Title: Gangsta (No friend of mine)
Post by: ~Souza~ on February 03, 2010, 11:04:56 AM
I think the lyrics speak for itself. 7even was on the internet and most people thought it was fake and that the songs were sang by one Jason Malachi, but you can not tell me this is not Mike singing. I think most of the songs, if not all, are pointing out to the hoax. I hope I can get more up if Moviemaker will act normal again.

I have it since June, but never paid much attention to it and kind of forgot about it. When I dusted my external harddrive last week I saw it was called 7even, so I thought it was time to look at the lyrics.

this is a great song...i heard 7even was a fake album with alot of unreleased MJ songs plus some by Jason Malachi...some are on Jason's myspace and they sound really similar but there is a slight difference, but this and shout are definitely MJ...no doubt :D  :D  :D

I think Michael did put it all together though and leaked it...naming it 7even can not be a coincidence

Ha ha, yes! When I first became a fan (too embarassingly recent for me to say specifically) I heard this and I knew it was him! Lots of peeps thought it wasn't but even then I could tell.. it was just too sexy..

So this 7Even is a whole unreleassed, leaked album? Really? From 2007, right?

That's him on the gansta track but "7even," from what I heard was never an official MJ album. Some of the tracks are  MJ's and some are JM's. U can clearly hear the difference.  Its like a mixed bootleg.

This is definitely MJ on this track.  The guy who's rapping in the song even says his name on one part he says speak Mike.  Then the beginning of the song make references to all of MJ's songs.  I like this track.  I hear a new side of MJ coming out in this song.  Saying he's the new gangsta.  That's basically like he's saying don't mess with me because I will get you back.  A gangsta is tough and hard.  I even heard a reference to Tupac.  You can tell that when he made this song he was fed up with all the nonsense and people that did him wrong.  He saying what U gone do you ain't no friend of mine.  You can hear that he doesn't trust people anymore in this song.  Then the part when he says I'm gonna get U, no where to run, no where to hide.  Man that really sound gangsta for real.  Then he says something like all you put me through, no longer make me cry.  Wow this song is sending a message for real.  Kinda like MJ seeking justice and revenge.  MJ vs. media, tabloids, Sony, Martin Bashir, all his haterz.  This sound like a fight anthem to me.  I wonder what the video to this song would have been like if he made one.

Yep, that's definitely him. I think the reason why he became as successful as he did is because he's bothered to keep up with the trends in music. His brothers, though from what I could hear on the Jackson Family Dynasty show, did not.
When they were playing some of the new stuff on the show, I really thought that their music sounded very dated in terms of the chord progressions and stuff.
Michael's maintained his style, complex backing harmonies, and message all the way through. That's the sign of a truly great artist.

After reading about this Jason Malachi person and looking at his myspace page. I got to thinking about this fella and is it me or is the coincidence that his name is alot like MJ's (Michael Jackson = Jason Malachi) and his initials are the same just back words (JM=MJ) and that he sounds so similar to Michael?  Or is it just our precious MJ behind another disguise or something. I came across something I thought was interesting and it got me wondering how this Jason guy all fits into this hoax stuff somehow. Look at the meaning of the name:

: Jason (Hebrew) - Acts 17:5 - he that cures.
Malachi (Hebrew)- Mal. 1:1 - my messenger; my angel.

Is Jason a real person and MJ's messenger or is he just a made up person for MJ to hide behind? What do you think? :?:  :?

I totally agree, this is most certainly Michael. The thing is, I found this song in 2006, and it was said to have been recorded around that time, but it has never been publicly addressed or spoken about. The other artists in the song (Pras I think) never spoke of anything after Michael's "death". Despite that it's a wicked song and I can't get enough of Mike's vocals.

"Me and P like Pac & Suge."

Now why is he rapping that? For those who don't know, Pac (2pac or Tupac Shakur) was a rapper with a very positive message. He came from the streets, but was very intellectual. He and B.I.G. created the whole East-West coast thing. Both B.I.G. and 2pac are dead now. It is said that 2pac didn't want an East vs West coast fued, but that his manager Suge Knight, made him do it because it was good for record sales.

It is rumored that 2pac wanted to leave Suge's company (Deathrow records) because they were just a bunch of gangsters, not in in for the love or music, but just the money. Suge threatend to kill Tupac if he left. So what happens? Tupac got killed (in the middle of the street, tons of witnesess around, but no one got arrested) and about the same time he released an album with the name Makaveli, which is said to link to Machiavelli, an Italian politician from the 1500s who invented a new way of politics. Politics and warfare based on deceiving your enemies. A lot of people thought 2pac had hoaxed his death to get away grom Suge and his gangsters.

Oh and another interesting fact, 2pac and Janet have made a movie together...

A very interesting clue this...

i think anything he did after 1993 and especially after 2001 is to be regarded as 'hoax clue material'. be it music, speeches or any public appearance.

invincible just reaks of clues and this 7even album is def saying a lot, from those few songs i've heard so far. the new gangsta is the 'smooth criminal', the one who beats the enemy with his own weapons. the one pulling the strings.

i remember reading about that album but didn't realise then that it was download only, thought it was available for regular purchase but never saw it anywhere...plus, over here, they kept sayin' it wasn't michael anyway (sure is, undoubtedly!). and i fell for it...stupid me...

can anyone help with a link, like to have mp3s? thx in advance...

Great song. Yes! This is defintely MJ. I'd know that voice anywhere. Jason Malachi can imitate all he wants but he will never be Michael Jackson or capture that distinctive voice. There will never be another. Keep the Faith! :)

thx so much for the compliment on my name-pick!

i really think that at least 7 of the 16 songs on the album could be considered hoax clues: unbreakable, heaven can wait, privacy, don't walk away, cry, whatever happens, threatened

if you listen to those lyrics in 'hoax mode', you will notice that they could as well refer to what's coming (threatened - *you should feel threatened by me', pay special attention to the newscaster in the song!) and the lyrics that are in some love songs could also mean the fans, not one woman ('heaven can wait'). 'don't walk away' might well mean 'don't give up' or 'don't let me go'. in songs like 'privacy' or 'unbreakable'  (make no mistake...i got what it takes...you can't touch me...i know you hate it...etc.), mj really speaks out on this album and lets you know he's had it and that he should by no means be underestimated. and of course, there is '2000 watts', showing quite another side of him musically, with a very different voice (love it!). it would be too much to analyse all the lyrics here. there is a thread about it here, called 'stripping the lyrics'. just put yourself in 'hoax mode' and pay attention to the lyrics. mike was so clever to 'hide' the message behind some very powerful beats, so put some earplugs on, that'll do...

i think this is his strongest album, very different, more aggressive and personal. and also my personal favorite!

Thank you, TabloidBurn....Invincible is actually my favorite album too! This is a very Grown Up Michael, in my estimation...a Man in Charge....a Mature Man...a Man Calling the Shots...I will totally listen to the entire album with a Hoax Frame of Mind...and I have some great headphones to do it with! With the L.O.V.E!

Guys, i especially lovee the part where he hits powerful high notes in the song, what a vocal monster!..

People often talk about Mike as performer in his dancing ability (which off course amazing), but i think his true great strength is his vocal..he can hit high notes changed into mellow notes effortlessly..and his way of singing every song with emotions is incomparable imo ..

Would love if i can see a video where he did acoustic performance where his vocal is highlighted..
Now i love him even more

I totally agree with you. It should've been release.  I heard this last summer and just love it. That's  Mike on that track. His voice just penetrates your soul.  I know Mikes' voice even if the volume is low or I am 300 ft away.  The lyrics are definite clue.  He mentions the Kennedys and the Kennedys are in the portrait of MJ's The last Supper.
