I'm not sure if this means anything.....
I was browing the michaeljackson.com forums and came across subscribers talking about the status of their tickets around June 21st and when they were going to get them, etc.... check out this link and notice it was only a few weeks away from opening night -- is this normal as it seems STRANGE! Especially since the announcement that dates were pushed back happened on May 20th so shouldn't July ticketholders have had their tickets?!?

Tell me about it, I asked for a souvenir ticket and STILL haven't recieved it and I know I am not the only one.. I was supossed to go in July as well. I have no idea what is taking so long.

a friend of mine was goin twice once she was going to be 10 rows from the front an the other on the left side of the stage!!
she never recieved hers but opted for the souvenier one instead!! she got hers with the memorial booklet!! i said to her didn't she find it strange!! but she kinda shrugged it off!!
i ordered my O2 exhibition tickets mid oct and recieved them about 2wks later!! don't see why there should be a difference with tickets seeing as its still the O2!!!

my sister was going to the first show the one that was put back,she ordered her tickets as soon as they went on sale ,she never got them,and on the 25th of june she got a text message saying mj had died,we put on the news and could not find anything ,about 10 mins later it came on the news ,i dont no who text her but it was strange

I didn't have tickets and didn't follow the MJ news as closely prior to June 25 so had no idea there were so many ticket issues. So, no tickets sent out, opening show is delayed for 1 week (not sure how they knew only 1 week would help 2 months in advance?) and then the text message...that's weird :?

That is very weird :? I dont live in UK so how long do tickets usually take to arrive to see a concert?

And we thought TMZ had the news fast...hmmm, this either supports our theory this was staged or "they" had planned for him to die all along (not sure who "they" is but still....very odd!)

bloody hell this text is weird,i see my sis later today im in the uk so it is 12.30am here,when she finishes work i will ask her who sent text and how long it usually takes to get tickets ,she goes to a lot of concerts, my sister is not a believer i risk a lot for asking her but what the hell its for mj and you guys so watch this post tomorrow

I wasn't expecting any responses to my post but it seems there's more research to the "prior to O2 Concert" topic so I'm going to keep researching and posting what I find on michaeljackson.com forum as it seems many of the members were leary about things but of course, had no idea of what was going to happen on 6/25....take for instance these posts from that forum just after the announcement of opening dates pushed back: http://www.michaeljackson.com/us/content/do-you-think-kenny-randy-are-too-laidback

Let me get this right, so you guys never received any type of ticket? I thought they promised if you choose to not refund the money, you will get a souvenir ticket?
And about the text msg, if there's any chance it's actually sent out by the ticket seller? Did they say anything like about the concert being cancelled or is it just a msg informing u that MJ is dead?

it seems that who ever ordered tickets did not recieve them,and the text message was sent before it was on the news that mj was dead

I got my souvenir ticket and the booklet.
As for the tickets at the O2 not being sent out in time for the concert.... according to one of the staff members over there, this is regular practice, therefore they always advice to always bring the paperwork (proof of paiment, confirmation etc.) if you haven't received your ticket at the date of the concert...
Last June I was at the 02 for the 'Circus' tour of Britney Spears. I live in Belgium, by the time we had left for London, I still didn't have my tickets. It was no problem to get them at the box office, but I had to show the paperwork. That is when this staff member told us it was common practice because sometimes the tickets are sent out too late. When I was talking to this staff member I received a phone call from my husband back home to tell me my tickets had arrived......lol
So, the tickets being late... I don't think there is something fishy about that.
