Just a side note...
I think Marlon is hiliarious! I really appreciate his sense of humor! And from what I've observed of him, he also seems to be a "peacemaker" and "mediator", as well. Those are two very positive attributes. :)

Hmmmm, close to perfect. Every reality show has somebody you LOVE to HATE. I think this is what Jermaine is aiming for. I'd say he's off to a good start.

That was hysterical .. they say you can love someone but not really like them .. I get the impression this is how the brothers feel about Jermaine

I personally am not feeling them at all in the studio on tonight's episode. They can't come together on anything. Jermaine is perfect and no one can tell him anything. Jackie, Jermaine and Marlon were attempting to lay a track and kept stopping. They all walked out of the studio. Tito was outside listening and critquing everyone. None of them can sing IMO. If MJ was in the studio he would have layed the track to Dynasty during first episode. Rebbie, MJ and Janet are the only real singers in the entire family. Jermaine acts as though he is trying to replace MJ with the way he acts. He needs to be himself and get over his brother replacing him as the lead singer of the Jackson 5. That family definitely has problems with moving forward in life. Keep the Faith!

We can give Jermaine a hard time, but we also have to give him credit that he generally seems optimistic and a "go getter".

I'm on the fence , i want so badly for him to be alive, but what scares me is if i learn he really is gone , i'm gonna be heartbroken all over again, and i;m gonna cry all over again, and i really don;t want to it was hard enough the first time. Losing your biggest idol, i cant go through that again.

Guys, I'm going to have to say that if Michael hoaxed his death, then I don't believe that most of his family is in on it. They are many realiable books and articles about the Jackson family and well, I'm just amazed that a person like Michael could come from a family like that. I don't really trust any of them, especially Jermaine. To me, when I read about him, see his interviews, and see this show, Jermaine is just a deadbeat and a loser. I think that it is possiable that Michael hoaxed his death, but I don't think that Jermaine is in on it. So, to me, the family is a non factor in concerns with the hoax.

A few months ago, before the show aired, I remember seeing some previews of the show which included Joe along with the rest of the family. I'm beginning to think that the big 'surprise' will be a huge family gathering that includes Joe (of course) and maybe Michael's kid's, even though I didn't see them in the previews. :|

I like the brothers. ALL of them. And I am not ashamed to say so. Jermaine does get on my nerves on occasion, but I still like him.
I think the brothers can sing. ALL of them. Though some better than others.
Don't place any bets on MJ coming out next week. That's not gonna be the surprise. If there is a hoax, I really don't think MJ would use the brothers' TV show as a way to reveal himself to the world. He likes to do things on his own. So it just wouldn't make sense, IMO.
My personal opinion is that the surprise will be that the brothers will NOT tour. Maybe they'll do one show somewhere or something, but no tour.
I also firmly believe we'll get another season of the show. I like the show. I would have watched it whetherMJ "died" or not. I have always liked the Jacksons...I like MJ a LOT more. But the Jackson brothers are stars in their own right.

I haven't seen the show, I'm not too excited seing the Jacksons. I don't think Michael is the surprise at the end of the series. Maybe something they believe is big, God knows what!
Just one thought, if Michael were under threat and needs to be hidden, wouldn't that aply to his kids too? I mean if anyone was threatening Michael, could come after the kids know....? I'm just so confused, fell like we're getting nowhere... :cry:

Yeah the first song they did on the first episoce was actually better I think. The on ethat Marlon said was a roller skating song. It had a nice vibe to it. That was funny with the corn that fell on the ground. I hope Jermaine got that piece. :lol:

That was a seriously boring episode. They just proved to me they're nothing without Mike...I can't stand their voices.

When the brothers were on LKL, there were subtle hints that the show could carry over into another season. You may be right. The big surprise might be that there will be another season of the Jack5ons.
The purpose of the show was to showcase the group and allow fans to see them in a way that they had never been seen before. So far, it is is working.
BTW- I was a J5 fan from the start. Before there was MJ's solo careeer, there was the Jackson 5. ;)

Jermaine is trying too hard to emulate Michael. It makes me want to throw up. I guess he's so dull and boring that he has to try and be his brother. Also, for some reason I don't discern that he and his wife have a very good relationship. She seems to be at his beck and call every turn. They're so funny when she tries to show him affection with a kiss and he turns away because he doesn't want to get lipstick on his mouth. I am thinking, man that's your wife. He has no respect for her and I seriously don't believe he's in love with her. He may love her but he's not in love. You can tell easily from the eyes and body language between them. Just my thoughts! Keep the Faith!

I don't think this show is spontaneous at all (what little I've seen - I don't get to see it here - just watched bits from Youtub) - they look like they are acting - badly.

I very much dont want everybody to get their hopes up about MJ returning on this show.. I mean its only aired in USA and you cannot even watch it anywhere online anymore unless your in the USA (Stopped after episode 2)

Marlon reminds me of MJ so much...the sense of humor, the way he laughs, even his vocal tone is like Mike's....Maybe it's because he and MJ are the closest in age and hung out the most when they were little...but anyways...the wine over the chicken and "asalam-alaykum brotha" was hilarious! That Tito...such a prankster...(like MJ).....the thing that got me is the fact that they've been recording and rehearsing for how many years now? Like, 45 years? And you mean to tell me that NOW they can't get anything together??? Seems made up for the sake of having drama for a show, to me.

Yeah I was like no he didn't when he said he wasn't perfect but close to it. :roll: I'm like this dude got a big head for real. I agree that he doesn't act very loving with his wife. She act like she's his personal assistant instead of his wife. He even referred to her as his caregiver in one of the shows. She was even putting his shoes on for him. I would be like your a grown man so you can put your own shoes on. He's something else. I think him and Tito sometimes act like they could be womanizers like they daddy. Tito be acting like he's a pimp but I have to admit I kinda do like Tito though. He make me laugh when he imitates his dad's voice on the show.

Can I just say, I love the whole Jackson family...I love Jermaine and his quirks and how he is always saying...watch your lipstick, watch the hair, every time his beautiful wife tries to kiss him...LOL. I LOVE Marlon! He is so funny! Jackie is my favorite. I just love how he cried at the Thriller Live. And Tito, love his tears at the table when they were talking about seeing the movie...Love the hats. I truly can't believe MJ is alive when I watch it. I was crying like a baby while I was watching online and my kids were asking me what was wrong. No matter what, I pray for the Jackson family.

Again, as I stated in another thread, I thought it was quite interesting that the drummer they had rehearsing with them, Jonathan Sugarfoot Moffit is the same drummer MJ used in This Is It.
