Does anyone know what part the "hologram" of MJ is supposed to appear in?
ALSO, SOMETHING BIG I NOTICED: Notice how at the end of the video in the background, it NEVER SHOWED the little girl being "killed" by the bulldozer :D remember how in the movie, the little girl appeared to "die" and then after the credits it was shown that she was, in actuality, alive? now it doesn't even show her being "killed." hmmm.... :D

Hm? I don't recall her dying at all. I remember KO saying that the little girl and Michael would come out on stage and stand in front of the bulldozer, which would stop and some guy would come out to reveal that humans are the ones destroying the world...

Looks like they edited in part of the original earth song video.
I still have to go and get my 3 D glasses.

well, in the movie, it APPEARED that she died (we didn't know how the whole performance was going to go until the DVD came out and we saw the features).
So, to us, at first, it appeared like she "died" (a lot like Michael).
But anyways, that part where the bulldozer almost runs over her isn't even in the full video at the tribute.

this is the rehearsal, so of course MJ isn't going to be there. Remember, it's likely supposed to be a "hologram" or "3d image" of him, so... :D

You hear him from time to time during the video, so his voice will still be there. It sounds kind of like a new recording :D

The official article at the grammy website says Michael will not appear in a hologram, a 3D image or anything else and that it will be "Michael's voice only." No image of Michael. That has been misconstrued by many articles taken as a spin-off of the original article posted at grammy.com. The article clearly states that we will not see Michael and we will only hear his voice.
However, I personally think that Michael is going to climb out of the tractor at the end of the performance though and the world is going to go into shock! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

That'd be really cool. He could also jump out of the screen like he was supposed to in Smooth Criminal (for TII):
They play the vignette and when MJ's character jumps out the window and leaves the frame, he jumps out of the screen and lands on the stage. Then he grabs the "tommy gun" and "shoots" the marquee, making the marquee crackle and burst, leaving the words SMOOTH CRIMINAL. Then the performance begins.

Hey I like that idea, too! Then again, there may be a complete switcharoo tomorrow night just like there was at the Special Merit Ceremony tonight. They said it was going to be the kids...but it was Frank Dileo :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Not even a family member. With this rehearsal being released, it makes me think the real 3D film shown tomorrow night will be Thriller and Mike will come back from the dead! There is just something fishy about them releasing this rehearsal footage....

yeah im actually surprised they didnt show thriller instead of earth song...because thriller was actually being made intentionally to be 3D but hey i love Earth Song to heehee

I just think that there will only be the 3D video, and nothing else.

Who was supposed to have released this rehearsal footage? Weird that "they" would do that.
I have to say watching this video I can't tell you how many times the little hairs on my neck stood up and got the chills -- can't put my finger on it as to why. It's not because we hear MJ's voice, there's something else there, I just can't figure out what exactly.

I don't like hearing other artists sing Michael's songs, it'' such a let down :( But I really want to watch this just to see what happens, I'm going to cry like a baby though... Gosh, I hope I'll manage to stay awake!

video has been removed so i cant see it i hope you are right but i dont think we will see Michael tonight i think it will be later on

Hi everyone! I think we are all excited about tonight, but like most, I'm not getting my hopes up for Michael to make his return tonight...although it would be great if he did. I live in a small town and can't find 3D glasses anywhere and I can't even find red and blue cellophane to make any!! :(
I was thinking though and after the Grammy Awards, what do we have left to get excited about? What I mean is that all the "milestones", so to speak, have come and gone with no return of Michael! We had the release of the "Movie",Halloween, the 5th of November, Christmas, New Years, MLK day, Jan. 25th( 7 mos since "death"),the DVD release, and now the Grammys. If Michael doesn't come back tonight, what is the next date we have to look forward to? Most of us have understood that Michaels's message is the most important thing and I have been doing my part in spreading that message,but what do we do now to keep our hopes alive? So many people are starting to give up hope because it has been over 7 months and no Michael, but just how long can they keep this hoax alive? I just feel like after the Grammys, more and more people are going to give up. What do you guys think?
Thanks for listening....you know I really am grateful for having this site to come to everyday. I feel like we have all become one big family here and it feels good to have friends from all over the world, who feel the same way I do, when it comes to Michael and his message. So from the bottom of my heart i want to say thank you to all of you, cause when I feel like I'm giving up hope, I just come here to my other family and I feel better again!
No matter what happens tonight, we will have each other and we will continue our mission together! God Bless all of you!!!!

Yes we are all part of a BIG FAMILY here ! Thank you for your message. I think that we musn't give up Michael deserves we stay aware until the end. Concerning a new date to look forward I think we still have spring as a possible return. Because spring represent renewal of nature, resurection !

But you have to agree that the Earth Song had different lyrics on the Grammy's.
Towards the end. It's different.
