Title: Exact date when "Xscape" was leaked on the internet?
Post by: rag doll on January 18, 2010, 04:39:47 AM
Dear fellow Believers,

please does anybody know the exact date when MJ`s song "Xscape" was leaked on the internet?

I´ve already done some research: some sources say "End of 2002" and other ones state "January 2003".
Some even say it was before the official release of "Invincible". Unfortunately I couldn´t find an official news report about it... :?

Does somebody know the exact date (ideally the exact day) for sure?

Can one of you help me with that, please?
Many thanks to you in advance! ***

Edit: The only thing I found out additionally is that MJ apparently released a statement on January 18, 2003 regarding the leak and ordered his production company, MJJ Productions, to take "all measures necessary in order to ensure that the illegal distribution of Xscape is ceased."

That was to the day 7 years ago...

You're right about it being hard to find.
I'd guess early Jan 2003 as well from the archives of google. Here is a somewhat unavailable vague article which is dated January 8th 2003 that I found when searching. It is supposed to be about the song. Is that any help?
This shows some details (Paul Martin):
http://news.google.com.au/archivesearch ... lnav=hist4 (http://news.google.com.au/archivesearch?q=michael+jackson+xscape&scoring=a&hl=en&ned=au&sa=N&sugg=d&as_ldate=2003/01&as_hdate=2003/03&lnav=hist4)
This is the elusive article which wants money for viewing...err..NO thanks.
I found this http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1G1-96232240.html (http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1G1-96232240.html)

What you thinking it means?? A 7 year plan?

I think this hoax was planned for a very long time.. So it could have been leaked on purpose.  :?:

Thank you very much for your answers! What caught my eye first and the reason I was asking for the date, was the following:

You all remember the leak of "Place with no name" last summer - http://www.tmz.com/2009/07/16/michael-j ... d-america/ (http://www.tmz.com/2009/07/16/michael-jackson-song-unrecorded-unreleased-america/)
And earlier this year "Another day"  - http://www.tmz.com/2010/01/03/michael-j ... other-day/ (http://www.tmz.com/2010/01/03/michael-jackson-lenny-kravitz-leaked-song-another-day/)

Now while having a closer look at the dates of these articles on TMZ, I found that:
Place with no name: Posted Jul 16th 2009 by TMZ Staff  - Jul = 7 /  1+6 = 7
Another day: Posted Jan 3rd 2010 by TMZ Staff - 1+3+2+1 = 7

That on it´s own must not mean a thing. But some of you will also remember the fuss about "Jason Malachi" and "his" song "Mamacita", that was also published via internet some years ago: Is it a new Michael Jackson song? Is it not? Who the heck is Jason Malachi? - and I´m not sure if anyone found out the answer yet... ;)

Currently interesting about Jason Malachi is his latest release, which also is the subject of this topic:

Especially the following - the credits go to the original posters in the topic mentioned above:

Please note the date on the last poster: January 15th = 1+1+5 = 7 ( I better say nothing about the 7* General!) ;)
I hope you can comprehend my interest behind that question now a little better...  :D  8-)

"Place with no name: Posted Jul 16th 2009 by TMZ Staff - Jul = 7 / 1+6 = 7 "
Also add the full date up 7+1+6+2+9 = 25 = 7
So many 7's that you can't ignore it any further...

I went to Seven Star General's myspace just for the fun of it, and the one and only friend I wanted to look at wouldn't let me look at it..

Display name: looks like a "7"  Account number 1301604985

The display name that looks like a "7" translates to "child"..

Wow, that´s interesting... with which language did you match it?
Inspired by you, I tried to find out more about that symbol and found it in chinese language.
: to finish, to complete; but also: to realize, to comprehend

Here we have all our rudiments again: the child, the ending, the cognition...
Hmmm...-will we ever know?
