Title: NEVERLAND WAS MICHAEL'S 1ST LOVE
Post by: hesouttamylife on December 30, 2009, 06:11:22 PM
I believe that Michael's separation from Neverland changed him forever.  Though he said after the trials that he would never go back, I will always believe in my heart that his heart never, ever left from there.  It was his world inside a world where he never felt he truly belonged.  So he built for himself his own world.  Neverland was his universe.

I agree...he must have been in an awful place to be able to abandon his beautiful home and everything in it.  It makes me so sad. :(  He was basically a nomad the last few years, but I hope he had some happiness with his children despite that.  I wish he could go back there now.

Isn't it awesome and inspiring that he looked at that place and thought up in his head exactly what he wanted it to be and voilla, there it was in all its splendor, in all its glory.  He gave himself the childhood he had lost and a place where he could roam free.  That is amazing and yet it is also sad in a way. That he had to go to that extreme.  That he wanted and needed those experiences that badly.  That he felt in order to have them, he would have to build his own little world inside and apart from every other place.  Then once it was all built, and the children went home or where ever after the day's activities were over, he was still alone in it. That is very sad. :(

I hate this man, but I love Michael in his giving tree

Neverland was BIG.. i do worry that he isolated himself a bit too much though.

I love that Bashir clip of him climbing a tree.. make me laugh when Bashir goes "go climb the tree then" and MJ runs off like a little kid.

At the top when he is sitting there with the sun behind him, he looks like an angel

I think Neverland was good in the sense that it gave MJ a chance to relive his childhood in his own way.  It was also good in the way that he would bring sick children there to make them feel happy and forget about their illness.  On the otherhand I think Neverland did make MJ become reclusive to the outside world.  It's almost like he had to hide himself just to feel like a normal human being.  It's like he was afraid of the outside world.  I can't imagine living in such a big place with no friends or family around.  Especially him coming from such a large family.  It's sad that he couldn't just go about his way in life and live like everyone else without constantly being under a magnifying glass. Having those kids come into his life had to be a blessing for him.  I think Omer and nanny Grace were also good for him to have in his life.  I know some people don't like her but I believe she cared about him alot and she had his back.  I saw her standing beside him when he was going through his trial.
