this evening there was a show called PEOPL<e 2009 on Sat 1 - a Germen Tv station
joe jackson was there and was asked abuut the death of his son
in contrast as we know him
he has been quite respectful ans chose his words carefully- family is fine- as always-
he said that he had been responsible to maintain a big family and did not break up the relationlike other fathers at that time,
but he admitted that values had changed nowadays he would take care more of michael as he had done because he had two jobs to make the living for the family
his part was very short, they did not even play one of micheal's songs in full length
but next was the hit of 2009 in Germany which is called _ ich bau dir eine stadt-

No beer for Joe Jackson. The volatile Jackson Family patriarch was turned away from a popular German beer festival because event organizers feel that he should still be mourning the death of his son, Michael.
Jackson requested access to a VIP marquee at Oktoberfest – an annual event which runs for 16 days in Munich – but was refused entry by organizer Sepp Kratz, who thinks Joe should be mourning the death of his son, who passed away of an overdose in June.
Kratz just can’t understand why a father would be partying so soon after his “child has passed away.” Well, he doesn’t know Joe like we know Joe, now does he?
“Michael Jackson’s father was desperate to have a seat reserved. I rejected his request immediately. I was really shocked,” Sepp, who has run the Hippodrum Tent at the festival for 15 years, told German magazine Stern this week. “The man has just buried his son. It’s totally inappropriate to celebrate happily just after your child passed away. That’s just not right. In short, anyone who has no sense of decency isn’t welcome at our place."

Every time if I the song hear I think of MJ because of the drums...

About the german song, I think the lyrics are beautiful. Interesting the writer is "Cassandra". But the most important thing that jumped out at me is that, it is talking about the "New Jerusalem" written about in Revelation chapter 21 and 22. A city of glass, gold and rock, where there are no tears, no pain, but healing and good things. Also somewhat related, in Rev. 22:4, it says "His Name shall be on their foreheads." The little girl in the paradise of TII has writing on her forehead, coincidence?

in reply what you posted - and i have to admit that i am not really familiar with the bible-
i have heard that people have the mark of "the beast" on their forehead which is considered to be 999
