I though this was odd... Janet performed a medley of some of her hits and asked the audience to sing along at a certain point. They turned the camera to Jermaine (in the audience). He did not look like he was singing the correct words at all. Did anyone else notice this? What in the world was he saying/singing?

Jermaine is LOVING the spotlight now. It's been a long time since he has been in it. :roll:
Of course he won't know any of the words...he was too busy doing "other things" while his Sister was busy with a career. haha.

He has taken most of the spotlight since June 25th more than any other member of the Jackson family but I'm not sure whether that's because he's been elected as the spokesperson for the Jacksons or because he's taking the initiative and making financial gain because of Michael's absence.
As far as remembering the lyrics, I think he was too in the moment enjoying Janet's performance to care, TBCH.
I also enjoyed it allot but I'm quite disappointed she didn't perform Rythem Nation, that's my favourite JJ track.

Don't know what happened with my first post but - yeah. I thought that was strange too. It was almost like an after thought that he even mentioned Michael. Do you suppose he was apprehensive/self conscious about how he would be received? I would have thought Janet woukd be a better choice to accept Michael's awards.

Perhaps he brought them on stage to give them some media attention in America, perhaps one of them has some talent.
Or could be just a proud Father showing off and introducing his children.
Who knows.

Perhaps I have missed something in his speeches last night.... Did he, at least once, say the words "I (we) miss you Michael"? In fact have either he or Janet said this sentence yet??
I heard it coming from Melissa's introduction to the award being given, just do not remember him saying it .

I too kind of think that the family has asked Jermaine to help out in the beginning and J may have taken it a bit too far. I was very surprised that Janet did not accept the awards, since she was there.

I mentioned this in another thread. It struck me as odd that Jermaine said: "We're gonna miss you, Michael". Future tense. I've been missing Michael for 5 months now.

all 2 of them are his sons..he has 6 sons...he has a j6 ...lmao jermaine, jamy, jeremy, jordynn, jafar and jermajesty and 2 daughters autum and dawn
and i have ALWAY thought he was weird he takes his sons, jafar and jermajesty on stage with him for everything...that may be a clue..plus it bothers me cause he has hella kids and he totes around the last 2 like there his only 2..IDK but something is up with him and the kids...
