I understand what you guys mean, but maybe it was just the nervous. It was the first time they speak in front of a huge public after the memorial, with a lot of famous people.. They are kids, so you can't blame them to be nervous like that, right?
It's a lot of presure to speech with the knowless you can't make any slip-up because it will shock the world...  :D

The more I think about this the more I feel is that this is not Michael's doing, at least not for pure entertainment.

I think he almost died June 25th and maybe he was revived the last minute - if anyone could revive someone it would be UCLA. Either he has been sick all these months or he is in danger and cant show himself till everyone involved in the case is arrested. Either way it is a sad and dangerous time for Michael cos he is in hiding or is sick.

The people who did this to him have to know he is dead so his families/friends keep up the act, but at the same time, they make mistakes or give the real fans clues that he is still around. It is good that Michael can also see who sold him out in the last few months - like Arnie Klein. An indication that he might be ok is Paris who was very close to him looks healthy and happy - just nervous of the crowd. If Murray is arrested and the rest with him, only then will Michael be able to come back. The LAPD has to get their case right and keep everyone safe at the same time.

This news made my day,it's a huge clue that he is not listed in the RIP list,i have just watched the children's speech at Grammy, they were really so sweet, but it didnt make me sad, cause both of them, esp Prince seemed  confused during their speech, from time to time forgetting what to say.Let's see what will come next

I was almost prepared to start crying if MJ suddenly appeared in the In Memoriam list and after I was shaking and almost panicking it was NOTHING. I mentioned it to my husband and he said something like "maybe the tribute was enough and they already mentioned it", and I recalled him that other people, like you mentioned it, were also honored during the show and they appeared again in the list.

Anyway I think it's good news.  ;)

Yes! First I thought he was fighting back tears and I got really nervous...
But then I realized that he was just thinking about what to say,
like memorizing his speech,so he stuttered a little.

What if someone (or some people , e.g. AEG, Grammy organizers etc.) are playing with our minds? They know that there are millions of people out there who love Michael and perhaps they'll just continue taking advantage of this fact. It just feels like someone is playing with us  :x

I think the Earth Song not was a memorial of MJ, but a lesson for us. Trying to teach us something, and MJ promissed to perform at 2010 grammys.. Earth Song was his performance. He should be on the list anyways.

It's a no brainer that we "lost" MJ in june..... but leaving him off lists like that is just rude. So I'm wondering is someone telling people to leave him off? Is money being handed out? Surely stuff could leak if people were told the real reason to leave him off.

But I don't think so ;)

OK ummm guys? This is really really strange. I dont care if they did do a tribute to him, it doesn't matter. They should have included his name. No way around it sorry. ALso it is just like TMZ not putting him on there after these past 7 months. Makes no sense! Why would they not do it? ALso how there was no in memory of, or remembering MJ at the beginning or end of TII right?
Ok lets switch a bit.....I understand that Paris was really really nervous but ummm it seems like to me Prince's speech was more prepared than Paris. Paris just got up there and she was like "umm our daddy would have performed this year (2010) but he couldnt perform last year(2009) never the less they are sweet kids! :(  Yeah we need to reallly listen to and analyze Paris words something about what she said. Then again maybe I am reading too much into her words.

Yeah. a little strange. He was in The Golden Globe R.I.P. List, however, that awards show is specifically for movies. (as I recall, at least) Grammys focus solely on Music. Is there anyway to prove that this happened? I haven't seen this, so I'm wondering where I can watch that memorial listings of those who passed.

Yes, I share your opinion. I often have the feeling WE are mind controlled. Not just Michael was mind controlled.I dont think we are controlled by Illuminati (I believe Michal was), but i want to say that not all the clues are from Michael. Some people or groups maybe take advantage of playing with our minds. For what reason they do it I really dont know.I am persuaded he is alive, but we know MJ always was and still is surrounded mainly by hyenas who just wants to make money from his person.
We know during his life there were many untrue gossips about him and now its the same after his "death". There are many theories and so on.I think someone is messing with us. So we must be reasonable a choose just clues that could be from Michael. I am saying this because I cant imagine what does it mean that michael wasnt included to RIP list- do all the grammy organizators know he is alive? And what about the other stars on Grammy? Rihanna, Beyonce... was that weird for them too? Do you think they are wondering about this? Or is it really "Hollywood's top secret" that he is alive?
Sometimes I really dont know what to think. Damn I am curious what is going on here...

They not only left him out, they purposefully brought attention to this at Grammy.com. On their website, they have an article titled "11 reasons to watch the Grammys." Reason #8 is the "in memoriam segment" and reads as follows...

Wild At The GRAMMYs: 11 Reasons To Watch
January 28, 2010 – 2:52pm

8) Because there will be an in memoriam segment during the show, and unless things go very badly for any of us this weekend, we probably won't be in it.    He is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO alive!

Perhaps it was simply requested by the family.
If he is dead, it might have been requested because he wanted to live forever, he did not want to die. Joe also wanted to remember Michael alive, dancing on stage.

I wonder if there is a way to ask the family about what they think, that way we'll know if it was their request. Perhaps someone who's got a twitter account? I mean they weren't even invited so do you think they'd have a say in anything? Idk...

I have just Tweeted the executive produce of the Grammys, Ken Ehrlich, and have asked him if he can explain why Michael Jackson was not mentioned in the RIP at the end.  Let's see if he replies.  ;)

While I'm on this topic, did anyone know that back towards the end of 2006, AEG bought out Ken Ehrlich Productions???? Hmmm, interesting.  See link below.

Perhaps it was simply requested by the family.
If he is dead, it might have been requested because he wanted to live forever, he did not want to die. Joe also wanted to remember Michael alive, dancing on stage.

...oh yes, such a tender and loving father
If something like that has happened , then noone should be on the RIP lists .
I don't think that someone from the other in " memoriam list" would like to die!
And some of them were quite young people too, so...

I really don't think so .

It is not relevant what you think of Joe as a father. If that would be how Joe felt, like he said in an interview, it makes sense he/the family would request such a thing.
Ofcourse the others did not want to die either. Michael wanted to live forever, in a Peter Pan kind of way. Too bad you do not understand what I am trying to point out.
