Title: Avatar... more clues???????
Post by: Alexa_Jackson on January 22, 2010, 02:14:28 AM
I just went to see Avatar, it has been on theaters since like a month or so but it hadn't really call my attention, but today a friend invited me to see it on 3D after working in an anti-cancer children foundation where we are voulenteers, so I went with him, I really thank him for the invitation because I found several clues and references to Michael in the movie. The first thing that I noticed was the place where all the action took place, it just reminded me a lot about the "Earth Song" video, even with the tractor and everything, it also made me think about the video in the "This Is It" movie with the girl in the forest. Anyway, that's only one of the things I noticed, I was shocked when Jake, the main character spoke the words: "Who's bad" while he was being chased by an enormous creature, he looked straight in the camera and said that, to me it sounded like if he was challenging "the creature" could be the media. By the way, Jake sounds a lot like Jackson, and this character was very interested in helping people of all races and taking care of the environment, he later converted to a different race, to my that symbolized when Michael converted to Islam. Later on the movie, when Jake was giving a speech about humanity, everything that he said was difficult to hear, it didnt sound clear, only a phrase that he said "and our children's children"... reminds you of something? perhaps the intro of Heal The World, when the child speaks at the beginning of the song, and last but not least there is a scece when Jake's avatar is disconnected and the people in the avatar world think that he is dead, but then after a while he is reconnected again and everyone is very happy to see him... so what do you think??

Michael I really need you, you are my life!

P.S: Please don' forget about our brothers and sisters in Haiti, we DO care about THEM!!

Michael embrace Islam to see what the religion was like, but never converted, and i suggest you stop being so nasty, you say she doesnt KNOW Michael?, you don't know Michael either, none of us do, thats the mysterious thing about him

Thanks for sharing your clues. Who knows if he is connected to this film. At this point, anything is possible. Is this a Sony produced movie? We may also be finding clues in things that do not relate to MJ, simply because our thoughts are on MJ. So we have to mindful of both possibilities at all times.

And honestly, like TruthBeTold said, none of us really know MJ so let's just calm down and let folks have their opinion about his religion, if he has one. Who really knows? And why do we care so much?

Did Michael ever denied converting to islam? As far as i know he didn't, and this is true also that this rumor about converting to Islam is very recent so may be there wasn't a scope for Michael to declare if he was a Muslim or not. We should not take it for granted that he indeed converted, and we ALSO should not get MAD when someone talks about this possibility cause there's NOTHING wrong in converting to Islam. When people react like that, they should understand, it DOES sound like an insult to the Muslims when they say Michael would never do that.

Come on people why are we bickering over whether he converted or not. Personally I Am not religous but am spiritual in another sense. So what if he did so what if he didnt it does not make him a lesser being either way. I doubt its a clue either

1) I'm sorry, but I doubt that everyone is posting clues about Michael faking his death in every movie, tv show, and commercial.  We see a lot of things because MJ is on our minds, but that doesn't mean he's on everyone else's.  Does that make sense?

2) As with the rest of the hoax and information surrounding Michael, we need to keep an open mind.  None of us know for certain whether he did or did not convert.  I find many people getting defensive over what religion he was and it's really sad.  It's also probably the main reason why he didn't come out and acknowledge what religion he is or isn't.  He also didn't deny being homosexual(openly).  Now in private and on some interview with the police he DID say that he was heterosexual and that he was not gay.  But he kept it to himself so as not to alienate or offend his homosexual fans.

I agree but why so nasty??? I am new to the forum and it is definitely not cool to jump down people's throat like that...calm down this is a place for discussion and getting things right not to bully. I agree that I never heard of him converting fully to Islam but I don't know anything for sure and neither do you or you wouldn't be in this forum trying to "find" the truth like the rest of us. We need to watch our words because no one knows everything. Other than that I look forward to having an input on the forum!

Alexa_Jackson...Thanks for sharing the information about the movie. I haven't seen it so I was unaware of the scenes.

Welcome to the forum MJLuva84.

For those members who are  too young to remember or weren't born yet, the Jackson family kept their Jehovah Witness ties quiet when the Jackson 5 were introduced. Some people are still surprised to learn that the entire family was once members of that faith. I have a hunch that Motown publicists down-played religion intentionally so that fans wouldn't be turned off if they held biases against that religion. Is Michael ...Muslim? Christian? No one among this group really truly knows for certain.

I have seen Avatar and what a great film  I have to say i agree with your post Avatar more clues I thought it was very Michael and very touching and sad a fight between good and bad  the bad destroying the beautiful surroundings for greed  and the good fight back it was emotional and upseting but brill it is the sort of film I can see Michael being involved in so you might be right I thought of that when I saw it and  I advise all of you to go and see it in 3d it is worth it.

i agree. it does sound like an insult to muslims and that's something michael would never do. he didn't judge people and he sees everyone as equal. so what if he did become a muslim, that is his right to do so if he chooses.

i love you most,mikey-poo!

I think what we're seeing in movies like Avatar (which I loved) is that other people are finally getting Michael's message. The parallels between James Cameron's Avatar and Michael's short film Earth Song are undeniable. I hope Michael enjoyed Avatar!

The Hope for Haiti Now is being broadcast on ALL the networks in North America right now. Michael's message is there loud and clear. His influence on our music - unparalleled - and check out the outfits on some of the A-list celebs performing - remind you of anyone. I swear I think they've raided Michael's wardrobe.

Sadly they're missing the very best artist in their line up. Some day soon I hope and pray.

Remember our brothers and sisters in Haiti and do what you can.

Thank you for the info about Avatar. Observations make sense. I did not plan to see the movie. Just not in a mood for it, but now I may give it a chance.
Don't jump on me, but did you forget that Michael was accused in bleaching his skin and turning white. Change in the race comes from here. I say accused, because he simply had to do something about vitiligo, make up most likely or whatever treatment was available when he needed it.

I just want to say that the movie Avatar could in fact have Michael Jackson undertones in it and on purpose... to those that want to take a little more time to research this (it's late here and I'm very tired or I'd do it all now), James Cameron co-founded a company called "Digital Domain" with a man named Stan Winston - this is the company that did Michael's Ghost video...

"In 1993, Winston, Cameron and ex-ILM General Manager Scott Ross co-founded Digital Domain, one of the foremost digital and visual effects studios in the world. In 1998, after the box office success of Titanic, Cameron and Winston severed their working relationship with the company and resigned from its board of directors."

"In 1996, Winston directed and co-produced the longest and the most expensive music video of all time, Ghosts, which was based on an original concept of Michael Jackson and Stephen King." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stan_Winston

Even though Winston is the one named here, James Cameron could have had his hands in it too because it was Digital Domain that was doing it. And they didn't part ways until 1998, 2 years after Ghost was done. Just giving you a little information that not ALL things are impossible. :) I also heard somewhere that Avatar has been 4 years in the making. If Michael still had contact with James, it's very possible Michael had input in this movie.

Oh and one more thing, "Jake" was used as a short name for "Jackson" back in the "old days" as well. So yes, that is something to look at as well.

And I loved that movie. It made me cry too. Not many movies can do that to me.  lol

Yes, I felt that Avatar could have some MJ overtones. Mjdhor on YouTube pointed this out to me which led me to view the movie.

Besides the main characters name being Jake, the people were called the Na'vi. (MJ impersonator)?

I saw that Jakes birthday, it's shown on his last video log entry, is August 24th. I know it's not the 29th, but it is close to MJ's. Jake does die on this day, but does come back as a new being.

There are also some great statements in the movie like:
"You are not in Kansas anymore". (OZ reference)
"One life ends, another begins".
"Sometimes your entire life boils down to one crazy event." (Jake before jumping on the Toruk Makto).
"Everything is backwards now, like out there is the true world, and in here is the dream."
"Well, uh, I guess this is my last video log. Whatever happens tonight, either way, I'm not going to be coming back to this place. Well, I guess I better go. I don't wanna be late for my own party. It's my birthday, after all. This is Jake Sully signing off".

Wasn't MJ supposed to be "buried" on his birthday, but they changed it?

Did Jake say something about how people have live two live's and the second time you come back the people accept you?

The word sully means soil or stain. It also means to defile. Wasn't that what Jake was going to do originally?

James Cameron founded the special effects studio Digital Domain in CA. I believe this was around the Terminator period. Avatar was in development since 1995. MJ's "Ghosts" was done at Digital Domain about the same time. Also the movie "2012" was done at Digital Domain. There seems to be some connections. What do you think?

I would say this was a great movie and hope more movies come around to make us THINK!

Bravo, James!

MJJ777, why are you so agressive? We are all here for Michael we should be sharing love not hate, and your words are very selfish and they hurted my feelings because I consider each and everyone of you as brothers and sisters. You are wrong in what you say, I know a lot about Michael, he is my life, I've been his fans since I was 1 year old, today is my 28th b-day and on saturday I had a great theme party about Michael Jackson, I have to show you all pics, they are great, so please don't say that MJJ777, you have to learn to love yourself more and respect other's opinions. I love you and I haven't met you, but I love you because you are a Michael's fan and please, I invite you to read more about Michael and Islam so you can comment as a grown up, and please also watch the movie Avatar, spead love, let's heal the world, that's why people are always fighthing, but here I am, I'm not your friend I'm your sister, let's work together for Michael. Don't be so negative and learn to appreciate more life and all the people in it. Lots of L.O.V.E.

Alexa-Jackson, I have to say you made some good points.  I saw Avatar and kept thinking about Michael and that he could have very likely been involved in the making of this movie.   I especially liked the part when Jake says, "Who's Bad".
We love you Michael......

MJ was so influential in his fashion, art, talent, music that you just see his natural appeal and mimics brought out in many ways. It's just other producers/creative minds using the great things MJ brought us.

Thank you all for your comments, I think that Michael loves to make movies, he always said that, so I would be more than happy if he finally got the chance to do it now. He is a great perfomer, but he is also a person full of talents, so it would be wonderful if he is bringing hem back to the movies, in an anonymus way so that the fu*king media won't bother him and start with all the negative stuff about him. Michael I know you are alive, my heart and thoughts are with you, hoaxers... spread L.O.V.E not hate!!!!!! We are all united for Michael's Army of L.O.V.E.

Okay... I just wanted to add one more thing to this page.. as i only just saw Avatar..

As they walk along one of the branches near the start when the seeds from the tree land all over Jake i noticed 2 things.

1. This reminded me a lot of Light Man
2. The ground where they walk lights up like in Billie Jean.

Thats all I got... make of it what you will..

The great artistry of Michael Jackson is proven in his connection to archetypal themes and so it is with great movies, both express the greater good, hero, and love.   This is what they have in common.
