Below is 2 videos on a picture that sort of proof michael was or planned to read from the teleprompter, 1st you see michael come out and he hugs dermot o'leary and then he interacts with the fans and then goes back to dermot o'leary and from what i've seen asked if the teleprompter is on.
Also if you notice that there is teleprompter on the left and right and he always seems to be facing to the left or the right. Maybe that is why he is struggling with getting the words out at the start?, when he started to sound a little foreign sort of. But i can sense he felt uncomfertable doing that possibly lying to his fans and stuff.
So take alook at this 1st video and you will see the clear sheet like glass on a stick stand and both sides of the stage. These are actually teleprompters only viewable from stage side. You see a similar teleprompter which obama is using which is below this video. ( you see it clearly at 2.39 )

Now in this next video you will dermot o'leary on another show talking about meeting MJ. The show is called Soccer AM which is a soccer/football show in the uk, and clearly states MJ asked him if the teleprompter was on. from 1min 30secs onwards

Ohhh!!! :D And, Dermot O'Leary points out "But he didn't need the teleprompter 'cos all he said was "this is it because this is it because this is it!"" So, what I'd like to know is if what MJ said was remotely close to what the teleprompter had written?? Guess we'll never know.
And, I love listening to Dermot talking about MJ in that interview. Thanks for the lol! :lol:

Yup.Dermot talked about this in one of his programs l and about that "Mike" was strangely stiff, in fact they were very good friends ... it is strange that "Mike" read these few words ...as Jermaine a few words about the death of his brother ... :?:

LMAO! Dermot is such a sweety. I love the way he described the whole O2 moment :lol: and the way he reinacted the dance and how he gave Michael the thumbs up ROTFLMAO :lol: the comment about Michael being ripped has put a huge smile on my face too :D

I think it was the real MJ at the O2.. i am convinced it was the real MJ.
And it is sooo interesting how Dermot Oleary says MJ is "ripped" with good back muscles.

It was great, Michael was late, but it was total hysteria when he finally got onto the stage..

What do you mean with "job" and "employer".. I'm a fan, and I saw the teleprompter from where I was standing near the front.

What I saw wasn't the teleprompter itself, it was some sort of screen where the text Michael was gonna read, was shown and "tested" before he got on stage.

It's a mad thought, but was there another BIG clue at the O2, He wasn't on time, So that means he was "The Late Michael Jackson." Late as in passed away? (No i'm not saying he was already dead)

we determined it was rally michael because of the red bracelet on his left wrist...there are pictures that go way back in years where he is wearing that same bracelet :)...but some ppl believe it was him and others don't...there will never be a full agreement to that theory :)

sorry i just dnt think that was michael at the O2 cos it definitely dsnt sound lyk him he talks way 2 low and very different lyk if u compare him 2 the way he talks in the this is it movie, theres something wrong with his smile, he has a kinda different accent and he obviously dsnt behave the way he usually does in conferences...no way that its mike...sorry dnt bash me for this!!

With regards to the 02 MJ's accent, do any Americans on here hear a foreign accent coming through or does MJ sound 100% American? I can only hear a US accent. To me he sounds like the real MJ.

With regards to the 02 MJ's accent, do any Americans on here hear a foreign accent coming through or does MJ sound 100% American? I can only hear a US accent. To me he sounds like the real MJ.
To me his accent sounds fine. There are quite a few American accents, but this one sounds like his. If he came out talking like a New Yorker or really country like a Texan..... that woould bother me.
