I live in the US and this video and 'Give In To Me', I didn't even know there were videos for those songs. It's weird that they have no problem spreading nasty gossip about MJ but won't show ANY of his videos! Shame really.

i think it was banned because it indicated that people in high up positions used prostitutes and something about MJ in the video showed sectrets .. like the number system etc.... things the big people didnt want "the little people" to know.

t wasn't a full ban was it, I think it was just on MTV and VH1 that they didn't show the original video. I think it could have been for a couple of reasons:
- The actual main video was filmed more for the fans; after there was demand for it after Michael beatboxed the tune on his interview with Oprah. Because he was touring at the time, Michael was only able to film certain parts of it, the parts he wasn't able to film were completed with a stand-in, a MJ impersonator named E'Casanova. E'Cas can be seen in the scenes where Michael is in the car, sleeping on the plane, and waving at the old man before getting on the helicoptor. Maybe they didn't want to show a video that would get criticism for not being entirely of Michael?
- The video, directed by David Fincher, contains a story of high-class prostitution; after the Panther scene at the end of the Black or White video, Michael was being criticised heavily for what people felt was inappropriate for children to watch. Perhaps Sony didn't want to get that kind of criticism again and decided to not let the video be shown in the States?
