"
If that was the case why did they not cancel the show after he "passed" Why go on with it to show how they mourned?
Im sorry it just doesnt make sense to me..

Take good notes, folks.  I can already tell it's going to be very interesting...!!

So far, they mentioned TMZ reporting on their tour, talked about how the media gets between them and the fans, and mentioned michael getting the cuffs put on him on CNN.

In their opening statement Jackie also wore an abercrombie shirt with a 77 on it.

They have also mentioned their frustration with tabloids several times...

Someone said "This is it" when they walked into 2300 Jackson Street.  As an aside, on LKL a few nights ago, they could not recall which of them went on that trip back to their childhood home.

And Jermaine has worn these shirts...
Green w. Ireland on it
Black one ... looks like a gravestone on it
Bahrain white and red one

Tito keeps wearing ones with a 4... don't know what that is

Marlon wearing hat w. FBI

You can tell that the brothers are trying to help others understand the context of why their dad felt he needed to be hard on them.   Gary, IN is a rough place, and their dad was trying to save them from the streets, and disciplined them in the way he knew how.  It seems that the brothers see that now that they are older.
Title: Re: The Jack5ons: A Family Dynasty (Reality Mini-series Show)

The 4 brothers are havivng a discussion about not getting along well and how it's affecting their kids.  Jermaine just said something about "breathing".  It was very similar to the closing of TII.

Tito (I think) has worn 2 shirts that are identical with the exception of the color.  One is pink and one is black.  They are Polo shirts with the number 4 prominently embroidered three (maybe more) places on the shirt.

They're showing Jermaine's announcement and reaction from around the world.  They also played a portion of the 911 call.  They played parts of Gone Too Soon and then put a memorial statement on the screen.

It might be nothing but did any catch who that photo was of in Tito's office on the shelf behind him? It looked like a blonde woman with her hair done like in the 50's - like an old photo. I wasn't taping the show so can't see it again but was hoping maybe someone else got a better look. It was in the first episode where him and Jackie were in his office talking about MJ's trial and the media.

Jackie, Tito and Marlon were having breakfast seated in the outdoor portion of a cafe.  Some photographers showed up.  They were talking about Jermaine.  I really think that I saw the "ambulance photo" guy.

They're are going to talk about how people are talking about "cashing in" on MJ's death.  It looks like they'll speak with Jermaine.

The brothers seem very sincere (especially Jackie and Marlon)        Also,,,, May I add Jermaine is kinda rough with his wife LOL!! I mean did you hear him? if anyone's watching, u know how jermaine didn't show up to the photoshoot cause of 'pink eye'? well one of the brothers said: "i dont think he didn't show up cause of pink eye. i think something else is going on."

perhaps jermaine is the only brother that knows?

in fact im pretty sure.. because the brothers all act as a unit except him. he acts withdrawn. like he's not saying something.

Ok here is all that i picked up on the show..

I've been itching to write all this during the show so i wouldnt forget but my laptop is broken so i have to wait to go into the computer room. anywho...

I can't believe the lack of times Michael was mentioned especially int he first episode. though i know they said alot of the footage was taken before june 25th. there was that one point in the first episode where the 4 bros are having a sit down and talking about coming together but never mentioning like yes now lets call up michael and unite with him. the 4 of the bros acted like they were the only four.

one of titos kids said he thought Michael's "death" was a hoax but then said he got more facts.

Still I see no mourning. The 4 are in the studio, doing photoshoots smiling big, I see no signs of mourning.

they always like to remind thpublic that they are not just a show biz family but they are a loving family. well show it, yall!. they treat Michael's "death" as if a distant relative or business partner died and even then i've seen people mourn more over the loss of a classmate or business partner than the jacksons are mouring over Michael.

the brothers were upset in their brief accounts of what they were doing the day of June 25th. Jackie just looked down and wiped his eye but i saw no red eyes or tears. so idk

they still say Michaels "gone", not the 'd' word. (died)

at the end of the first episdoe they wrote RIP Michael JOSEPH Jackson.

I have to admit I cried once the 911 tapes were being aired. but i didnt find anything real significant to worry about so far.

i dont mean to sound liek a stubborn hard head that if Mj is gone, i dont wanna accept it. i dont mean to be like that. but i havent seen anything real different that what we have already been seeing and hearing. nothing that really screamed to me that mj was gone.

anyone agree with me?

So everyone keep the faith

It seemed to me as though Jermaine wants the limelight-- being the headliner, my songs, not showing up for the photo shoot. He comes off as though he wants to be seen as separate. The Jacksons, to me, is just another singing group without Michael. Michael was the essence of that group. Michael was the group. That was proven when he went solo. He didn't need them to be a success, but they needed Michael to be a success. That hasn't changed.

And Jermaine's shirt did say Royalty. I don't know what that was all about. Jermaine does not come off good on this show. When I saw his wife putting his shoe on his foot, I said, "Whaaaaaat?! I can't believe this." It was bad enough him ordering her around, and not wanting lipstick and wiping it off, but the shoe thing was just too much. Again, Jermaine is not coming off well at all.

I'm sure it must have been hard for Jermaine when he was the lead singer in the Jackson 5, and then his dad changed things. Michael... he was... Michael. He cannot be reproduced.

serious? oh well i guess i missed it. seriously i was kinda bored with the whole thing intil they spoke about my Michael. thats when i woke up. sheesh.. seriously i sat through two hours of them talking about themselves recording. i still didnt sense too much grief from them. i dont mean to judge. i mean people have different ways of grieving but we are still all human beings and unless you are a zombie, if a loved one passes one is gonna show a sign of grief. cant help it.

have these shows made anyone change their mind on the whole hoax thing?

this show actually made me rethink the whole possibility of Mj being in danger (if he faked his death).

Yeah Jermaine is NOT coming off good at all in this show.

They have said he died and used the word death a lot. I mean what if we are wrong? Here his family is saying he is dead and we are holding on to hope that he's still with us. It's something to think about for a second.

BUT then rememeber all the stuff that JUST doesn't add up. I mean would he allow only some of the family to know?? Who knows?? That would kinda f'd up IMO

Interesting that Randy seems like the one person Mike works with, to my knowledge, and yet he is nowhere to be found in this show. He's the one I wanna see/hear from.

It breaks my heart to think he is truly dead, and I do believe he is alive but I hope I am not believing for the wrong reasons, yes there is too much that doesn't add up, but then I see how much my heart breaks when I think he is gone and I will never see him again. Am I making any sense

antoehr reason you can't believe the jacksons is because they were obviiously fibbers. first they said jermain had pink eye, he had the flu then jermaine said he was exhausted. so if they pretend to be upset.. cant help but question.
i totally comprehend what youre saying. you dont wanna live a lie but then there are things that dont add up so its kidna like well.. Maybe Mj is alive. but then constantly people say hes dead and the family try to act the part and it tears you down again. then coincidences or strange events take place and its back to square one. its a "rollercoaster"

btw i dont mean to drag the kids into this. i really dont but whos to say they dont know (if this is a hoax).. the children do not say anything to the public except for paris' speech at the memorial that it seemed like Janet initiated. so if they were to be let in on it to spare their feelings from hurt they wouldnt tell.

keep in mind, on LKL, they said they started this in January....so who knows how much was done early, and then they just threw MJ's (death) into it....This silly ass show is not going to convince me MJ died at all...

No way MJ could pull off this hoax and tell everyone in his family.  I mean there are a million of them.
Just from looking at this show I see the disfuntionalism of the family. MJ knew this and only told those who he could trust.
Randy wanted nothing to do with the show before MJ faked his death and Taj, MJ's most trusted nephew used the word  "hoax" that was strange because you'd think he say a joke or a false report. I mean the word hoax was not something I used until I found these MJHD sites.  So I'm convinced Randy, Taj (who was also at Universial studios with Auntie Liz and the kids), mother Kate and maybe Janet. That's it. So I'm not shocked to see Jackie, Marlon and yes Jermaine talk about MJ as if he was really dead.

First, I want to say that each brother reminds me so much of Michael; certain looks, expressions, that soft voice.  Sad in many ways.  It’s that sadness when someone is noticeably absent.

Here are some other things I noticed:

TMZ mentioned early and several times.  TMZ also promoting series on site.
Jacksons stating early on that the media is garbage.
Fake tears.  Boy Jermaine is good!  All brothers were crying.
They must have been reading the site about us talking about why no tears or sadness from the family members.  Jackie mentioned mom was crying too.
They also said the word dead.  Something they never said previously.
Tito’s three son’/musical group The Three Ts said NOT A HOAX.
Why would that even come to mind within the family?  And why use the word hoax?
Jermaine is wearing and camera noticeably focusing on the Bahrain t-shirt.

In remembering their brother Michael

Jermaine says
The light isn’t turned off it is brighter.
Legacy lives on.
Spirit is very much alive.
They see us as entertainers but we are human being.
They will never understand that.
They who?  The fans?  The media?
Referring to all of them or just Michael?
Earth was not ready for someone like him (Michael)
He is at peace.
He went through a lot.
They tortured him.

Seems to me that they keep reiterating the same points….anybody (media) are you listening?

Marlon
How did the Marlon get a copy of the tape of the guy at the airport to show it on TV?
Marlon wearing an FBI hat at the airport?

Jackie
I am not afraid of dying now that my brother is gone.
I would like to be with him someday soon… to see him… I am sure I will soon.
WHAT?!?!?!

So far I am not convinced that Michael is dead, gone, no longer.....whatever they want to call it.  The Jackson 4 are indeed fine actors as well as entertainers.

How soon will Randy appear and why is he also noticeably absent?  Where is he?

IMHO this is all leading up to something and is part of the bigger plan.

I don't have cable and am hoping I can view these episodes on youtube or another place on line. Does anyone know if that is possible? I truly feel there are clues in this.

I personally find it hard to believe that they started filming these shows prior to MJ's "death". I think it was a rush job for them to earn some $$$$ and be thrust into the public eye. I really think that Jermaine, in particular, craves it!

I am quite concerned how you talk of Jermaine treating his wife as a servant. Is this an act or is he truly out of order? And, I guess I wasn't aware Jermaine remarried. Is that wife # 4? At any rate is he wearing the "royalty" shirt when he treats his wife like this? Could that indicate anything?  Or, is he projecting his anger on her because he is frustrated over not having total control over this situation?

Isn't Randy married to a former wife of Jermaine?  I thought I read that somewhere? It is so twisted and convoluted that it is difficult to believe much of it. Are they all so competitive that they have to vie for each others love interest? At any rate, if there is any truth to that perhaps Jermaine and Randy don't get along at all; hence the reason Randy is not in the episodes. I would like to personally think that Randy is more useful dedicating himself to Michael than be wrapped up in taping the shows. Yes, I too, heard that MJ and Randy were pretty close and worked musically together. It makes sense that those two would be the most likely pair to associate with one another.

Speaking of the "4's" on the shirt:  could it indicate Michael and his 3 children? How many times did it repeat again on the shirt?  Boy, I feel as if I am missing out big time.

I also think that the shirts "bahrain and Ireland" mean something significant. It is too coincidental and how likely is it that Jermaine would just happen to have shirts from those two places?  It's a set-up.

To all those viewers, please keep us posted, I think there is much to learn here. This is scripted so they are being instructed to use the words "dead and died." However, the brothers have greater liberty to select their attire--and what is on it and their odd behavior (we need to pay particular attention to the dynamics) in the shows. I think it is so worth analyzing.

oh yeah this post above me reminded me that the show did seem very rehearsed and fake especially the scenes of one of the sons (i forget who) who was sitting with their mother at the table chatting i guess about jermaine's disappointment over lost vocals. some of the footage seemed fake.

Hearing the 911 call again just... :( ...OMGosh, I just couldn't help it, I bawled    I especially felt bad when Jackie came on talking about Michael.  He seems really sincere but did anyone notice when he said "I'm sure I'll see him soon", he looks directly into the camera.  Almost like he's hoping a certain person ( ;) ) is watching...idk...that's just me.  During the press conference for the 40th anniversary thing, Jermaine gives us a "Michael-style" victory/peace sign.  Oh, did anyone catch the part where they are in the studio and Tito (doing an impression of Joe) says, "Do it just like I told ya".  Well Marlon starts laughing and Jermaine just has this dirty look on his face.  Then you hear "Dude, that's cold".

What do this mean??

Many fans have noticed the number 7 being associated with MJ a lot.

Here is a list from TMZ:
-- Michael Jackson signed his will on 7/7/02.
-- Michael Jackson's memorial was on 7/7/09 ... exactly 7 years after the will was signed.
-- Michael Jackson's two biggest hits -- "Black & White" and "Billie Jean" -- were each #1 for 7 weeks.
-- Michael Jackson's three biggest albums -- "Thriller," "Bad" and "Dangerous" -- each produced 7 top 40 hits
-- Michael Jackson was the 7th of 9 children.
-- Michael Jackson was born in 1958 ... 19 + 58 = 77
-- Michael Jackson died on the 25th ... 2 + 5 = 7
-- Michael Jackson has 7 letters in his first and last name.

I am so not ready to say all that I am thinking about this show. One thing though, why are they JUST NOW discussing the group split from back when they left Motown and signed with Epic? I was side eying them on that part. In over 20 years Jermaine has never once sat down and said look I was hurt when you guys moved on without me? It seemed so fake. Most of the stuff they said we remember from the Jacksons An American Dream movie that Jermaine produced. I am just like in WTF mode. I am so not buying what they're selling!

I have something to say about this show and something I found, and I don't even know if anyone else noticed it but...

The 911 call was DIFFERENT! I mean, I'm pretty sure all the things that were said are the same here, but when they show the 911 call, I think it was the second time the caller was speaking, in his last sentence the voice CHANGED. It sounded to me like it was the 911 OPERATOR speaking words that the caller should have been saying... make sense?

Would it be far fetched to speculate that the 911 call was actually made by one person, and they just changed the voice? Could this have been a recording of one person, or two people, reading through a script of what the call should sound like? Please have another listen. I have listened to the real 911 call many times, and when I heard the 911 call on the show last night I immediately noticed the change...

Now what does this mean :?:

This was posted online in May, in a Press Release about upcoming TV shows on A&E (Here's the link: http://www.aetv.com/news/?id=446840 (http://www.aetv.com/news/?id=446840)):

UNSCRIPTED SPECIALS:

The Jackson Family (working title) - "The Jackson Family" is a riveting one-hour look at the Jackson 5 musical dynasty. Behind the headlines lies a captivating family, whose non-stop lifestyle has been unwillingly played out before cameras. After 40 years in the business together, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Randy, have sold over 250 million albums worldwide. Today, they allow unprecedented access into their world as they embark on their most personal reunion album and tour. With never before seen footage and interviews with the private family the special captures the intimate details of the Jackson 5 as entertainers, entrepreneurs, brothers, fathers and sons.

"The Jackson Family" (w.t) is produced for A&E Network by Point 7 Entertainment with Jodi Gomes serving as executive producer. Also serving as executive producers are Jermaine Jackson, Jackie Jackson, Tito Jackson and Marlon Jackson. Executive producers for A&E are Robert Sharenow, Scott Lonker and Stephen Harris.

Notice it was originally planned as a one-hour special. So then read this that appeared in July (http://news-briefs.ew.com/2009/07/13/ae ... -what-now/ (http://news-briefs.ew.com/2009/07/13/ae-jackson-reality-show-what-now/)) :

A&E Jackson reality show: What now?

Jul 13, 2009, 06:00 AM | by Kate Ward

According to the Hollywood Reporter, an hour-long reality special following Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Randy Jackson—commissioned months before Michael Jackson's death—will likely have to change its tone following the King of Pop's passing. Tentatively titled The Jackson Family, the A&E show was scheduled to air next year, and the network had already finished shooting for the special. No additional footage has been shot since Jackson's death, but it appears as though A&E has not made a decision regarding whether or not to air the special. "We have started discussing internally and with the family but have not yet decided what direction to take with the show," A&E execs told Hollywood Reporter in a statement. "We are respecting the family's wishes right now, and at the appropriate time we will all decide what direction this program to take, so stay tuned."

So basically, once MJ "died," the one-hour special became something more. I think there are 4 or 5 episodes total now.

perhaps jermaine is the only brother that knows?

in fact im pretty sure.. because the brothers all act as a unit except him. he acts withdrawn. like he's not saying something.

you know what...
that makes sense.
They all attended the photo shoot. Minus Jermaine.
They seem to be upset about it.
And remember when they were all about to meet up with Jermaine, and Marlon asked "Did you see anything wrong with his eye?" And Tito just gave him a look that seemed to say "Not a thing"

Ok. But here's my problem. During the Jermain photo shoot, there was a little 3 second clip showing Jermaine's wife putting eyedrops in his eye. Either that was for show or he really does have pink eye.

Here's another idea. Maybe the brothers do know. But they're mad bcs Jermaine helping out Michael is beginning to interfere with their own plans. Idk. I just thought that up.  :P

:?   Did anyone catch Marlon saying WORD FOR WORD what he said at the end of the memorial? About MJ being judged and ridiculed and how much pain can someone take......maybe now they will leave you alone???????????? CAN ANYONE SAY SCRIPTED?????!!!!!!!!!!! I also caught his saying "This is it, this is really it" when he is in Africa talking about slave route. LOL  I cannot wait to see how crazy the next episode is. It is supposed to be about the TII premier.

One of my favorite interviews!! I think MJ was saying that he likes Indian culture and that's why they're his people.  :)

I was watching all the repeats yesterday.  In the background of one of the scenes where they are talking to Jermaine in his house.  Behind him is a big portrait of I believe his wife Halima.  In the picture which IMO the camera made it a point to focus on are big, beautiful butterflies.  They look like monarch butterflies.  I hadn't noticed that when I watched previously.   Maybe I'm just reading too much into things.  But it just stuck out to me.

And, of course, the symbolism behind butterflies in general......

http://www.scootermydaisyheads.com/fine ... erfly.html (http://www.scootermydaisyheads.com/fine_art/symbol_dictionary/butterfly.html)

Anyone else catch the butterfly picture in Jermaine's house?

I just watched it and am curious...

They kept referring, emphatically, to being on LOCKDOWN.  Then when a clip of next weeks episode, came on.  Again, the announcer stated how they are ON LOCKDOWN!!
O.k. we GET it!  I just have a feeling that it's a "clue" of come sort!

Also, I usually dislike Jermaine and find his "tactics" questionable. However,
I do agree with him in wanting to go with JIMMY JAM/TERRY LEWIS, as opposed to this "other" producer (Mark? whom, I THINK is a LOOSE cannon).  Jermaine seems ADAMANT on NOT going with this guy.  Possibly because Jermaine is in cahoots with
"MICHAEL" and they have a specific "strategy", in place.

I'm getting a "vibe" from Salima (Jermaine's wife), that she's been coerced into being IN on the "HOAX"  She'd HAVE to be, if Jermaine is the ringleader of it (or "second" in command...ie...MJ).   Did you see how after the TII premiere, as they were leaving and someone was aking Jermaine questions, she had a look on her face as if to say....this whole HOAX is getting way out of hand and I have NO choice BUT to follow along.

I think behind-the-scenes, Jermaine may be "controlling" (with her). Much like, his "father" (UNFORTUNATELY). He seems a times, dismissive, when she's trying to make a POINT or show him affection.  IE...dont get LIPSTICK on "me".

What's up with TITO? Is he going through a midlife crisis or WHAT?  He reminds me of that "dirty" old uncle that always gets a little carried away.
I wanted to yell CUT! when he was at that bar, telling his GF to get DRUNK, so he could "do what he DOES"?!!!   Eeeew.
"TITO".....haven't you been listening?  SLOOOOWW DOWWWNNNN!

Jermaine's wife is GORGEOUS. i really just dislike how he treats her though.

i noticed no tears from Tito after he left from the premiere since he was grieving & couldn't understand why michael had to die.

That's what I was thinking.   Basically this show is all about Michael isn't it?  It opens with a song Michael is singing, MIchael is subject of just about every conversation and scene in the show.  Makes you wonder who really is producing the show doesn't it?

There were no tears from Tito regarding leaving the premier, because he didn't go.
He "wasn't ready" to see it yet.
And there were plenty of tears from Tito when he was talking about Michael.
He did use the "died" word too.

Yeah that was the interview outside the Havenhurst mansion. I don't think I ever saw him give another intimate interview like that. He was saying "my people" like the way many African Americans say "that's my dog, we peoples, or he's my man" I hope I explained that well. It's basically slang for saying I love this or that thing, person, place. He loved the Indian culture and I hope many people on here know I mean East Indian and not the term used to described Native Americans (which they despise being called since they are not from India).

i feel so bad for her when she kisses him or tries to hug him and he just pushes her away.
what is up with that? she's beautiful! he should be all over her!
clearly, michael needs to give jermaine some lessons in the love department ;l

I just finished watching the last episode. The secret finale is the brothers go to MJ's grave at Forest Lawn. But you don't see MJ's grave. The brothers do decide to work with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and continue to work on the 40th anniversary show and cd. It was a little emotional. But I still believe that MJ's alive.

CC-1138, also known as Bacara, was a clone marshal commander who served in the Grand Army of the Republic. After receiving training in the traditions and culture of the Journeyman Protectors, CC-1138 was given command of the 21st Nova Corps, . . . During this time he developed a reputation as a loner—this was due to his training in the culture of the Journeyman Protectors, as opposed to his clone brothers who had mostly been taught the ways of the Mandalorians. His loner's reputation carried over into his career as a soldier, but it never stopped him from putting the needs of his troops ahead of his own.

nova: a star that flares and fades: a star that suddenly increases dramatically in brightness and then fades to its original luminosity over a short period of months or years

I'm confused... when is the Jackson show finale? Was it the episode when they visit Michael's "grave" or is there still another one? I've heard rumor about a secret finale...was that it? Is the first season over or is there one more episode?

(I'm in the US).

Thanks!

mehere, I also noticed the picture/painting with the butterflies behind Jermaine. On a side note I thought Muslims were forbidden to have pictures depicting faces i.e. no false idols. I could be mistaken on this point though. There was also another painting behind JJ which looked similar in style to the Paul Oz painting of MJ which was seen on this site.

Some things I noticed from episode no? of the reality show that are not probably relevant but I want to mention them anyway. Mainly because they don't make any sense to me. It could also indicate that the show is a work of fiction. Firstly I thought that Jermaine was a vegan. It was talked about on the show. So I was surprised to see JJ tucking into some shark jerky when the brothers were frequenting a fish market. Also back at the lockdown retreat JJ quite happily had some tuna steak. I'm a veggie and would not eat animal flesh, so how come a vegan whom are stricter with what products they eat be eating a juicy tuna?  I don't want to sound judgemental of JJ eating habit's but if this show is true then he is the worst vegan ever. On an incidental point regarding the wine which was poured over the tuna, I think it is disrespectful to disregard JJ's stance on no alcohol. I thought Muslims adhered to strictly no alcohol even in food? The last issue is regarding what looked like a crocodile or alligator guitar case that JJ had on his back when he was standing outside with Tito. A sincere vegan would not have a real skin/hide from an animal. If indeed that is what it was, maybe it was fake croc/'gator?

I found an article about the different types of vegetarians. It does mention that vegetarians can have fish. I do know a few vegetarians they do eat fish and chicken.  About the Alcohol, that was Tito's idea. He said he hope Jermaine would not see that episode of him pouring wine on the fish.  I think he just wanted to his brother to lighten up a little. Enjoy the fruits.  Here's is the link

techdiva, Thank you for posting the link. I know there are various degrees of vegetarianism and veganism but being a true veggie/vegan does not include animal flesh or in the case of vegans any animal derivatives. I don't think Jermaine can really class himself as a vegan. A vegetarian in my book would be pushing it. JJ maybe likes the tag "vegan" but I think he is kidding himself on.

Yeah, I agree with you about Jermaine. He tries to be something he not. He is all show. I use to like Jermaine, but looks like the green monster has taken over him. I hated way he treats his wife.  I wonder how long this marriage will last.

I was looking at Jodi Gomes twitter today and she is all bashing all these new reality shows.  For those who don't know she is the producer of the Jackson Family Dynasty reality show.  She all criticizing Kirstie Alley new show.  She's like all she does is focus on being fat.  She also talking about Brandy and Ray J's new show.  She's like when did Ray J become hard.  Then she metions Chilli's show like I hope Chilli from TLC has some substance to her show because I like her.  I'm like who is she trying to bash everybody.  She basically saying a lot of the other shows are bafoonery.  It just kinda irritate me because I feel like the Jackson show didn't really have any substance to it either.  It seem scripted to me in a lot of ways.  All the show did was focus on the Jacksons trying to return to the spotlight without MJ.  Honestly the only reason people watched the show is because we wanted to see how they dealt with the aftermath of MJ.  I personally feel it was way too soon for them to even do that show.  I really hope MJ is alive because I think it would be kinda tacky if he really passed and they were so quick to air that show.  Jodi seem to always act like she know everything about the Jacksons too.  I bet she never even met MJ.

It is odd for her to bash the other shows. Reality shows have good and not so good componenets. She leaves herself open for other producer's to trash her projects in the future. Make friends in that industry and not enemies. One of those groups may have a job for her in the future ...or not.
