She has written this:
"I am planning to attend the OPUS event next week. I am happy to have been invited, because it is a chronicle of my life's work"
There is something about this woman that irritates me... when will people get off MJs coat-tails? I know she was his make up artist for many years, but now that he has died she has come out of the woodwork and is talking all over facebook and putting pictures of MJs "crypt" which is supposed to be private, and she also says she is writing a book on MJ.
The Opus isnt the chronicle of her lifes work... its supposed to be a chronicle of MJs lifes work!! She put make up on the man and thats it... and i am pretty sure MJ told her how he wanted his face to look anyways!!!
Im just getting very angry at all these people who have suddenly popped up on facebook and twitter who state they were close friends of Michaels before they slowly and surely sell him out!!! :cry:

If she was a true friend and she truly loved him and respected him, then she would keep quiet and not write a book. :x (and i bet the money she makes from the book goes straight into her pocket and not to charity)

An "opus" is latin for "work".. basically its a posh and expensive biography in pictures.
They are marketing this Michael Jackson one at £189!!!!

The Opus isn't something KF has written. It is large book (weighing almost 40#) that MJ himself was involved in pre-June 25th. I ordered a copy in October...can't wait to get it! It is supposed to have many unpublished pics in it, along with some fun technological aspects that MJ was also excited about when he got involved.
Don't know if KF is writing her own book. Seems like there have been rumors about that possibility. Wouldn't surprise me if she did though.

I believe they starting shipping on December 7, and all copies are supposed to be delivered by Xmas day...at least that was what it said at the time I ordered.

If you think about what an opus is in musical composition, it's a large collection or body of work. In the case of the book itself, it's basically a collection of works about Michael's life (articles, photos, tributes, etc). It is supposed to span Michael's life and career and have a lot of exclusive (even some unpublished) content. The website gives lots of info.

I read somwhere that lmp did not like kf but cant remember where or if it was true I think it was the fact that kf was to involved with Michael lmpmight have been jealous of the power she had over him , wish I could remember what it said word for word.

that's why the paps got MEGA FRENZY when they saw Michael hang out with KF one evening but KF said they were just 2 friends having dinner, not a date at all
but that's after the divorce

KF's FB page gives me a headache!!!!!!!!!!!
A fan on there went to FL with flowers etc etc and stated under one of her pics that she didnt take photos of the crypt through the window out of respect.
I thought EAT THAT KF, she blatently abused a privilidge ( i am not convinced they are real anyway) and fans even see the wrongness of it LOL.

Can't figure out how to ask question in a new thread, but I can't access Karen Faye's main f/book anymore. Her 2nd one is still accessible, but the first is gone.
Anyone else having this problem? Has she deleted her original account?

KF irritates me as well. She claims to be his friend and to have loved him dearly but yet it has come out that she sold the crypt photos to the tabloids before she put them on her FB and then claimed that they were stolen.
