At MTV VMAs and MTV AMA's Janet Jackson performed... ...but also Michael left us some clues...OMG he is a real GENIUS...he knows that only his true fans can understand these "mistakes"...like "pain...

This is what you do, you get the link/url that's on the side of the video and copy...then you hit the youtube tab in your message box....like this ([YouTube]http:/ww.youtube.com/watch?v=NR0pevvG-k [/YouTube]) and then post. I took some of the characters out of the link so that I don't post a vid in your thread.

I also found a video referring to this topic!
When I first saw Janet's performance I was like wtf!?
At some parts she sounded like Michael but with an effect attached to the voice
to alter it a little.
Now I found that video, where the background has been removed, so you can hear
the voice only. It really sounds like Michael. I am 100% sure that it's him.
But this doesn't have to mean anything actually...but it could.Why would Janet act as if she was singing?

I've got no idea...
But it really is from the VMAs, you can compare it to the performance, just search Janet Jackson VMA at youtube. It's the same, only with background music.

because it takes his true fans to know the difference like us...we know how he hiccups and pronounces words...NO OTHER artist does it...even Janet.

I think we all know how perfect Mike can handle his voice! Since he was a little boy, the control of his voice "was almost frightening" !!! ( I don't remember who quote that.)
He can be sounded like a little boy or like a woman or whatever :o
No one can imitate him!
So it's definately him and I think it's one more clue for us! What a better occasion and a person than Janet ! I believe she is the number 2 after Mike in this entire thing : ;)

It really did sound like Michael with a mix of Janet; why would she have chosen to sing that way? especially when she doesn't sing the song like that on the album. the hiccups, and the way she pronounces the words was so MJIsh.

It did sound a lot more like Michael than Janet IMO. Now I am going to go home and watch the awards show that I still have recorded and something made me keep for a moment like this. :D

I wonder if there is any way to compare the vocal habits from the VMA's to this video of Michael doing Scream live in concert?
