Hey guys, was watching behind the scenes of in the closet and saw this guy! This must be Michael's "official" double... he was dancing and that is MJ in the foreground...you can see his ponytail and a bit of his orange shirt...hmmmmm

That guy was his stand-in for the video. You can see Naomi has one too ( that girl is standig next to the guy)
This has been noticed by fans for a long time too.
Stand-ins are used all the time. They are not neccesarily impersonaters, sometimes they just wear similar clothing so that the director can test the lights and camera's and such. That's why they were there. Things like that get done in movies all the time and you know how Michael referred to his videos as short films.
No twin, he barely looks like Michael imo.
I think I read his name somewhere years a go.

Thank you for saying what I was going to say. And yes there are the same kind of stand ins used during the filming of TII. You can see them very clearly in the features section of the DVD. They asked Navi to do this work for them - I don't know who finally did it. To me that is the extent of the doubles used in TII. As you can see the stand in - is just the same build and wears the same kind of clothes - the stand in will never look like Michael as you can see.

I wouldn't be so thrilled about 2 Michaels. There might be twins, but they aren't the same men, so it creates a question - who did we support all these years and who did we grow to love all this time?

Michael does not have a twin brother. It is Marlon who had and the twin died.. Why would the Jackson's hide that Michael had a twin brother. That does not make sense. If they said that Marlon had a twin and it died , why not say MJ had a twin too? If you can come with a logical explanation please let us know..

I don't believe in this theory. This "leave me alone" pic is photoshopped.
There are impersonators or doubles, yes, who try to look as much as possible like Michael using plastic surgery. That's why the tabloids keep saying that Michael had several plastic surgeries which in fact is wrong.
I don't see why the parents would have hidden this supposed brother from the very start of their children's carrier ? There were no reason to hide him. He isn't on any family picture.
If there was really a twin brother of Michael maybe we would have known the Jackson 6. Come on 2 Michael in the same band ! It would have brought TWICE MUCH OF SUCCESS! :D

It doesn't make sense, so why the White MJ had all the success. If they needed to hide one of the twin they would have hidden the white one, not the black one. The white MJ had all the success.. So this theory does not fit.

Vitiligo really exists this is not a joke and other black people suffer the same thing and became white as well. There is no twin. Michael please help !

On another note when you talked this twin theory again, and I watched the link of his performing the disappearing act, I was immediately reminded of the movie 2006 called, "The Prestige". I believe many of the movies coming out for at least 5 and longer have had Michael in mind or he has been actually influencing behind the scenes. In this movie there is the famous phrase of the magicians act which is he makes the bird disappear, creates distraction, and the most important part--makes the bird reappear. The story line is two magicians compete to be the best. One successfully seems to be able to transport his body to another part of the theatre instantly miraculously. The other magician tries to imitate this even to the extent of causing his look alike doubles to die. In the end of the movie we find that the first magician was actually a twin and thus had fooled the audience to believing it was the same person. Incredibly the one twin had one or two fingers cut off in an accident and so to look like his twin, the other had his same fingers amputated for their show career. Good movie to watch with lots of mystery and twists. Strong parallel to MJ.

On every shooting of a movie, you have people paid to take the actors place while technicians are setting the lights, cameras, sound, etc. These"doubles" are hired because they have the same height, size, hair colour etc. When the set is being prepared, this "doubles" are working with cameramen, director etc .
This is an annoying job, can last for hours. This "doubles" stay the whole day on the set and are called every time they change the places of the cameras, shootings etc.
In the meantime, the real actors can rest. the real actors step in when everything is ready and the just have to say their lines.
I guess that s what this guy is....

:? Some people said he "bleached" his skin because they like to invent and spread lies and rumors. Especially when Michael Jackson is concerned. I've never heard about a twin theory until I saw this thread and I am not convinced.
What do we make of all these people who suffer the same skin disorder ? They also have twin bros or sis around ? So why when it comes to Michael all theories are allowed even the most harebrained ? Why just not accept the simple fact that he has no white twin brother, that he became white due to Vitiligo and that he uses doubles/decoys/impersonators as some performers do and maybe him more and better than others.

Please don't forget that this movie is made in the "desert" and that Michael can't stay in the sun light for too long. It's really normal to have doubles : they are just standing to be in the right place for the cameras, as said above. And I guess Michael just waited everything to be ready. Even if he wanted to, he could not stay for hours in such a sun :|

I disagree, and I agree with Frogh777 that Michael could very well have a twin, and here's one of the many reasons why: Think about the kind of man Joe Jackson was back in those days when he was pushing the J5 to be successful. If Michael had an identical twin that only the family knew about, Joe could use him whenever the other was sick or tired or unavailable for whatever reason, to me that sounds just like Joe..I think a thread should be made on this. I really don't see why people find this so hard to accept- I prefer the idea that it's an identical flesh-and-blood twin with nearly the same personality and beliefs that we've often seen as Michael Jackson a thousand times over some non-related double.. Besides, two Michaels are better than one..!

Why would katherine give birth to twins andthen decide to hide one when she doesnt even know her kids will get famous????? Especially when she never hide that Marlon had a twin brother who died...

plus MJ had surgeries and his skin became lighter...would his twin go through the exact same process to look like him? and the surgeons would have made such a great work that in so many years nobody ever noticed there were 2 MJs? and none of their friends/entourage/ business partners/employees etc would ever notice a similar guy around? Dont u think someone would have leaked the story to the medias in the last 50 years? Just imagine the buddies of the jackson kids when they were normal pupils back in the 60's in Gary....if MJ had a twin, some of those would have talked bout him

this would make more sense that the twin stuff...but how could they be sure, he d become the same height/shape as MJ when they grew up. also would he accept the surgery?
Anyway all doubles i saw, if Navi, casanova and so on u can tell in a second it s not MJ. Even if they are great performers, a real fan sees in the twinkle of an eye it s not mj. So i dont believe in doubles unless they just pass by and wear a surgical mask and glasses

well sorry i watched it....and that s what it is: a movie!
but we r talking bout real life here: why would Katherine and Joe say "oh we had twins. Let s hide one and pretend there were no twins. Who knows, could be useful one day if our newborn becomes a superstar he would be grateful and able to use a double without anybody knowing bout it!"

well sorry but if they didnt hide it immediately but just when they got famous, how come nobody from Gary evver talked bout it in the media??? If i had sbdy in my class becoming the world biggest superstar and i knew there were 2 of them b4, i m sure i would talk bout it and sooner or later the story would come out
i still believe the twin theory is ridiculous

People from Gary don't really speak out on anything, anyway. Besides, the Jacksons could have told them to keep quiet.. You may think this theory is ridiculous, but that doesn't mean I have to, I think it's interesting and anything is possible you know- it doesn't HAVE to be, but it could be..

or meet him, but ALL through the years and in many interviews, you will get
"I thought he was taller", or "He is taller than I expected", "He is shy and quiet",
"He is outgoing and friendly", "He is hyper-active", "He looks subdued or to be on drugs".
I know people present themselves differently in personality to different people they meet,
but Michael seems to CHANGE physically as well, with different features such as teeth,
mouth set, jaw line.

I agree, you put it so well! I haven't been on Michael's side as long as you have, but I've noticed the exact same things about him, and that's another reason why I believe so strongly in twins. Sometimes I get so annoyed at him for not just making it clear one of these days..
