They are putting focus on their (the brothers') children by including them in the series. It's like they are wanting to introduce this next generation to us. It's nice to "meet" the rest of the family. ;)

It's awesome they are visiting a correctional facility for youth. Those kids really need to see some good role models to look up to. A big "bravo" and thank you to them for reaching out to these young men!

I'm hanging with a thread right now i want him to be alive so bad but things are getting weirder there still is more proof hes alive then dead but if he really is 1) he had one of the weirdest deaths ever, and 2) my heart will once again go to that sad place :(

Guys, even though this was like a punch in the stomach for a lot of us tonight, I sat for a few minutes after the show went off trying to think of something other than "he's really gone" and I got to thinking.. maybe this "visit" to the crypt was filmed the same day as the burial? We've had no reports of the Jackson's visiting the grave have we? I'm really trying to not lose hope here and what Tito said at the end keeps ringing through my head about "wanting him back whether he sings another note or not". I feel the same way.

Yes, it was the first time they were all visiting there together. If I remember correctly, Marlon for sure hadn't been there yet. I'm not quite sure if anyone else had been there.

That's what I thought I heard! Maybe it's a message in itself. I still don't understand why this ending is SOOO mind blowing . Why did they repeat this over and over for a week? Why did they mention it in all interviews. The message was basically that MJ is still around. Still around in their hearts and they feel him. Maybe it's to prepare people.

First of all, I had a feeling Michael wouldn't come back. Keep in mind, this show isn't live! It was filmed a couple months ago, and I doubt that if the biggest and greatest artist in the entire world came back from the dead that we wouldn't have heard about it by now. Okay. But here is what I think.
Some people are speculating the fact that they didn't actually show the grave. I noticed this too.
Pro hoax factor: I feel like they could've showed them AT the grave, not a camera there the entire time during their "grieving". Anyone could've just filmed themselves in the doorway and walking out.
Con hoax factor: Forest Lawn seems to be very strict about people inside the building. People are saying that they don't allow ANYONE to see the grave sites, so maybe they allow family members inside but no cameras.
Jackie also mentioned that people had left notes and flowers at the site.
Pro hoax factor: I'm pretty sure everyone knows by now that FANS ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE. In fact, I've heard that they don't really let anyone inside. If no one can get inside, then how could people leave flowers and notes?
Con hoax factor: If they weren't allowed inside, fans might have been able to leave their offerings at the reception desk. They couldn't just leave them outside, so they would have to bring them somewhere. Though I doubt employees of the cemetery would keep them somewhere.
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO THINK. Please PLEASE tell me what you got from this episode that contributes to the hoax or any other random things. I want to beLIEve!
UPDATE: Just read that one of the executive producers - as seen in the credits - was Michael Jackson?!

michael was the co editor of this episode?? how is that? and why would they even risk putting his name up there if he were in hiding..maybe he was in the credits because he was involved...i mean they showed the family going to go visit his grave...
also i know the rules is that no one is allowed in to see MJ's grave ( prob a peace issue saying he been in the spot light all his life its time to let him rest in peace) But wouldnt the family be able to over rule the fact that the cameramen couldnt come in to see him?...or they could have taken the camera in them selves who knows

U guys this could all well be just a huge distraction...i know we were planning on them working on ppl questioning MJ's return to make his return less shocking, but instead they kinda made it harder to believe he is alive...but i believe MJ is out of our lives forever, he is not going to come back. He has his mind set and as FOR NOW he doesnt want to be in the spotlight again. who knows he can change his mind a few years down the road but for now he is done and wants to live a normal life. His brothers are trying to make this possible for MJ. They got to try to find a way to give MJ's fans some closure so they wont be too terribly heartbroken...The best we can do is not be so selfish and upset that MJ wont return...its whats best for Michael. I want him to die happy and not in the spotlight of billions of people. He IS alive and well. maybe he just not ready for a return yet...afterall its only been 7 months...maybe he realised how much he is enjoying this private life lol
Now lets get to Jermaine...how come his hair looks so glossy...it reminds me of one of those plastic action figures like the hair...it looks painted on lol...i cant get over jermaines "look" it makes me laugh...dont mean to be rude jermaine but whats going on there bro? :lol: 8-)

This is one of the reasons I believe his alive. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and am hoping they would not be able to exploit him like that. Like you, if he is dead, I feel that is a cheap stunt, and I don't want to believe they could actually do all of this after they just lost their brother. :|

Ok....I have been trying to figure out the "mind blowing" thing too. Here is a thought of mine!
When they were in the studio with Jimmy Jam and the other fella....When they asked how they were going to explain about the fifth brother not being there...do you remember what the brothers said?
They said he is here with us in spirit...here in our hearts, and one brother said...think it was Jermaine....that he is right here in this room with us, right now!!! Could it be that Michael was in that room with them...maybe behind the camera???
I don't know...I just do not want to believe he is not alive and like that video that someone posted...Michael did say he like to create an illusion.., give people the opposite of what they are expecting and then blow their mind! Maybe they are just toying (for lack of a better word) with us so that when he does reveal himself it will be that much more sweeter? I don't know, just grasping at straws here. Like someone said above lets see what tomorrow brings. It's a new day and MLK, Jr day...so maybe something will happen tomorrow. Let's keep the faith and never stop beLIEving!!

they didnt technically say michael...they said it will be mind blowing...and emotional and indeed it was. That does They were just giving fans "closure" because everyone was so heartbroken that MJ didnt have anyone seeing him. So they went to go see him and people are emotional about it but it did give the non believers some closure, which is good for them. But for us it was a punch in the gut but thats what happens when you are on the outside of the norm...u get hurt. :|

:shock: if they went in the fall...then how come there were no pictures of them visiting the grave? Strange how news that big can be kept secret until january. especially if they visited in the fall...then they were huge camera magnets because it was so close to MJ's passing so i find it strange how no one got a pic of them visiting...no fans there or anything...hmm has me thinking of what other things can be kept secret for so long

Strange....this episode made me realize that this hoax is very real. Their wording never seems to fail us. Never a mention of the word "death" or "died"...just "gone" or "not here." And really....not bringing the camera into the mausoleum? COME ON! Give me a break! And ya, the flowers and notes from fans....why not show us?
"Michael is here with us in this very room" and wording like that....those guys never seem to amaze me.
I really don't have any expectations at this point for his return. I'm not holding my breath for anything to happen tomorrow or on 1/25 or any specific time. If/when this all comes out, then I'll be beyond excited. He may have done this for many reasons...but if doing this gives him peace of mind...then I'm happy for him.
What's interesting is that suddenly no one sees the kids out anymore! Did they quit karate?!

didn't jermaine say on twitter like last week or something when they were tweeting like crazy, that he had just seen the last episode & it looked like a movie??? maybe their visit to forest lawn was fake, i mean it's not like they violated any privacy laws or anything like that & they weren't being disrespectful to the people buried there, they didn't show anything....just saying ;)

In a small way, to me, it felt like all of them were acting, it wasn't real.

Well what the heck? I just finished watching the last episode. The first oh 50 minutes were really nothing....filler. But the visit to the grave thing? Oh please..... :roll:
I tweeted a response to the Jacksons about the show. I said
No. Something is just not right with this entire MJJ thing. Something is wrong IMO. Things don't add up I'm afraid.

I don't know if it's just me or not but I found it hard to be emotional during the scene of the cemetary. First of all, when they came back from the commercial break it seemed as though Jermaine was waiting to start his "dream" statement on cue. Then they show the highway sign for Forest Lawn followed by them entering the mausoleum. For all I know this could have all been done at Culver Studios. There was nothing shown that indicated they were really there except for the sign over the entrance into the mausoleum. I'm sure that they know that we have seen photos of the tomb, yet they didn't show us anything, even from a distance.
Also, it is my understanding that the mausoleum does NOT allow any video or photo inside to respect the privacy of the families whose loved ones are there so wouldn't that have broken their policy, Jackson's or not?

I don't know if it's just me or not but I found it hard to be emotional during the scene of the cemetary. Then they show the highway sign for Forest Lawn followed by them entering the mausoleum. For all I know this could have all been done at Culver Studios. There was nothing shown that indicated they were really there except for the sign over the entrance into the mausoleum. I'm sure that they know that we have seen photos of the tomb, yet they didn't show us anything, even from a distance.
Also, it is my understanding that the mausoleum does NOT allow any video or photo inside to respect the privacy of the families whose loved ones are there so wouldn't that have broken their policy, Jackson's or not?

Especially when they went to the detention center it didn't feel sincere to me. Like why were they there? The Jacksons don't know really about ghetto life and being on the streets. I don't see how they can really relate to these kids. Maybe Jackie and Rebbie because they are the oldest but the Jacksons were rather young when they moved to Cali. Even when Jermaine was talking about having a dream and then they go to Forest Lawn. Yeah I can see why he's having a dream his brother's death seem like a dream to me something not real that didn't really happen. I'm still not convinced. If I went to see my dead brothers grave I wouldn't want it to be on camera because that would be something that you would do in private and seem disrespectful. The finale was really boring too. The first episodes started out interesting then it got boring. That was not a suprise ending. That was a whack ending. :x

BINGO!!! I thought it was weird that they built up the whole finale episode and showed nothing except them walking down a hall to a grave and then walking down the hall out the door. What is so mind blowing about that? That they filmed themselves there? Big deal. I admit that my jaw dropped when I realised they were going to FL.....Also, I agree about the fact that the paps (TMZ) didnt catch on to them going there and film SOMETHING. Its still odd as hell to me that NO ONE has seen any of the family going to FL to see MJ....especially his kids. Youd think they would want to go there every Sunday after church....but not a peep. Either, like kdkennedy said they werent at FL or Michael, if he IS dead, is not buried there at all...he is somewhere else.
But did anyone else notice the green sign on the highway when they were driving to FL that said "Hollywood Next 7 Exits"????

They don't stalk cemetaries and stick to mostly the airport and downtown areas of L.A. & Beverly Hills.
When they show up other places, it's because they were tipped off by the celebrity's staff so that their client's pics can be in the next issue of The Enquirer or on TMZ.
There are also some paps who follow specific people just about daily, but who's following Jermaine, Marlon, Jackie, and Tito?!?!

I thought it was absolutely wonderful that they went to the detention center. I literally had tears in my eyes for what they were doing. It makes perfect sense WHY they went there. They care about these young men, these African American young males who need to be inspired to make better life choices. Someone DOES NOT have to have the exact same life in order to be an influence and inspiration to others. It is not a pre-requisite. But what is a pre-requisite is compassion and concern, and the ability to inspire and teach. As proud, successful African American males, the Jackson brothers did an amazing thing, as they are the one thing these kids need to see...that African American males can be successful in their lives by making the right life choices. I encourage you to reach out to others who are in detention centers, or even prisons. There are wonderful reading, educational, and mentoring programs to get involved in. It is highly rewarding!

Yes, when Jermaine started in on the recurring dream, it seemed very scripted. almost like they needed a reason to visit FL. I wonder what the dream was. What could he have dreamt that makes him say: "We have to do this"?
We have to do what? Visit Michael, or do the 40th anniversary show? Does anyone know whether or not the show will take place? If so, when and where?
I have a feeling it will not take place, just like anything else they ever planned, i.e. Vienna, and I'm almost certain that Marlon's Nigeria project won't get off the ground either.

After crying, sleeping on it and thinking about it this morning. I think the whole we will be " blown away" thing is two fold. For the regular fan it's a sense of closure. It is showing the world that he is gone. For the rest of us, it's a message. They were very clever in making the point that "He's still around". In our hearts, in the room, etc. The dream that Jermaine speaks of is the coming together of Michael and the brothers. Michael speaking to him. They visit FL and we don't see a grave. Again, a message to us from MJ. He is still around. Does this make sense to anyone? Have gone off the deep end for sure now? LOL!

Why did they show the brothers individually with their children all of a sudden...????
Another thing...when they were in the studio with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, and one of the producers asked the brothers what does MJ's absence mean for the group....what did he mean by that??? Even my mom said, "what does he mean by that? It's not like MJ's in hiding or something! If he's not there, he's not there!" Her comment (she's a non-believer) made me think......
And Jermaine's "dream"....it did seem scripted and for show....i was waiting for him to describe the dream....
And I noticed as well that they didn't show the actual burial place, just them walking in with flowers and them walking out w/o flowers....could mean nothing, could be a confidentiality agreement to not show the site....I dunno...
I think think that Marlon's "blow your mind" comment was to the hoax believers, though. A kind of "in yo face" type thing to prove to us that them visiting the grave site indeed makes it real, therefore it will blow our minds that we are off our rockers....

In reply to king of mystery: Well I still stick by my statement. I think everything on that episode was scripted. If they were genuine about their visit then that's all good. It was just weird to me that they just up and went to a detention center out the blue all of a sudden. I have never heard the Jacksons do anything like this before but MJ did things for kids all the time and it was sincere. The reason I made that statement about them relating to the kids is because Jermaine was acting like they just grew up on the streets their whole life which isn't true. Maybe at first but they basically lived a luxury life. I agree that people that don't live the same life can have a positive influence but don't front like you have lived the same hard knock life when you haven't. I have the right to my opinion as do you. As far as volunteering and helping young people I have done that. I also worked as a teacher for 5 years and I will continue to help young people in the community. I hope you do the same as well to help. So if you feel the way you do that's fine we're all entitled to our own opinion. Thank you

Yes I noticed that....That's why I said that maybe he was there in the room, either behind the camera or somewhere we could not see him. I have even gone as far as to wonder...and it's a far fetched wonder...if Michael could be disguised as one of the brothers! I know that is really out there, but he did like his disguises. ;- )

Ok, for those who say that they never mention the word "dead" or "death" instead use the words "gone" or "not here/with us"...when my great grandmother um see i cant even say it i say passed actually...but when my great grandmother passed on people never said the word dead around me they said like gone or not here any longer...the word dead just sounds so ugly and when you think dead you think of a decaying ugh i cant even continue...but do you get my drift. Gone, passed, no longer here, absent...are just much nice words then dead, death, died. I think its a respect thing when they keep saying that.

The Jacksons had a live-chat on the A&E website few days ago, and someone posted that Marlon got mad at poeple who kept on saying they went to the wrong cimetery, and denied it...That would be the first time that the Jacksons have a clear talk about MJ being dead and clearly saying this is not a hoax. That scared me a lil bit, does anyone has the link to this chat-live-conversation? What did Marlon exactly said and what u think about it?
They know that so many poeple believe it's a hoax, and I always thought it was very strange that they don't clearly tell poeple what is really going on. If their brother/friend was really dead, they would take it as an offense and i would expect them to be quite mad at all this and make things clear. Even Dave dave, he got plenty of messages from fans telling him or asking if Michael was alive and speaking through him ( on his myspace and on LK) but he never said clearly MJ is dead and this is not a joke!!! they are all so ambigous, i dont get it, but im just wondering now why would marlon get mad about the fans finding out they went to the wrong cemetery...esp if this was supposed to be a clue for us!!

Yes i was at that live chat... Marlon was actually very upset when people brought up FL he said that A&E made them show both signs. He says they did attend it. When people kept mentioning Michaels death he said he didnt want to talk about that. He actually seemed upset. Actually it bothered him so much when people brought it up that they took the whole chat site down. He was only on for like 30 min and when ppl strted getting on and questioning MJs death he got off and the chat site got taken down the next day. Jermaine was going to get on the next day but i guess they figured out that people were going to be VERY rude and WAY TO UPFRONT about it all. his tweet was interesting he said that he just got done chatting live and told everyone to be nice and to study peace.
sadly the chat is still down...but he was HILARIOUS until our investigators got on. We need to not be rude and disrespectful you guys. Enjoy what is given to you please! You are only going to be given the clues that MJ wants to give out. So there is no point in harrassing the brothers. I honestly almost quit this whole investigation becaues of that..i didnt want to be in a group that was so rude and hateful and not caring about other peoples feelings. there were fans on ther who are in deep mourning still and ppl come in there and just stirred things up it was horrible and i felt embarassed for us hoax investigators. we need to grow feelings please! No more. They not going to tell you what you want to hear. Now instead they will not get anymore because we were so hateful.
