I have a question about Diana Ross.
I thought she wasn't at the memorial and the burial, but now I just read on a dutch forum that Diana was at the burial but she wasn't filmed on her request.
It seems that Karen Fay wrote this on her Facebook.
Does anybody here know about that?

Oh, well that is very interesting. I haven't heard that, and it was definitely strange when I thought she didn't attend. It seems like Lisa Marie also requested she not be filmed, so it's possible this is true.

Dianna was not there, probably for several reasons:
She received a lot of media attention after MJ listed her as a guardian for his kids if somehow Katharine couldn't accept the role and Dianna didn't like being named, especially since she's already done that parent thing - some of her own kids are nearly middle-aged and she's happy being a grandmother to her own family.
She didn't want any attention drawn from Katherine as the legal guardian. And didn't want the kids and the public seeing her and speculating on how she would be as the legal guardian. Also, note that Debbie Rowe wasn't at the memorial or funeral either.
A lot of stars stayed away due to the negativity associated with MJs drug use.

Sorry, I don't. I saw it on YT a long time ago. You can see Lisa is wearing sunglasses and Riley is sitting right next to her. It is just for a few seconds.

When your best friend died and that friend is Michael Jackson there is no acceptable reason (except ill or worse) not to attend his funeral. So I think Diana Ross didn't attend the funerals because it's almost impossible not to see just a little part of her in a picture...like the case of Lisa Marie

With all of the supposed paparazzi flying overhead filming against the family's request, why is there no footage of Diana Ross there?
Do you really think the paps care about her request not to be filmed? Obviously not or they wouldn't have been there in the first place for the private "burial" -the only way I can see this taking place is if these paps were hired. ;)

Well, I just found the proof that Diana Ross was NOT at the funeral.
So Karen Fay is a very bad source of information.
(think also about the photo's of the crypt ... ;) )

i hope shes still friends with michael did she refuse to go?? wouldnt he have asked her to participate oh no i thought they were real close :( maybe she is and is keeping attention away from her protecting her friend, helping him? hope so :)
